Pasture the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy I have come I have to say that again like first service I have come that they may have life and have it to the fool the word of God for the people of God let us pray dear Lord you are
Amazing we gather together collectively in your name because we love you we adore you we exalt you Lord and on this Palm Sunday we reflect on what you went through to save us to save people that you didn’t even know to save people that didn’t want to

Honoral and when I saw this piece y’all I I just tripped out you know it’s you know you know our our kids are doing so well recently he was uh his School Miamisburg High School uh submitted some of his writing work in this young writer’s contest called The Glitch
Anthony received the award and I’m happy to report that Anthony’s work has been chosen to be included in an upcoming book intitled The Glitch a flaw in fiction and he’ll be his work will be published July 31st 2024 our first author and he ain’t even graduated yet Anthony has been accepted and received a full scholarship to Arizona State University ladies and gentlemen I want you to stand to your feet and let’s give God praise for the Masson here let’s give God praise they excelling they are

Gave it to you God says I don’t want 90 but he says if you would trust me with tear he says if you would bring your tithe yeah that’s a tenth of your income whether it’s your gross whether it’s your net and he says if you would trust me and
You would give that 10 that I would prove to you that I’m not able to has open up the windows of heaven but he says I’ll give you blessings that you ain’t even got room enough to receive and we are a tithing Church what does that mean Pastor that means that our
Tithes our stewardship is a way how we take care of businesses you’ll never hear Us sell anything to pay bills because we’re a tithing Church we’re a responsible church and your tithe dollars are at work we’re right on our way ladies and gentlemen to burn the

Olives uh Jesus sent two of his disciples saying to them go to the Village ahead of you and as you enter it you will find a coat tied there which nobody has ever written uh when you see the coat that nobody has ever written untie it and bring it to me and if
Anybody ask you why you’re untying it here’s what you need to say the Lord needs it now those disciples were sent ahead and they went and they found the coat as Jesus had told them to do and verse 33 says Adrien that as they were tyeing the coat the owners of the coat
Asked them question just like Jesus said here’s the question why y’all untying that coat and here’s what they said the Lord needs it that’s why we are untying the coat verse 35 says and they brought the coat to Jesus they threw their cloaks their garments their blankets on
The coat and then they put Jesus up on this coat this donkey that nobody has ever written and the Bible says and as he went along je the people were coming along and they put coats and blankets and sheets on the road and when Jesus came near the place where the road goes
Down I’m talking about in Jerusalem where the road goes down to the Mount of Olives the Bible says the whole crowd of disciples began to have a praise party they begin to joyfully praise God and they lifted it up in loud voices uh they praised God uh because they had seen the
Miracles they had seen uh and the Bible says in verse 38 I’m almost done uh blessed is the king who comes uh in the name of the Lord uh peace in heaven and glory in the highest now you got to know that when you start making some noise
Everybody ain’t going to like it the Bible says in verse 39 Dr Roland that some of the disciples in the crowd said Jesus tell your folk to shut up they making too much noise around here we don’t do all of that the the Bible says they said teacher rebuke your disciples

About today brothers and sisters today is Palm Sunday and you already know since you’ve been in church since you got here this morning that Palm Sunday is not no regular kind of Sunday Palm Sunday is the Sunday that kicks off Holy Week it is the Sun Sunday of the first
Seven days where the Week begin to change Palm Sunday is a day Brook of Joy a day of Hope a day of Celebration and the thing that we celebrate on today is that the king of kings and Lord of Lord made his way into Jerusalem that’s why
We get a little excited on Palm Sunday because Palm Sunday is the day that we would see Jesus get up on the coat and Donkey ride into jerus Jerusalem they were crying out hosana but before the CL praise break could stop they begin to arrest him and try him and then they
Said crucify him now next Sunday is Resurrection Sunday we all know what Resurrection Sunday is it’s a day that we can say on Friday he was killed on Saturday he was buried up but early Sunday morning I don’t want to deal with that that’s next Sunday step but I want
To deal with Palm Sunday because to many of us missed this Sunday because sister Edna Robertson we put so much emphasis on Resurrection Sunday that we missed why the king really came H that’s my whole sermon uh jamaah I want to lift up a few reasons today of why Blake the
King king and for those of you that’s taking notes the reason Jesus makes his ride into Jerusalem on this donkey Shakisha here it is Jesus came to show us that some things you got to keep on the radar I just said that you looking at me I’m looking at you because I’m

It because the Bible says in verse 38 and 34 Barry that when Jesus comes into Jerusalem before he gets there he’s got 12 disciples y’all know Sunday school right Donna he’s got 12 disciples but he don’t tell all 12 Everything squ Jesus says I got 12 of y’all but I’m only

Ask you why you’re doing it here’s what you need to tell them the Lord told me to do it now notice Jesus didn’t tell them why they needed to get it why they needed to get the donkey because think about it Jesus is a king Deacon love and
Kings don’t ride on Cokes King don’t ride on donkeys King don’t ride on on on things that are beneath them but when you are the king of kings and Lord of lords Jesus says I’m not going to choose a Mustang or a th bread I’m going to
Choose a little donkey that ain’t even got no saddle on it because Jesus says it ain’t what you’re riding on that matters it’s who’s on the inside of you and I want to know do I got anybody in here that God told you to do something
And you know because God said it that settles it sometimes it ain’t the devil that Blocks Your Blessing it’s your mouth that blocks the blessing when you look down your row and say you talk too much you’re telling everybody everything and I like it because Jesus says that you can’t tell everybody everything
Because those people who will help you will end up hindering you have you ever been around on somebody that said you’re doing tooo much it don’t make any sense uh why you going back to school uh why you starting the business why you putting up with this why you putting up
With that well the reason I’m doing that is cuz God told me a word and when God gives you a word you don’t need to be checking with people for confirmation I wonder do I got anybody in here that can say I can’t tell everybody every I got
More dream killers in my family than I do in the streets sometimes it ain’t strangers that’s your problem it’s familiar people that’s your [Applause] issue wait a minute wait a minute he says I just need you to bring me a donkey because not everybody will understand the assignment that God has
You on H stop trying to tell big stuff to small-minded people stop trying to dumb it down for people in this season either you got to come up or you got to get off the ship but I made up in my mind that if God told me to do it I’m
Going to do exactly what God told me to do and you know why cuz everybody can’t handle what God showed you okay come here and here’s what I discovered some of y’all run your mouth too much and then you got the nerve to blame it on
The that I got all these folk that don’t like me people don’t know what they attack until you share it with them that’s why sometimes you got to ask the Lord Lord give me a ho hush because people can’t attack what they don’t know about it while you trying to make an
Announcement just go ahead and make some moves who am I talking to in here I’m not making no more announcements I’m not saying what I’m going to do you going to see what I do when it comes to fruition I got Bible to back it up faith without work is
Dead here’s the reason why you can’t tell everybody everything number one those who you share your dream with number one will try to talk you about of him have you ever tried to tell people what God was doing God told me to open up a business God told me to do that
Well you got enough money for that you got a fiveyear plan you got a threeyear plan what’s your credit scope well what well who you going to need to cosign wait a minute God didn’t tell me all of that when he told me God just told me I
Need to step out on faith and Faith ladies and gentlemen is not only the substance of things hope for and evidence of Things Not Seen faith is risky business in other words if I can see it it ain’t faith if I can put my hands on it it ain’t faith God will
Always give you something that you ain’t got access to so that you’ll have to lean on him to get it and to maintain it sometimes you got to learn how to keep some stuff under wraps he he he he’s got 12 disciples but only two of them go God help me in here
He’s he’s got 12 disciples and the two that go don’t miss this Dwayne he don’t tell them all of the detail now those of you that got children you know that you got some stuff you can tell your child and you got some stuff you got to learn how to keep it to

Get on my Baptist Soap Box be careful what you tolerate uh because what you tolerate is what you understand and too many of y’all been letting anybody treat you any kind of way but I need some people in here that can testify and say you can’t just talk to me any kind of
Way I Ain I ain’t one of your little friends I ain’t one of these little people you’ve been dealing with when you look down your rad and say neighbor no disrespect but I am not average I ain’t even mid grade baby I’m Supreme I’m I’ve always been like this I’ve always been

Ain’t going to disrespect me and if you think you going to disrespect me I’m going to show you I’m more of humanity than I am of divinity if Jesus can flip over tables you know I move some furniture up in here will you look down your road and say don’t you push me
Because you ain’t never met another me I’ve been like this all my life I might not cuss you but I get you together I might not put my hand on you but when I get on my knees and begin to pray my daddy will send angels to handle my light [Applause]
Weight and I like it I like it because Jesus says y’all don’t see me do Miracles and you let them outshout you God help me in here you you don’t see me open up blind eyes but you let people who don’t even know me like that
Begin to outshout you one of my pet peeves is that I refuse to have anybody connected to me if I can’t celebrate you and be genuine then I ain’t going to play in your face I need some people in here that can say I ain’t got time to
Play in nobody face I want you to win I want you to succeed I want you to go to school I want to see you happy I want you to get the bag I want you to get everything that God has for you but I refuse to be connected to you
And not celebrate you I refuse to have access to you and can’t speak into your life and every now and again you start going through hell not because you did it but because you got some folk that’s connected to you and God said before I give you another
Blessing I got to send you through the storm I got to send you through the fire because not everybody that is smiling in your face is meaning you any good I’m done ain’t it a trip and Jesus said that that a prophet isn’t even received in his own
House what is it about us what is it about our own insecurities that we can’t tell another queen she look good what is it about my insecurities that I can’t clap and celebrate another brother and fact me not clapping for you says more about where I am not than where I am and
I want to know where all the Queens at in here that can say I ain’t got time to be jealous if you doing the dog G thing I see you sis where all the brothers at in here that can say I ain’t hating on
You I ain’t going to put my mouth on you I ain’t going to put no straps on you but I know how to celebrate because what God makes happen for you he’ll make happen for me do I got any Bible in here there’s no secret to what God can do
What he’s done for others he’ll do the same thing I’m done if you ever want to see God bless you start clapping for somebody else I like to see people get blessed I like to see people get new houses I like to see people graduate I like to see people
Open up businesses I like to see people get blessed because when God starts blessing them and I got access I got everything you got I need some people in here that can say I’m glad God sent me some people that when they up I’m all
The way up and when they down I’m with them here it is I’m you can always tell who’s really with you by how they navigate and carry themselves when you can’t help them God help me in here today oh God help me everybody everybody’s connected when you
Can do something for them but you don’t find out who really with you until you can’t pay their bills until you tell them no until you tell them I’m unavailable I wonder do I got anybody in here God has been showing you and revealing you that everybody you count
You can’t count on if Jesus got betrayed by the 12 you know you got some judases in your [Applause] crew I can’t believe they did that in the church I don’t know why if they turned on Jesus you know they going to turn on you if they lied on Jesus you know they
Going to lie on you if they were sometime with G on the same day they said Hosanna but by Nightfall they said crucify him that’s why you got to be careful ladies and gentlemen who you put your stock in you better stop putting people talking about they my A1 since
Day one some folk ain’t been loyal since day one they’ve been jealous they’ve been envious they’ve been nasty they’ve been conniving you better ask God don’t give me more money God give me the spirit of discern man I’m done I’m done we got to go we got to go the king comes Deacon
Hutcherson to show me that everybody who got access to me don’t know how to treat me and you can always tell how people know how to treat you because you ain’t got to tell them what they need to do God help me in here oh people that know
You can tell when some off people that know your brother Jimmy smart can tell you having a rough day people that really know you you ain’t got to tell them what’s going on but you can hear that on on Telephone like woo what’s wrong with you what are you all
Right they know how to treat you but let me give you one more we’re going home the third and final thing the king comes to show us some things need to stay under the radar until it’s time to be seen the king comes number two to show

Want me to tell them to be quiet you really want me he says now if I tell them to be quiet they’ll be quiet for a minute but there’ll be some stones that are come rising up and I like the fact that Jesus makes up in his mind that I’m
Not going to let your insecurity is make me insecure when I’ve seen what God can do when I’ve seen God open doors uh when I’ve seen God shut doors uh I’m not going to let nobody Rain on My Parade I got to get out of here that Jesus says
Since the cheers were not for y’all you got a problem with it but Jesus says I’m not going to let you get on my last nerve and I want to ask you a question ladies and gentlemen how do you respond to criticism how do you respond to
Rejection how do you respond when people got something to say here’s what you do Stephanie you give them something to talk about they going to talk about you anyway they going to talk about you if you do anything they going to talk about you B if you don’t do nothing so since

And became a distraction and for one minute I almost came to the mic and said can you please be quiet I’m going to lose my train of thought and then the holy spirit said you don’t know what people have to deal with to get to church you don’t know the tears you
Don’t know the struggles you don’t know how they had to talk to themselves to get out of bed this morning you don’t know know how they’ve had to wrestle with the devil all week long so since you don’t know then shut up because you don’t know what they had to do to get
Here at the end of the service I was shaking hands and the lady that was sitting beside the man came up she wheeled the man in the wheelchair and she said Reverend Ellis I want to apologize I wasn’t trying to be a distraction but I’m his caregiver and
The reason I came to stand up every time he Taps me a few years ago he had lung cancer they had to do surgery something went wrong and he lost his voice but he didn’t want to let the fact that he didn’t have the voice to praise God so
Every time he started thinking of what the Lord did in spite of the cancer in spite of the sickness he would tap me and say since I can’t praise him then you praise him for me there are some of y’all I got 300 in the 10:30 service you
