So, I’ve taken the plunge and moved over to a much newer bike, but what is it? and have I made a foolish decision? Well, you’ll have to watch this short video to find out the answer to the first part of that question. The rest will hopefully be answered in forthcoming videos.

Today is new bike unveiling day and behind me under this cover I’ve got a beauty to show you yes that’s right I’ve sold the motori and I went 160 Mi to Bournemouth to pick this one up Reas there’s already been a hold up so hello and welcome and today I’m at B of

Kawasaki ready to pick up my new bike I’ll tell you about that in a minute but let’s have a little walk around the showroom while I’m waiting for the guy to come back so we’re in the cafe it’s very pleasant lovely ladies behind the counter give me a nice coffee well give

Me I pay for it bikes for sale and sold all sorts of things Yamaha two stroke there and there’s the rest of the showroom in the distance it’s quite compact this place but yeah Yamaha V4 they obviously specialize to a certain extent in classic Yamaha 2 Strokes so definitely

An eye on the ‘ 80s 990s bike scene all right let’s have some coffee taada 20123 BSA gold St in red 860 M on her when I picked her up right back to the rest of this now so I was very nervous indeed in fact so nous that I forgot to check the

Settings of the video camera and it was still on time lapse however I think that works well for this first very very nervous ride fax own ofs uh I just can’t remember a thing about it now but there was fortunately no incidents and the bike behaved itself it was one episode

Where it did cut out but I as I said I was very very nervous could have been any reason apart from that the bik was absolutely faultless here it is just a quick walk around I’m not going all the way cuz this is a busy road quadlock setup cars everywhere quick look from

This side and uh right let’s go few marks there on the exhaust how many miles have we done 80 8743 just a quick ground up on the bike before I head home I’m not going to do any more on board footage get home get myself rested pretty tired now she’s

Picked up some muck from the journey but not too bad considering bit of fling on the on the rear Rim so time for a wash on return but on the whole more than happy with things are going at the moment and I’ve overcome my sort of teety nervousness on first picking her

Up so let’s do the next 74 miles and get home and have a rest so thank thank you very much for watching this um please like comment subscribe makes all the difference to my channel and there’ll be more videos looking at this bik and other Things

    1. HiCornish motorcycle diaries, happy New bike and it's a great looking bike and have a great time running your new bike in and going on lots of rides out about . That's whot I want to do to go on lots of rides on my triumph street tripel rs and get new tyres Michelin road six tyres this year

    2. Welcome to team BSA, after a full year of ownership I can tell you it’s a brilliant bike, versatile, looks great and always resets your mood after a ride.

    3. Lovely looking bike CC !
A great second hand buy. I myself would consider one second hand but unfortunately they have only just launched over here, so there won't be any second hand ones to be had until next year at the earliest I would think.
Your bike looks nice in the red, white and chrome and I'm sure it will bring you much pleasure in the coming years.
I'm a bit gutted to see the Guzzi go though, a bike that I have a bit of a thing for !
Congratulations CC and good luck with it. I'm sure it will prove to be a great bike for you.
Oh, I was born in Bournemouth by the way and in your timelapse you rode past where my Nan used to live !
      Cheers buddy,
      Garry

    4. Welcome to the club 😊😊
Don’t forget as I pointed out to the bankrupt pensioner to run the bike for five minutes for the the oil to circulate and then check the level otherwise you will over fill it 👆👆😊😊😊😊
      Enjoy
      Phil

    5. Why on Earth would anyone sell a good bike like a Moto Guzzi, to buy a bike based on an ancient design. Retrograde step in my humble opinion. Would really like to hear your rationale and thought processes to arrive at this bad decision. Thks

    6. Friend of mine who lived near Polzeath use to have a dbd34, that was in the 1960ties, it always sounded wonderful as it went past my place, I like the look of the new bike but the sound is nowhere near as good.

    7. The Moto Guzzi is a much better bike than the BSA 650 Gold Star. Easy maintenance and shaft drive. You got a fake phony so called British bike with plastic crap plastered all over it to give it a vintage look with a Chinese engine. Very bad decision on your part.
