From what we can tell, this particular route hasn’t been completed before, but let us know if you know something different.

    Thanks for watching!

In the last part we made our way from dambi to gomont and unfortunately lost two of our team members along the way the final section of the Walk would take us to Whitby via slights and Russ up I’d been worried about our route out of gront when I was planning the walk it

Was another section which appeared as though it would be pretty difficult to navigate a road links gront to the next stop at slights but aside from that there were no obvious routes that follow the general line of the Railway this meant that me and renchi were back into

The tree to forge our own path what we should have checked beforehand is the gradient of the line we’d chosen every step is moving me up move ining heading down there step is moving me up just don’t fall well if you do just go on your bub and you probably die

All each tiny tiny Move I jump over every step is moving me up moving it’s moving me Up At this point the land began to drop away below us into a steep River Valley and we should have known this was a sign of things to Come Yeah have a feeling we might not be going down there I’m not sure if you can tell from this footage but this is steep this is probably the least appealing thing to see after walking 20 or so miles is there any I don’t know reckon

We can go around the top of it if it Narrows out flattens out the last thing your joints need is a steep slippery re Oh train uh we managed to find a more mellow slope down but it still required some scrambling and hanging off tree trunks every step is Ming me up moving moving me up every step is moving me Up Moving I’ll let this clip run to give you a sense of the grueling ascent and now we go up I jump over at this point I must admit that I was starting to think Mike and Joe were on to something wo yeah oh good effort in an effort to skirt around the

Edge of private land we ended up walking precariously along the top of a pretty hefty Bank progress was slow and we felt that land was continuing to get steeper and steeper this is how we walk on the moon bit going to be ready to go back to the

Road soon I think this is a bit intense after a quick look at the map we realized we were walking towards something that looked a lot like a cliff so we decided the best plan of action was to cut our losses and head up to the road some more Willies we’d caught a

Glimpse of a quad bike in the next field and weren’t particularly keen on Annoying any Farmers so we decided to make our way up the next fence line onto the road he was over there maybe let’s go bit further along yeah will Helm yeah it’s good to be back on this solid

Stuff it feels good do it the sky began to Glow Pink as the sun decided it was done for the day but we definitely weren’t and we were completely unaware of the Christmas miracle coming up the road behind us nut who’s this it’s Master good to see you good to see look out look out look out so shout out to the fans shout out to the fans real ones the fake ones J N yeah Mike’s been sh you’re out all day goodies God D beauti thank you I’ve even got you’re Santa you are

Santa oh he’s got chair you big legend by chance by chance he’s out of nowhere just with ey tea I love to he love sharing tea on the whip only thing I can drink he water cofy is our hero men yeah literally I know every step is

Just yeah cheers CR oh you’re very welcome shout out to e and here we go again back at it car parked right where we need to take our picture stand on the car there’s a Tesla in the way I don’t know it’s hard say it really wasn’t a good feeling to

Be back in darkness and the path from slight station led us up a hill and back into the worst of the Winter Wind You well it’s all just scar crawling through undergrowth again due to the darkness we managed to mess up our navigation it was hard to shake the feeling of De our view as we crawled through this Bush going oh yeah we’re out what is it we don’t teach when we were children we were helping oiv at least we tried to keep morale up but the distance and the loss of team members was really starting to get to us both I should mention that renchi had completed Athens Marathon a

Month or so earlier and here he was about to complete another one across the north yor MOS however I’m willing to bet the Athens one had considerably more sun and a lot less mud rivers and barbed wire fences which way could we see was a sand town

A was a friend of mine you don’t know you don’t Know I could I could however everywh everywh T marath so what of this Rel some life feels good now don’t it have to have a leaveing plan nothing’s got to E is your M well it’s all fun and we’re all fine anyway get it work before long we were on the final

Stretch along the river esque towards Whitby Harbor and we go to the Finish Can smell that seab breeze oh yes this felt like quite a dark quiet and somewhat anticlimactic finish to a mammoth day it was a bit of sweet to be finishing it without the rest of the team but the sight of Whitby station was a huge relief [Applause] Nonetheless we had managed to navigate 28.67 miles along the es rally Railway a route that as far as we know no one had completed before on a side note whoever decided to put the sign so far down Whitby station should immediately be sent on the walk Themselves So what did we learn that footpaths exist for a reason that paddling through the river esque in December is a good idea maybe but most of all we learned that setting a challenge to complete with friends is always a good time even if it means you completely knackered on Christmas Eve thanks for

Watching and I’ll see you at the next Station
