As a middle class Russian, this amazes me how this government is doing everything to make it worse for everyone around but themselves. Looks so obvoius that they just do everything to isolate their own country and turn it into North Korea. No free trade, no friends but Iran and North koreans, with liberal politicians incarcerated every day turning into political prisoners. Who is better off with this? The US only. EU and Russia always had good for each other but with the war starting it all went downhill. Even more so, every second Putin remains in power the country is beaing mor nails into its own coffin. He's the US puppet and its so obvious but no one talks about it.

Finnish policy is quite clear: keep a "humanitarian" mask on but block all practical points of entry and departure, so that 99% of current kind of asylum seekers would try anther route and other countries to sneak or break into the EU. Unlike each and any EU member, Russia is NOT a ECHR signatory and has no legal obligations to process any asylum seeker or pretend-to-be refugee. Finland, to the contrary, legally MUST allow any "refugee" to be checked and processed/verified, neither block him entry nor to "push back". This is WHY Finns twisted a trick, leaving only one of the northernmost border crossing opened for such "humanitarian" legalistic reasons.

People in Africa parading around with russian flags and chanting pro-russian slogans but when they have an opportunity to live in Russia they escape on bicycles in a middle of a snow storm.
Some Arabs & Africans has been blaming the West & have sided with Russia or China on issues of geo-politics. But all of them are not only allowed to migrate to Russia or China but themselves were interested to settle for the EU. Such irony.
