Our free fundraising tool is available to clubs and allows members and their wider community fundraise for them all year round with or without events. This webinar also covers fundraising integration for Cycling Ireland events.

    So today’s webinar is all about um fundraising and the other membership and events webinar and they’re live on our YouTube channel now as well with the the recordings um so for yourselves um as uh cycling Ireland clubs um you’d be aware of our uh three products um from event

    Master in terms of the membership side of things we’d operate the membership platform for cycling Ireland um as well as um the sickening for seling Ireland permanent events and we also have an integrated fundraising tool that was launched in 2021 um so the products kind of they can

    Work on their own or they can work uh Al together which you’ll be the most um familiar with yourselves um so the two um main areas we’re going to focus on um free and feel free to pop any kind of specific questions or cases in the Q&A or chat

    Box we can go through um but for this so as clubs you have the option to onboard your Club um specifically so if you want to do any kind of fundraisers to raise funds for um the club and be it equipment or gear or anything like that

    You can onboard the club um as a benefactor and set up different fundraising campaigns and link your fundraising events to your um kind of Club benefactor page so we’ll go through that um and then as well for those of you who um uh partner with any Charities on your

    Um events as well we’ll be going through uh this process and your um different options um here as well and there’s been a large amount of fundraising on the platform uh since we’ve launched it um but for you guys as clubs you can use it in two different ways um so we’ll be

    Going through um both those options um today the main difference um with our fundraising platform um would be that the funds go directly to yourselves in real time and you’ll notice as well for clubs if you’re using the membership platform to collect your club fees the

    Money goes to you in real time for your events the money goes to you in real time so for fundraising it’s the very same um so for any donations and they would go directly to you and if you’re partnering with any Charities um on your

    Events we can make it so that the funds go directly to the charity in real time as well so you can have an instant an instant impact um another huge difference is that there’s no fee to use the fundraising integration this is completely free um and there’s a load of

    Support um from us in terms of integrating this fundraising with your events and getting you set up as the benefactor as well um so yeah no fee for the clubs to use it if you’re an organizer no fee to add that on to your event and have all that custom um

    Integration um and as well just like the membership and the ticket for fundraising you have access to real time um reporting um as well for all the donations and fundraising activity um feel free again to stop me as I’m going along with any questions or queries and but I’ll just keep going

    Ahead unless I see anything com in there um perfect um so since we launched it there’s over 200 Charities um probably nearly 300 now um since we started this back in 2021 um for there’s a lot of um l larger Charities which you notice here that are

    Already um on boarded um but again we can have there’s already a a load of uh more clubs using the platform schools um and as well any kind of other kind of smaller nonprofit Community groups in your area that you’d like to um you know partner with as well they

    Can be really easily on boarded to the platform too um because there’s been such a streamlined kind of process um of the development of the fundraising you’ll noce as well one of the biggest events that we have on the platform would be the double Marathon um so if

    You’re uh familiar with any of the fundraising um uh part of our offering here you notice we launched our GI to you website and which is um separate as well but it’ll pull in all the fundraising events so if you are doing any fundraising uh integrated events

    You’ll notice that these would be listed on our campaign calendar here as well so um extra visibility for you um so yeah a huge success with the fundraising and again a load of different events and Charities that are using the platform and clubs as well

    Um what it would look like and I’m sure if you’ve had any kind of uh fundraising on the platform before or registered for different events yourselves you might have seen it but just in case so essentially when a person comes on to um take part um in an event they’ll

    Obviously go to the registration page um fill in their first name last name email any other custom question s um that are there from the organizer but before the check out um they’re asked if they’d like to fund raise while taking part um so this would be I think the the default

    On most um seling Ireland campaigns is that all Charities are available for selection um so yeah it just gives people the option so essentially um people have to find a reason not to take part and I think for the most part even if it’s people taking part in like a

    Small local um event I think we’ve seen over the past few years even those people have like the the biggest impact and can raise thousands um you know so even if if an event isn’t specifically um aligned with a spe a particular charity and just giving the people the

    Integrated option there can have a really big impact um on the event um so yeah basically once a person um says yes or Ops out and says no and they can pick their charity um check out and in the they’ll get a link then to their tickets and they’ll instantly

    Get a link to their fundraising page as well so this is totally customizable um uh too um and again uh they can keep it updated as they go along and take part um in in the event as well for the organizer um side of it here so there’s a few different options

    The one we just just would have seen there is the bottom one so where there’s the option is there to fund raise for all Charities and the participant can choose which one uh you also have the option to uh say for Club specifically if you wanted to

    Um say on board your own club but you wanted to partner with a specific charity as well um like we can do it so that the funds are split automatically between and I think the biggest example we have for this on the platform so far

    That I can think of will be the The doublin Pride run so it would SP automatically between um or for example if you wanted to set up um a standalone event say just for your Club um in particular or for example you might want to do um a specific campaign for um

    Another charity or uh nonprofit group as well um so loads of different options there to suit um the needs um of a lot of organizers and for yourselves as clubs if you’re setting up your own um fundraising events as well um the further customization you have on this

    Is that the pages can automatically be created as people register so this would be um common in uh specific fundraising or events that are specifically aligned with fundraising um or charity or club events um uh people can be asked during registration if they’d like to take part

    Which is what we saw earlier um so there’s a yes no option and this can be defaulted TS um then as well so people can turn it off um there just pre pre-ticked for them um a big um um case study for this in terms of fundraising for organizers

    Um is that it’s a really big marketing tool um is what we’ve seen um so essentially as You’ have seen there as soon as people check out um and bought their tickets they’re given a fundraising page um and they can literally start sharing that online straight away so you’ll notice uh you’re

    Going to have increased visibility of your event more so on social media and again we’ve seen massive massive success and people sharing their fun pages in WhatsApp groups um so just to show you let’s see if there’s a fundraising page I have open here yeah so on the on the

    Fundraising Pages as well um this is just a a run example here but you know the the link there’s built-in registration links to your to your event as well so if they click on the name of the event here which is right up top or

    Go down to the bottom um there’ll be a link to the registration page for that for for your event so it makes it a really streamlined process to get more people um taking part in your event as well just from people sharing their fundraising Pages um you notice as well

    In cases like this and you can have people that can be making an absolutely massive impact um for Charities um and again this can um give you increased uh media coverage on your event as well that would be more so organic than paid and with the with the good news stories

    Um we’ve noticed higher participation rates as well on fundraising events and we noticed that people will more than likely book together um and take part together and get more people taking part with them and this would be across all um events on the platform um some organizers as well um

    Would opt to um leave a custom question on the order form to ask people why they’re taking part and if they can you know contact them um about their specific cause um so they would actually actively uh um engage with people who are fundraising and then again can um

    Link in with uh that on their own social media stories if you’re doing any marketing campaigns for your event um and as well in uh local um media Outlets then also um if you’re partnering with a specific charity um you know for example if you wanted to do um a fundraiser um

    For your club and you’re partner with say the irar foundation uh with the money split between you’re going to benefit from the marketing resources from from the r chart foundation so if you’re working with a charity they’re going to be sharing the page for you as well on their channels they’re going to

    Have separate um ambassadors so again even more each then as well um and then as well for all of those campaigns there is a fundraiser um leaderboard so I’ll just click in here um so on the leaderboard as well um you’re going to have your act your fundraisers with the

    Amount that they’ve raised and we can you can have an option of having teams there as well and then you’ll see the amount raised for um each charity uh as well in in your events you have full breakdown there and then you have a built-in fundraiser of the week feature

    As well so again if you’re doing any marketing activities for your event um it’s really great um social content or content for your website as well to show how much your event is making a difference um then as well um uh yeah you have a the the full

    Breakdown there and if you have any um sponsors for your event um as well this can be a fantastic tool for them um because they can see the massive impact the event has had for Charities and are going to want their V their name um associated with it so it can be really

    Handy tool when you’re going for sponsorship for the following year um and so on for the fundraising campaigns um if you um on board your Club you can create a fundraising campaign without um a h event attached to it um a big um feature that we’ve actually added um in the last

    Year um is a A Step Challenge option so for example if you or we can do this as distance as well so if you wanted to do um a cycle where people can log the amount of kilometers they’ve done or miles they’ve done um throughout the

    Campaign um this um is a really great tool which the IR Foundation are using um at the moment as well um so again this can be specifically just for your club and to fundraise for your club or again you might want to partner with a specific charity and split the money

    Between but this would be an example where there’s fundraising without um a specific um event uh uh taking place as well and so people can do it as a team uh there’s individual fundraisers um on the team pages this would uh list all the individual people

    Taking part within that team um so a load of functionality there um and a really great one in terms of um engaging you know club members or partnering with a specific charity and to do something like this anything else so far that’s pretty much the the event side of it um if you

    Want to have integrated fundraising um on your events we actually do the work for you um so all you need to do is when your event when you when you’ve applied for your permit or if it’s not permitted you just want to do um a totally separate event and you just

    Have to pop us an email to support ad ventmaster and we will do all the custom fundrais and integration for you um so the next part um I’ll show you here is the onboarding process um so like I said because you’re a club um you can onboard um as a uh benefactor just

    To show you You’ come on to give to.ie um I’ll pop the link in here in here below as well so you’d be a nonprofit organization and I’m just going to click on the onboard button um so when you click on get started um you’ll be prompted to log in um and

    Create a login to the platform and this is part of the benefactor um setup form so it’s a very streamlined process you’re just going to need your uh club name the organization type would be Club um a contact name um uh for for the the fundraising account with us um you can

    Add in um a description about the club you can upload your logo you can have a banner image a custom color um on it as well uh you can link in your social media channels um and as well you can set the different Milestones so the Milestones are um we

    Do builtin um Communications so for example if somebody is fundraising for um your club or like that as well for Charities as as well um they get automated emails to um give them a booss once they’ve reached the Milestones that you’ve sit out here um or as well um if

    They aren’t an active fundraiser then they’re going to get um prompted to um you know with the fundraising tips in terms of how they can get more more donations to their page um so this is what it looks like so once you are um Lo

    Logged in um I think I’m in our test one up here um yeah so this is our our test account so when you log in this is what you’ll be met with um if you’ve been you’ve onboarded your Club as benefactor um this won’t have a lot of data now but

    Um essentially you’re going to have the list of your the campaigns that you’re available um for selection in um you’ll have a list of your fundraisers uh a full list of donor payments access to all the reports um for all the different donations and a built-in new newsletter tool um as well

    You can update any of your the the settings on your account um as well and we have access to a full um support section as well so any kind of webinars or any new features there’s a full guide there on how to set them up or again we

    Can go through that um with you uh separately as well um so for the um benefactor page um you would once you’re on boarded this is your benefactor page again this is our test one so it look wouldn’t look as as nice as the ones you’ll be setting up um so you’d have

    Your logo the banner would be going in if you’ve added in one there um and basically you’re going to have a link all year round so you’re going to have a donate button so if somebody clicks on that they can donate directly to you um again there is a QR code available for

    This as well so even if you’re making any posters or things like that people can donate directly and you’re going to have a start fundraising link as well so again um if somebody wants to come on come on to your page and set up a fundraising page for you all we need is

    Their first name last name email they can set their own Target and customize their page with um text and upload any kind of custom um images then as well um so again the rest streamline process and then you have all those links ready to go and then again you have full access

    In terms of um adding your uh Club as a benefactor um to the fundraising events um on the platform um this is just an example here so again um the QR codes I think a lot of people find useful in terms of getting the um donations um as

    Well um so yeah and just the the payment system we use is Stripes that’s how all the funds go to you um in real time um so for any of you already using the membership platform or ticketing for your events um again it it’s um Stripes

    So all goes to you um directly and um and yeah I think uh that is brings us to the end of the presentation part um again if there’s any um uh questions or queries um something you’re thinking of um feel free to reach out we can do um another

    Offer at least all the functionality say just giving but with no cost um yeah um essentially it have H set up fundraising campaigns um set up fundraising um events well that would be different we I don’t just giving can’t do the integrated um fundraising on events and

    But yeah there is um no fee and full resources there in terms of donations um and uh fundraising pages and um there as well I don’t see any other questions in there um if you think of anything else guys feel free to reach out and again if you
