Here she is, my new Royal Enfield Classic 350.

We, after Ivy was made a total loss, I started looking for a replacement. I was going to get a brand new Classic 350, BUT, then I saw this one for sale on Bike Trader.

I went to look at it and fell in love. It’s a cracking bike, one year old and only 608 miles on the clock. Touring seats, sump guard, DNA air filter and the genuine RE leather tool roll it was a no brainer.

And to cap it all, the fella selling it is a real gent, he even brought it over for me in his van, so I didn’t have to ride in the ice today. Thanks Nick you’re a star.

So, it’s only a very short video but I know some were asking to see it.
I will be out on her asap on new adventures.

There are still some videos of Ivy to see yet though.
Ride safe, Dave.

Good afternoon it’s that block on a motorbike guess what I’ve got look at that little beauty that’s uh Ivy’s Resurrection really so got different seats on her uh it’s come with the touring seats on little leather tool roll at back which might get me sandwiches in and it’s absolutely

Immaculate pristine condition uh and it’s got the uh sunp guard on as well so all I want now is this stupid cold weather and Frost and Ice to disappear so I want to go out on it look at that and the mileage one year old 68 mil absolutely beautiful

Bike so I’ll give you a better look around it in a bit when I get going I know it’s not made in redit it’s definitely not made in redage but they just set it off there’s one on the other side as well uh and when you rev it ready for this That’s got the uh DNA filter on uh I’ve got the original one as well with the original cover so let me know is it too loud don’t know if it is if I think it’s too loud up videos I’ll swap them back over right just going back in now where it’s

Warm so I need to uh think of a name for him now so there we go right folks sees you later

  1. Nice one Dave, What a great buy, you're going to love those touring seats, so so comfortable and look the business too. Not seen black seats on the Halcyon black before, I have the brown touring seat on mine which I like, but I think the black suits it better..
Certainly not biking weather in Sheffield today, been shovelling snow all morning.. Keep up the good work, best regards…Pete

  2. Beautiful, and congrats! 🥳 So happy for you. Would love to take a closer look at your air intake / exhaust setup in a future vid. I've decided so far to remove the catalytic converter and replace the Hitchcocks mid-pipe. But I'm undecided on DNA filter vs stock filter, and, open cover or stock cover.

Some guys claim the open cover negatively impacts high-end power. Others complain of the droning noise with the open cover. Many prefer DNA with the stock cover, which helps with both issues. Then there's the question of how much grit is the DNA filter actually allowing through(?). I imagine that's also dependent on one's typical riding conditions.

Anyways, just thinking out loud here. Looking forward to following your new journey!

  3. You have so many friends here Dave, and I’m as pleased as any ot them to see and hear this news. I hope that this bike can be hidden from the eyes of scroats

  4. Brilliant Dave ,looks like the bike has all the extras on it already ,in cracking condition ,you deserve it mate .I look forward to the videos ,when the weather stops being absolute rubbish .Chris

  5. Hi Dave. That a great early Christmas present for you. So pleased you are still riding the same stile bike with its great sounding exhaust note. I bet you can’t wait for the warmer weather and your future retirement.

  6. Pls go for INDORI exhaust ..you will get that original beautiful Thump but with NO sound pollution…. 👌👌👍👍🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

  7. Glad you're back on a classic.
Just coming up to 2000 miles on mine
So spent year one fully running it in.
Next year touring plans getting sorted over winter.
Kept the cat but fitted a Punjab short silencer with removable baffles.
Definitely imo makes a better sound but will still pass the MOT no probs.
Love these little Enfield classics .
So much better than my previous 900 Kawasaki which was totally soulless with zero character.
    Happy riding mate.
