The 400 a.m. Rave has started good morning I welcome bright and early on a 4:00 a.m. on a Monday morning and this is a day Ina life of darring as’s my boots tucked away until I get to my first destination because the first drive ahead of me is needing some comfy shoes

And I’m currently planned for a night out because I’ve got quite a few jobs around the London region my plan for today goes as follows I’ve got my first drop in Sur for six pallets and then I’m going to books um not sure where that is either books God knows um five palletes

And then I’m off to wemble Great London and that’s for three pallettes and then I’ve got hartfordshire it’s um by The Garden City for six pallettes the first job is you’re looking at 5 hours with traffic probably a little bit longer so I’m probably have to take a break before

I do get there 221 miles from where I am now so we Zoom right out we got all of this distance to cover this morning so it’s got to be a long day for sure cuz we are going there south of London not too far from

Croen and we’re going on to the good old M25 Ring Road Just gone past the Hopwood service station on the m42 and as you can see the traffic is just horrendous at the moment I seen some blue lights off in in distance but not too sure where they disappeared to seem to have gone so I’m just hoping it’s more congestion not an accident or

Anything it’s just really really heavy this morning all over the time is 20 to8 still got 125 miles to go definitely going to be a long one so I’ve worked out all in all I left at 5:00 a.m. this morning it’s going to be 5 and 1/2 hours of actual

Driving maybe 6 hours before I get to my first job all in all it’s quite a long time and then I’ve got several jobs around London AR as well well four alog together so I’m not too sure how far north I can get I don’t know if to go up

The M40 or the M1 um I wait up when I get to my last job um see where abouts on the M25 or London region I am anyway if more to the West the might jump up the M40 if it’s more to the east or north of the M25 then I’ll probably go

Up the M1 instead um Serv station not too bad on the one there’s a few what are a bit hit and miss but there a couple are not too bad um if possible I won’t mind trying to get like the Red Lion in I think it

Is that’s one of the private ones looks quite nice has a snap account as well and got a fuel bunker on site that’s worth checking out so hopefully won’t be able to get up that far north but realistically I’m not too sure where I’m going to be

Going oh what time I’m going to be stopping at I’ve got a timed slot as well for one of them deliveries it’s a quarter past 2 booking and that’s the one that’s in Wembley that’s my third drop as well for the day hopefully I can make it there in

Time I should be all right to be honest with you I’ll probably get there for about 1:00 give a take realistically thought mix the camera up a little bit for you get a bit of a poov of the driving so this is all you can see really when you’re driving a class

One vehicle as you can see so I’ve got my mirrors over this side I need to keep an eye on I need to keep an eye on these two mirrors as well keeping a good distance from the vehicle in front slowing it down a little bit indicat to the right checking the

Mirrors slide it across hey it’s not been too bad so far around Birmingham as you would expect really really heavy wasn’t it traffic around there it’s put me back probably a good hour or so still got 77 miles left to go and du to get there half past 10 but

That’s not including my brake as well slow it down a little bit there we go cruise control straight on so it’s just this button here for me and then if you check my time as well I’ve got 1 hour and 7 minutes left on the driving time for the taco so I’m

Always keeping that up on there so I can get a good reminder of how long I got left driving certainly beats the analog tacos anyway back in the day with them little paper discs well they were a headache that is for sure when I first T

First passed my test I would had to use them for a little bit so I’ve had a little bit of experience in them they’re not the best digital cards much much better for recording your hours and keeping track of everything it’s uh 10 to 9 at the

Moment so I do hope everybody had a good weekend had a pretty quiet one myself didn’t really get up to load had my CPC course on Saturday morning morning which was as you can imagine very very boring unfortunately it’s got to be done and the course that I done was on load

Safety and securing loads Etc and yeah they’re not the most exciting courses to do especially when you’re doing it at home it just feels a little bit more long- winded I suppose you got your home Comforts of being at home like you probably put a bit of TV

On in the background if you if you’re careful with it probably get away with it uh one guy did fall asleep which I thought was pretty funny he looked like he was in his uh Caravan Caravan holiday home and he was laying down on his set

And then by 3:00 so like 6 hours into 7 hours into it you can see the guy just fell asleep completely on his City got a little bit too comfy which did make me laugh um and then something a little bit random happened on Saturday I don’t know if anybody else are

Spontaneous at buying things um myself I could be really spontaneous and yeah so we’re gone to B&M to try and get some bags of stones for the garden cuz those was going be doing gardening on Sunday and it needed a couple bags of stones cuz run offer at

The moment from there think it’s like 17 quid for free bags these particular stones that we need so good price so we thought well why not let’s go to B&M on Saturday after the CPC course get them and then Sunday morning we can start doing the garden that was the plan

However lean thought it’d be a good idea to come along with myself and then bring Alby as well and the B&M store in Witness has a really big pets at home across the way so lean’s like Why Don’t We Go There have a look at some rabbits cuz Alby

Loves his animals and stuff so you can spend 10 or 15 minutes having a look at all these little rabbits in the windows bit like a a free petting zoo type thing I suppose isn’t it at pets at home so we’re looking around all these different animals like Geral and stuff

Like that and then I ended up getting talk talking to one of the workers were there about rats and I was having literally a 45 minute conversation about rats and he was telling me how good they were he’s had rats before um they’re the best pets you can have when you’ve got

Like a young child in the house cuz they’re really friendly you can teach them tricks you can teach them how to do the toilet in certain areas of like the cage like if you have like a little litter tray or anything for them also you can teach them like tricks play

Basketball they respond to their name being called so they learn their name and you can give them a treat and stuff for everything long story short I ended up going home with two rats 150 later so we had to buy a new cage buy all the stuff for them

Food so yeah we’ve got two pet rats now sitting in the living room and then when we got home Leanne was like what have we done this just a really big mistake cuz she doesn’t like rats but when I was talking to the guy I looked down one of the aisles Alby

And Leanne are going around with a shopping basket and they’ve got a shopping basket full of treats um a wheel all the things that we need to have the pet rats so we just decided to get pet rats and then later on Lan’s like what I

Don’t like rats why do we get pet rats I don’t know but yeah that was my weekend anyway I hope you had a little bit more of a exciting weekend and less random that’s what we did and then on Sunday got a bit of the garden

Done got to get it prepared for the winter well prepared for the summer from the winter let me know what did you get up to just on the M40 time is currently quter 9 and just entering bookings Hampshire uh what Junction is this at the moment if I can see it the fog’s

That thick uh Junction five for West wome still got 53 miles to go 41 on the yeah 41 minutes on the tackle for driving time left before do need to take a break I think some serves is in about 20 M give or take I’ll probably going to

Stop over there there’s no point trying and get onto the M25 find the services on there and push it so might as well take it a little bit earlier did start at 4:00 a.m. this morning so I need to take a break anyway before 10:00 ideally to cover the working time

Directive the the is just so thick around there it’s always pick ground here to be honest we the fog every time I have come down here it’s always foggy must be a little bit higher up than other parts of the country definitely so yeah can’t see that Valley there was

Normally on a road right hand side it’s just thick thick fog can’t see anything over there to the right think I’m about 17 miles before I do get on the M25 Ring Road so our service station should be coming up shortly come off the M40 and I’m just going to take the 45

Minut break over at the Beacon field service station it’s not a bad little one parking is not always that great depends what time you get here for but the facilities now are all okay what are there got everything you need now I’ve got a salad for dinner

But I don’t know to have a salad no want yeah I’m going to eat healthier I’m going have a salad because I’m going to be stopping off at some service station of some sort tonight anyway aren’t I so then I’ll eat some crap food tonight either makis Burger King one of

Them Chopstick places maybe who knows I’ll save all that for tonight instead have a healthy salad for the morning but Le a little bit too early isn’t it for a salad am I wrong in saying that is a little bit too early for a salad uh there’s people agree with

Agree with my little statement I mean I like a good salad do but when it’s half 9 in the morning yeah it’s slight weird eating a salad that early in the morning right like spacewise it’s not tons of space but if I go right round I probably have to park on the side

Somewhere it’s just not a lot of space as the end reverse in some of these Bays you can see with this truck here now in front Okay I think you’re just seeing a driver come out on the left hand side which I should be able to get in nice

And easy cuz W have to do a blind revers or just keep to the left and then go this way and then reverse it straight back then nice and easy let straighten up a little bit yeah should be all right there just got to keep an eye on the

Vehicles so don’t get too close to them there you go nice and easy that should do me there it’s quite big service to these ones got quite a lot here for you just in case you’ve never been here before right then break’s done I’ve done a little bit of route planning as well

Just to Google Maps the place where I’m arriving at it is inside the zone as well for the um is it ules or whatever you want to call it around London body Miss missions zones and all that stuff in within that and yeah it doesn’t really look

Like a big place to get in and out of if being honest on Google Maps getting to it looks like I has to go through quite a lot of uh business states and housing places and stuff so it could be a little bit of a tricky one to get in out

Of I’ve planned it as well so when I come onto the road when I arrive it’ll be on my right hand side which ideally a need cuz if you have to reverse into it I don’t have to mess about with turning around to get in a good position to reverse back onto

It so if I’m arriving with the business on the right hand side I should be able to reverse into any yards that the need to so that’s the plan of action anyway hopefully I don’t have cars parked everywhere cuz every time I do come to London I’m always delivering to somewh

It’s really pain in near the backsides trying and get in and out cars are always double Parts everywhere nobody lets you out or anything everybody’s in a rush to get nowhere so hopefully when they get there it’s going to be a little bit easy one

To get in and out I mean I don’t have a lot of pallets for them either so shouldn’t be too bad I hope turns out I made the right choice then having a break nice and early with 30 minutes driving time left instead of pushing it right to the limit when I

Have 5 minutes time left because well M25 being the M25 it’s coming to a stand still before me and getting on the M25 not great it’s not great it’s not what I want traffic to come off the a25 at Junction 10 for the A3 my word that was backed up for some

Miles it really was so I’m go jump on to the m A3 South down this way loads of work going on at the moment so my looks fit it’s going to be improving the junction so slip Roll come straight off onto the M onto the A3 should say

So I’m think in the long run might be a little bit of a better Junction to get on and off um it’s 50 mph as well average Speed I don’t think I’ve ever come off it at this Junction before drove past it quite a few times still got 14 miles to go due to get there 10 to 12 so traffic’s probably back about an hour or so Far all I can say is welcome to London it’s absolutely chaos around here at the moment got a bit of Road works on the go got UL everywhere I think left hand side can’t go unless it’s 7 and 1/2 ton uh I’ve got to go right round this round about

Pretty much the third exit taking the A2 40 now oh yeah this is absolutely crazy around air traffic all right we going keeping the left hand lane though just so keep the blind spots to the minimum around here whilst it’s quite narrow on that um left Lane’s closed so I’ll be careful with

That all right then 5 miles to go God there’s not a lot of space there get past all These uh 15t 3 on my rocks and 1410 got a few people have at that one in the past so you see all the Markings there’s head office there for little I don’t if it’s head office such good little House they are pretty narrow these Lanes so I’ve taken a little bit of the right hand side but still got people trying to sneak up on the right hand side of me so I need to keep an eye out for the cars what are doing there yeah fall back a little bit that’s

Good this is traffic’s died down a little bit more Three a m off now okay course to sat it’s left down here and get right rolled G rolled oh my God all right okay okay one of them type of streets is it oh my word hopefully it gets a little bit bigger I got charge points there for electric

Vehicles never seen four in the middle of a Terrace Street thank you this is plenty of giveaway sections all right should be just down here on the right hand side of course Google Maps what I’m going do just go pull over on this little section

Here just park a little bit out of the way double check with Google Maps how far down it is cuz I don’t want to drive past it and then get stuck and give plenty of space for these trucks what coming down as well right so on Google Maps it’s

Seeing um how far away is it 200 Ys right so should be one of these there now on the right hand side Somewhere post code says here um drop pull up just a cuz I think this is it on the right hand side now so plenty of space anyway for a good triple pram size to get through and then gra a walk down to see what the access is like I think I

Found it but it doesn’t look good plan of action reversing it down here and coming off that road to get down here so the road’s not the biggest and it’s luckily it’s not too busy considering it’s London but right where this post is and the green fence that’s where I need to get

Into so wish me luck so I need to try and get as close as I can to this little section here s head out try to get a bit of a 45° angle or [Applause] so hard left got to be careful all the pul on the passenger side as

Well and slowly just turning it right try and get the unit in front of the trailer keep close to this black fence don’t know you besides clear and then gently left turn right so nice and EAS it and then keeping it straight a little bit so I’m quite close now to the other

Side yeah I’ve got about 2 foot on the other [Applause] side do make it nice and easy for you don’t there some places And that’ll probably do me there to be honest going be a back door tip little bit more little bit of tight turning now to the left oh it should be able to do it this cars don’t come flying down anyway it’s keeping on that not idea what that car being there

Though s me out the window just about just about take out a bit of this side so the end of the trailer doesn’t cut the corner take the fence out thank you very much for Waiting there way you go looking about an hour drive oh God an hour drive 34 miles due to get to the next one 25 one Wow first job done and it’s half 12 I started at 4:00 a.m. this morning all right okay here it’s gone quick that gone quick it just took a

Think there’s enough space to reverse it back down that little section and then pull forward up there two down two to go next one is 14 mil away half hour drive so qu 2 booking so I should be all right if we get there before quarter 2 quter to 3 so as you

Before in the past it’s the little concrete ones what do the most damage you get thrown up so high when you go over there you could go over at 10 m hour and they’re still bouncing around everywhere but I’ve noticed if you go over about 17 mph give a take

You don’t get hurt by them they don’t throw you up or anything if you go over really slow they just bounce the crap out the cab can’t be good for the suspension it really can’t so this is our oneway system now hopefully getting to wble

From where I am now it’s going to be nice and all right nice and easy for us I’m going to be going left down this this route to a little village called IA yeah I’ve never heard of it before hopefully it’s all right for hgvs to get

Deliveries in chut wood I don’t do any deliveries in central London God that could be an absolute nightmare I’ve seen some videos of people trying to get around in there I couldn’t be bothered too many cyclist two narrow roads and nobody wants to giveway to any trucks do they couldn’t

Think of anything worse Fair place for everybody it does drive around central London that’s off to you it’s first time I’ve actually drove down this road before um yeah it’s not he airport I thought it wasn’t first cuz there a bit of a runway on either side and it looks more for

Believe I don’t is that is that a real place uh I’ve never gotten Garden City before but it just sounds made up doesn’t it 27 miles due to get there at 4:00 so about 40 minute drive now for that one I’ve got 1 hour and 25 minutes left of

Driving time before I need to pull over and take a 45 minute break then I can extend it for a further hour then then so I’m not sure how far north from going to be getting but by look straight not very far right Y which way we’re going towards cuz I don’t actually

Know uh yeah everybody’s just under cutting there got me left indicator and you know uh turn left bloody h trying to give myself plenty of space so I don’t crash into anybody and you get Walky races around here so I’m trying to take up two lanes

Cuz I’m going to be going around that corner there and it looks quite tight you see so I don’t want to stick myself in the left hand lane and then get stuck going around that corner and my trailer cut across and then take out that Bush it just looks really overgrown there

Doesn’t it cuz that’s traffic light Believe It or Not hidden inside the bush don’t if the camera’s picking it up light let’s try and move it over there we go just just stuck in a bush and now I’m half in the right hand lane as well and there’s a van trying to

Push its way through to get behind this car in front don’t you just love driving around London There’s a building there just getting built it look like a big office style build than any I don’t know what it was that construction site in front of us I was just looking at it and it looked like it was getting built but using shipping containers as

Well uh I didn’t know that was a thing over here it looked really really weird unusual don’t if that’s what it’s started to do these days recycling old shipping containers to try and build them quicker I don’t know I’ve never seen it before but it looked like it was

Certainly there’s probably about 15 20 of them at least slacked up on top of each other I it wouldn’t surprise me anyway this day and age cuz some of the new build house is not slly wellb built AR compared to the ones in the 1970s era all right then

A406 straight up here for a couple Miles just going to keep yourself tucked in out the way to the left hand side Still about 20 M off some of the drives around there are absolutely mental the bloody are honestly I don’t have a clue where I am by if for being honest with you somewhere in West London but I’ve just gone past a storage unit place um I can’t remember what it was

Actual called but there was a jet in the window up at the top hanging down full size like jet an old RAF jet of some sort yeah you don’t see that every day right by a glass window next to the side of the road all right 41 I need to cut

Across see if we can get across in one piece I really don’t understand though why so many cars try to cut up a truck cuz at the end of the day if my truck was to hit another car let’s be honest with you there won’t be much damage on the

Truck but I don’t think You’ be driving your car oh God what state of this oh God oh God this is stressful well I did a build roads like this so this road here now for an example um one of the main issues is I need to get over to the right hand

Lane a little bit because I’m not going to be able to make that corner sitting in the left lane so luckily Mr rac’s let me out to move over and I’ve just got to take it wide as I can there we stuck in that left hand lane we Trail over cut across

That corner into the barrier and that’s one thing I don’t really want to be doing so if you ever get a sticky situation like that just hold yourself back stick your right indicator on take up both lanes and then just guide it nice and wide around the little

Corners try not put yourself in um situation like no just thinking oh it would be all right I can risk it never risk it always be on the safe side if it’s taking up two lanes you got to take it up two lanes just keep your eyes on for know um

All the cars and bikes and whatnot I thought that bike was going to hit that car then my did anyone else think that by the way that bike was not going to stop in t before that car got hit R out um right going towards Asbury and collinsdale Li

Is that’s scene uh henden oh that’s where I am henden Central Station there to the right hand side looks really fancy actually doesn’t it if an underground station right careful these cars I need to try and keep my right indicator on that little bit I need to

Try and take a little bit of the Middle Lane so if anybody opens the car door like so i’ only we taking the car door off or injuring somebody as well so what I’m go s in the Middle Lane all right then just needs to try and reverse into this yard here coming

Across So it’s pretty easy to reverse in instead of reversing [Applause] [Applause] out [Applause] just got be careful of lamp post and stuff on the passenger side just trying to move it a bit more in the middle of the yard get around on the car on the left hand

Side that was done literally in about 15 night not probably 10 minutes six pallets took off uh I’ve stck it off for a break for 45 minutes it’s current 20 4 and let’s see how far north I can get so I have been given tomorrow’s run already

And it’s over in rexam area so to get to rexam from where I am now it’s going to be 2 and 1 half hours 120 miles and I thought have to be there till 10:00 so if you get up in the morning um probably get up for half 5 be

On the road for half 6 get there for about half 9 nice and early get loaded full load and then back to the Depo this is the place part of a welcome break and one of the best things they have at this place got a nice little

Quiet room as well if you want to just get back chill out on laptop to whatever you doing watch a film even soundproof as well and they’ve got a gym how cool is that definitely going to stoping a again this is the seating area got some pool

And nice little Lounge area as well so that’s me sorted for the night got the F1 on TV got my laptop do some editing nice burger got a cheeky pip jobs are good in winning I’m going to leave the video there for now so if you did enjoy it don’t a like comment
