Good morning, and welcome to day 2! As you can see, I’m carbing up for the big day. It is 61 kilometers on the bike, I have never ridden that far So I am a little nervous. What are we going to see today? Well…you are just going to have to watch to fine out.

We are going to be riding all the way to Karlovy Vary, The famous spa town, But where we go between, That is a mystery. So I am going to finish my breakfast, And I will meet you out on the bikes. My name is Brian Cox,

But most people know me as The Travel Vlogger. I’m always in search of extraordinary experiences, and on this adventure I’ll be biking over 700 kilometers across the Czech Republic. Come with me to see what makes this destination so special. Have you really not ridden 61 kilometers before?

No, probably the most I have ever ridden Is probably about 50 or 45 kilometers. What about you Garrett? Um…yeah, I think that was like my maximum. And that was one time, 8 years ago. Well. I’m not carrying your dead weight! We left Františkovy Lázně in the direction of Loket,

Following along the Ohře river for around 47 kilometers. It is really amazing! We are just following this river It is beautiful! You just have to see it for yourself. But just the countryside This time of year it is the end of Spring, So there are flowers everywhere um…it is just very nice!

If you do have allergies Definitely be sure to bring sure to bring some medication. There is a lot of pollen out there, But besides that, it looks amazing! Beautiful temperature! As afternoon approached, it got much warmer, so we decided to quench our thirst and stop for our first beer. Na zdraví

Jiří : Na zdraví Best beer! Absolutely love it. Well. Just what I told you. Ahhh…oh my goodness, that hits the spot. Garrett: Are you ready? Apparently we are riding a couple more kilometers And go to another brewery So yes, I am ready! We are going to a town called Loket,

Which means elbow. Loket ya! We had 8.2 kilometers to be exact Which went by a lot smoother after having the beer And in no time We made it to Loket Our first stop was at a local, family owned brewery Where we would learn…about..beer! The foam is very important for the beer

Because it protects the beer from the air And the flavor stays there for a long time. Na zdraví! Na zdraví! It was great meeting Lukáš. He taught us a lot about Czech beer And how important it is to the Czech culture. It is such an important part of our life

We are not drinkers We do not drink, 10 drinks per day, But we really enjoy a good beer And we really enjoy the people Which are sitting with us and drinking the beer So, it is part of our nature. The beer was super delicious! So we were even more excited

When we found out the brewery had a famous lunch item A pig that was slow cooked, underground in BEER! Famous for pickles, they do a lot pickled Pickled cheese pickled meats If you like pickles, This is your place. I am not sure if I am going to properly describe, How good this looks.

Oh, you will not like it. You will not like it. It is really good, it is tender So good! It is so soft and so tender. It just like…falls apart and dissolves in your mouth. Now that we filled our bellies, It was time to take a quick walk around,

The historic town of Loket This town is beautiful! Eventually, we would make it to the castle we climbed the tower, and took in the surrounding scenery Just as we were preparing to start biking again, we noticed the weather was taking a turn for the worse. the thunderstorm is getting pretty loud

And I am a little worried That if we get stuck in between the two towns It could be, not the most ideal situation. Either we leave now and get stuck in the storm, Or we can just stay at this bar, And maybe have a couple beers.

They said that they had some hail in Karlovy Vary, And like storm and heavy rain So um…let’s have a beer and Let’s go! As you can see We had a few more beers But we finally decided it was time to go We were only a few kilometers in,

When we came across Svatošské Skály, This awesome granite rock formation It was absolutely breathtaking and looked exceptionally good Right after the rain. So we stopped here, and took some photos, And had some fun We could have stayed there all day But we wanted to get to Karlovy Vary before dark

So we jumped back on the bikes And made our way to our final destination. We finally arrived to the famous spa town. It was really beautiful, And it was the largest city we had seen on the journey thus far It had very nice, European architecture

But unfortunately we were too tired to fully enjoy it. So we headed right to the hotel. My legs are jello. We made the 61 kilometers, made it to Karlovy Vary. Of course, the last few kilometers Were nothing but hills So, hopefully we are checking into the hotel right now

And if we are lucky the spa is still open. Get cleaned up and get something to eat. So come on! I was exhausted So…No spa for me I went right to bed. On Day 3 We use our first train transfer, meet up with two more bikers, try some bohemian wine,

And sleep in the town of Litoměřice. To see tons of great photos from the journey or to post your own shots be sure to check out these hashtags on Instagram. Don’t leave yet! There is tons of great videos to keep watching. More importantly did you subscribe yet?
