After an easy start on day 1, I went all in on the second day and climbed over mountain passes, visited small fishing villages, cycled around several fjords and found a magnificent free campsite at the end of the day.

  1. Hi Mike. That's cool that they have a warning system in the long tunnels to warn motorists. The scenery in Norway is wonderful. How far is this from where you live in Sweden? I don't know if Peter Kalin of Sweden follows you but he contacted me through Instagram to tell me my latest video was banned in Sweden over a few seconds of a song I used. I'm trying to get that song taken off quickly. That was crazy. Anyway, thanks for sharing another great day of your tour in Norway. Atb, Tony

  2. Norway really is a special place …beautifully captured Mike thanks for taking us along. ? Givin some of the steep climbs and the load that you must have to carry have you ever run out gears? Oh music was excellent…have ever thought to post a soundtrack from your adventures this one was particularly good set the mood beautifully…stay well look forward to next episode Mike👍

ps: I love the little wine bottle at your dinners!!😏

  4. What an awesome watch that was. Stunning scenery, you captured it really well Mike, loved the drone shots of the fish nurseries, and harbours. Looking at the map you had quite a detour to visit Husoy. What a great place to camp as well. Keep well/safe.

  5. Mike,
I just watched episode 2 of your tour and I have to say it was fantastic. The music and photography right from the start was lovely, the scenery remarkable and your skills as videographer have continued to improve. The editing is also great, of course.
When you’re recording yourself speaking on the bike what camera do you use and do you have an attachment to hold it? How do you get such clear sound and images? One question I always wanted to ask you, are you ever lonely on the road? Do you miss traveling with companions?
Mike, thanks so much for sharing your bike touring experience and taking us along with you. When I’m watching these videos I feel like I’m a friend of yours and you’ve just sent me your latest adventure. Take care, have fun and stay safe. Looking forward to the next video.

  6. Thanks Mikael…another great video. Curious what was going on in those shots of the water?? …kinda looked like construction, but maybe commercial fishing? just curios. Thanks again, hope you and family are all well!

  7. Fin film, ser fram emot nästa avsnitt. Cyklade själv på samma vägar sommaren 2019, Helsingfors-Tromsö. Tältplatsen vid Ersfjorden (med ”guld-toan”) var nog en av de bästa på turen. Mycket folk dock i juli, kring 30 tält…

  8. Another great video. I don't remember hearing about Senja but it's unforgettable after watching this. Breathtaking views. Looking forward to the next instalment 👍

  9. what a spectacular and beautiful video, Mike !!
i’ve enjoyed your videos since your trip w/ Darren Alff, from prague to vienna… all of them are inspiring… and, Norway or sweden become my dream destination of my future bike touring now…. since norway/sweden accomodations are expensive, can you give me further info regarding cheap accomodation or available real safe campsite? since bears or wolfs are the first things that i really really want to avoid… many thanks before, Mike…

  10. Hello Mike, Very interesting vlog, Inspired me to Ride touring bike in Norway and Sweeden. I have watched most of your youtube videos. Very interesting. many useful tips. The thing i like is you cook "Penang Curry" using Kara coconut milk. I am also from Penang Malaysia. Maybe if you find coconut milk brand "Rasaku" you must buy, its batter taste from Kara, If you plan to come to Malaysia please contact me. By now since pandemic covid19, I am back to Malaysia. Before this I am staying at Granada Spain, doing tourism business. Take care and wait for a new video from you. Hasta Luego

  11. What a great and simple idea to test the surface by lying down BEFORE you pitch the tent. I cant remember how many times I’ve had to move the tent around because the ground underneath was not flat or level enough.

Also, when you said “see you on the other side” and started riding off, I wanted to shout “no wait, the camera!”.

  12. I almost feel like I am there riding. Watching this for the second time. Wish I was. Your music and video are superb. Can’t wait to see your next adventure in Norway.

  13. What an awesome video and scenery along with great music selections. I'm a relatively new subscriber and really enjoying your bike touring 🙂
