Hello and welcome to the vltava river yep that’s the river that goes through prague but also through other major cities in czech republic for example cesca we have just recently made a video about the city so if you want to guide around the city watch that but today we’re gonna guide you

Along the river we’re not gonna take a boat ride you can do that but we’re gonna ride along on our bicycles and there’s gonna be some cool things we will see along the way ready let’s go after about six kilometers our first stop our first tiny little detour

Is this water canyoning venue to be honest i thought this was like much wilder it looks better on tv but anyhow there’s a pub where you can sit and watch the event if there’s an event there are some events there’s also a campsite where you can camp and you can rent

Any of the water equipment related to water so you can try it for yourself but we’re gonna head further north because there’s more cool things to see we can already see our next stop which is the hubuka castle and it’s only five kilometers away on this beautiful

Path along the river and we’re both loving it stop where we stopped and you can as well especially if you have kids is this sports area where somebody is just digging a hole with a digger let’s do it again i’ll tell him to stop next spot where you can stop and we did

As well is this sports area with climbing with a beach volleyball ground with baseball playground and especially if you have kids i think they’re going to love it and they’re going to force you to stop on your way we’ve arrived to robocanadu to the docks under the beautiful castle

If you’ve never seen it it is absolutely stunning and you should go up there americans usually refer to it as it’s like disneyland well no disneyland is like the luboca castle but we’re going to continue on along the river still biking our way to the north and we’re going on the cycle path

Number seven and just in case you’re not fans of biking you can take one of these boats between bujeta the big city and here rebuka the beautiful cast We parked our bikes and our next stop is we’re here and ferata is a secured climbing path and this is the longest one in czech republic uh above water 550 meters long let’s check it out can we trust these people so this was not planned but i am going to climb the ferrata

And if you’re wondering where to get these things you can rent them in the area in the sports area where we were in lubbock with all the playgrounds and you can also set an appointment with a pro climber that would guide you through which is exactly what i did so that’s why tomas

Is here i’m scared but you look like don’t worry okay it’s really fun it will be fun okay My shoelace got untied leap of faith absolutely loved it man it was awesome thanks so much we’re getting off the main path because our next stop is carlos radek You may have heard that czech republic is the land of castles well it is this is the charles castle named by charles iv he supposedly built it before 1357 when is the first mentioning of this castle so we have the charles bridge and here they have charles castle it was strategically

Located right by the river so he could or somebody who was at the castle watch the boats go by and eventually charge them for tolls for passing by uh gothic amazing right And we’re here in our final destination this is tina not voltavo after our marathon ride because it was exactly 42.7 kilometers not difficult thanks to the e-bikes uh you can charge them here in the info center while you’re there you can check out their underground and also uh their museum where they have

Something called botavin which is maldivite uh an origin stone from a meteorite that fell here in this area and people look for them so you can check out what they look like but we’re gonna look for a place to eat because we’re super hungry So that was our trip our ride along the voltava river here in the south bohemian region we did use the e-bikes which helped a lot and by the way they might have been powered by the electricity created by the famous nuclear power plant emeline that you will be able to see on your

Trip if you come here but keep in mind you can also use the boats to ride on the river as we mentioned we partnered for this video with south bohemian region visit south bohemia you can check out their instagram and we will try to squeeze as much information as possible into the description

Below all the links for the information or question that may pop in your hat after watching this video me and jonza absolutely loved the trip from cesca bulliota to here tina nadwell tavo and if you’re more curious about the city of cesca we have a video about it and we highly

Suggest you to visit this region for more than just a day because there’s plenty of things to do as we just proved to you today that’s it we’re the honest guys thank you so much for watching if you subscribe to our channel it will make us happy and if you visit this place

It will make us even happier and i’ll see you next week and a czech word at the end is not czech but south bohemian word and it is picador picador is a hot dog picador hotdog

  1. Subbed and addicted to your videos! We’re taking our first trip to Czechia in September for a couple weeks and are very excited! Maybe you’ve already done this but could you make a video about what kinds of jobs there are for English speakers other than teaching and what the process of moving to Czechia is like? Thanks and keep up the great content!

  2. My husband is from South Bohemia – we haven't been able to come back to see family since 2019 ❤️ this made me feel very homesick for Cz

  3. Czech Republic seems beautiful. I think the country should open up to tourists more. Rather than being Conservative they should use a second language like English in all their road signs and restaurants to help tourists navigate easily. Czech can be a tourist hotspot in summer like Switzerland
