And a very good morning to you and I am on a trip I’ve been riding about 10 minutes so far so I thought I’d stop and start the camera and I’ll talk you through what is happening over this weekend so I am on a trip up to uh the
North um Darlington area and I shall stop off at York to visit the Viking Center on the way and um I am on a Triumph 900 and uh right off the bat I would like to say a big thank you to uh Superbike Warehouse in great yoth the link is in
The description below for Lending me this bike for the weekend to do a demonstration review longterm long-term long ride review this weekend I should be hitting about 700 miles so we shall give this bike a very good test and see how it rides on back roads nighttime day day time uh
Motorways etc etc see how it fares as a long journey Rider should we say well long journey Rider in a short period of time so uh don’t be alarmed by the service due light um it’s not due for another 2,800 M and I’m not going to be doing that much however they have
Service to bike for me as a matter of course because I am going on a decent Journey um it’s a 70 plate Triumph Tiger 900 um and it’s just had its first mot so uh that’s all good um one advisory is um in the next few thousand miles the front brake pads
Could do with looking at and that’s it now as you know or you may not know I used to have the uh 2013 Triumph Tiger 1215 Explorer I absolutely adored that bike um I got rid of it because it was massively heavy 270 OD kilos with the um luggage
On and this is considerably lighter and I shall put up some uh specs on the um side here and as you may notice I’ve also got the car pide motorcycle Dash which I did a review on a few weeks ago that is on here as well so we should be
Seeing how that fares that’s connected to my phone and that will be uh letting us know the journey a great little tool much better than having your phone down on the handlebars and much cheaper than buying a dedicated satinav because obviously it’s your phone as well so it can connect to your
Bluetooth um now this tiger is the as I say 900 rally Pro so I’ve got nov Ties on this it be interesting to see how they ride on the road I do love a Triumph it is quite blustery this morning I’ve got a bit of a side wind
Going on and uh checking the weather I shall be chasing the rain hopefully I won’t catch it up but also a bit of rain behind me hopefully that won’t catch me up but we shall see now this bike comes with heater grips heated seat um all the mod cons that you could
Imagine uh I like the electric start on this uh much more modern than my Triumph and it’s very comfortable nice and light as well especially in comparison to uh my 1215 and still got plenty of torque when we get the other side of the roundabout I shall uh accelerate quite sharply and
You will see how rapid it is great visibility out of the mirrors I got a tiny bit of arm but nothing to write home about um I have got my 42 L 46 L sorry gy top box on the back here as well which is loaded up and I am sporting an
Orange backpack obviously all right I’m in third gear 30 m hour let’s see how this does easy easy as you would imagine from a Triumph or any bike that’s 900 C really effortless beautiful smooth gorgeous gear change I love this bike and I’ve only ridden it for 15 miles so
Far that’s what we like clear roads great visibility from these LED lights and I have to say I missed my Triumph I love this nice command and comfortable position good engine braking I do like a t Speed Triple you don’t get as much engine braking as you
Would L say on a um v twin but uh you get enough these triple engines are superb I do like them sensor front tire well I pumped it up myself I’m not concerned about the front tire I pumped it up myself um I haven’t reset the tire monitors I might do
That why absolutely no reason one car over there I hate this roundabout ever since they put traffic lights in here of the 30 y years I’ve been driving and riding not once did I ever get stopped at this roundabout before these lights went in not once no one had any issues there was
Never any accidents here not that I can remember however since they put the traffic lights in it’s just caused ridiculous Mayhem on Sundays honestly progress what a bloody joke I am going to cycle through the menu in a minute and see if I can reset these tire pressure
Monitors have a play whilst we’re riding oh heated seat no turn that off don’t want that W fog lights interesting do I turn them on I do like a fog light yes let’s have them oh they look cool right let’s have a look at the what we
Got here oh hello right we got options Road sport Offroad Rider rain we’ll stick to Road as we’re on it all right what we got here all right okay so stop motorcycle immediately it’s a bit dramatic isn’t it now I checked these and I put 34 in the front as the manual suggests
Um let’s see if it uh front PSI not registering really so I’ve got no air in the front tires then is that what you’re saying well I think I’d know maybe the tire pressure monitor needs looking at can I reset it 83 mil of the gallon average 50 that’s good 50 m to
The gallon from a 900 CC 101 M range of fuel duration I’ve been going 13 minutes connect headsets no don’t need to do that but thanks for the option oh I haven’t reset the clock they put a brand new battery on it for me oh you can uh connect all sorts oh
3,700 RPM don’t need that style oh hello let’s have a a look at the Styles does look any different to the other one right no don’t like that so basically just lowers the oh okay no I don’t like that either oh hello o this a bit bit yellow
Um oh okay right Auto yeah we’ll stick to Auto front tire low it’s not low at all GoPro music music volume oh it’s all sorts of stuff you can have here all right let’s stick to the number one style cuz I like that I quite like the yellow we’ll have the
Yellow and uh yeah we’ll leave it at that you joined me in Kings Lin it’s halfast 6 in the morning so there we go the Triumph Tiger 900 good I’ve just stopped at McDonald’s for a coffee and possibly a sausage and egg McMuffin yes I will have one of those or
Do I wait for a laby and get a nice burger and a cup of tea I’ll do both anyway good morning to you and uh stay tuned for more right here we go now one thing I’ve learned from owning the Explorer 1200 is that the fuel gauge
Does not show up straight away so when you fill up with fuel it shows the last setting it had so what I mean by that is if you had like one bar fuel left it will do that and then it takes about a mile to sort itself out when you ride
Because it’s electronic fuel gauge so in about a mile it should start creeping up to exactly how much fuel we’ve got I have reset the clock now um You can only use the menu to change the clock and settings like that when the bike is stationary you can’t do it whilst
Riding that’s the home button here and as you can see my fuel gauge is now gone up now I have to be careful here because it’s average speed cameras blah blah blah boring booring booring not that I would speed of course but I shall use the cruise control here and set it
To 58 M hour in this 60 limit now I do have the spanner light on as I say this service has been done but uh the service light hasn’t been reset but it’s not over its service yet but I’ve got my little Hazard warning light down there um I have checked there’s
Nothing wrong with the bike whatsoever but of course it’s doing that simply because it needs a service so it seems to throw up lots of uh lights on this bike um it did say when I was uh getting low on fuel I had 65 M worth of fuel
Left and after a couple of Corners sitting at 60 M hour I had um 58 mil of fuel left after just one mile of travel so at this stage I’m going to tell you one thing I love about this bike and one thing I don’t like about it
Let’s start with a negative shall we and end on a positive so so far I do not like when you’re sitting at 7 mph with cruise control on when you take the cruise control off by dabbing the brake and I mean lightly dabbing the brake so it just turns the
Cruise control off the engine braking lunges the bike forward I shall demonstrate that on a dual carriageway in a little while if you’re doing something like 60 M an hour it doesn’t really make a massive difference it gradually slows down but at 70 in sixth gear it sort of lunges the bike forward
With the engine braking I don’t really like that one thing I love is just how easy the bike is to ride absolutely simple Pleasant in every way I would have to say so far but of course I’ve only been doing 100 no not even 100 how many miles
Have I done let’s have a look on the trip I have done so far on my trip come on 79.8 mil and I’ve been riding for an hour and a half that’s including my stop of course so yeah so far a very pleasant ride indeed and I’ll be back shortly with some more Updates well the time is is now quarter 8 I’m in the middle of nowhere just outside Newark where the A7 meets the A1 and I’ve just had breakfast I hope you can hear me over the traffic but I’ve just had breakfast and usually when you’ve had breakfast you come out of there thinking
That was nice I feel full and I do feel full but I also feel as though I’m just 750 lighter monitory wise and that’s because there’s nothing good about eating a sausage and thinking I can taste all the wheat in this sausage I opted for no bacon because
Usually in these cafes they go for the cheap smoked bacon and I’m not in to smoke bacon so I asked for sausages so I got four sausages two eggs fried bread and toast bit of bread overload as far as I’m concerned and beans which certainly weren’t HDs the tea was nice
So anyway bike is performing well one thing I’ve noticed is that uh trums are a bit OV exaggerative with their lights now as you know I had uh the service light on because they’ve serviced it but they haven’t reset the light yet um it’s not due for a service for another 2,000 mil
Or more anyway um but when the oranging service light comes on you also get the little oranging trying angle with the exclamation mark in the corner now because there’s something going on with that front tire pressure monitor and it’s not quite working right um that keeps coming up so every now and then
After I restart the bike after I’ve ridden for a few miles it flashes up and then that little orange triangle goes red almost like if you don’t stop now you’ll die kind of attitude and there’s a red triangle with a red exclamation mark and it’s only because the tire
Pressure light has come on because it can’t find the sensor in the front wheel my any complaint so far other than that glorious anyway let’s move on cuz it’s chilly I have noticed as well that I started off this morning at 5:00 72° on the coast as I’ve driven more Inland it’s now
6° colder anyway let’s move On as you can see this pulls really nicely now what you’ll see as I’ve just stopped and started the bike you will see the little tire pressure thing come up in a minute and that little triangle will turn red just a very exciting bike getting very excited and throwing on lights
Everywhere but I’m now coming up to York and uh the bike is uh lovely it’s a fantastic ride it does remind me of my old Triumph however I would say the seat is not as comfortable as my Explorer was it’s not massive difference but it’s
Just not twice as comfy now I’m going to hold on the brakes I’m going to sit at 70 in a minute and I’ll show you what I mean by those brakes doing the lunging forward on the engine braking let me see if I can hit 70 on this du
Carriageway I’ve got 4 miles or 4.6 miles before I have to turn off okay so also because you’ve got this Touch button um indicator thing you have to sort of push it extra hard to make sure you’ve got it on I You’ got a green flashing light on there doesn’t take much at
All a couple of times I have pushed this the little stalk to do the menu rather than the indicator but it’s just getting used to where it is all right so I’m going to set the saav now at 70 we go along and then I’m going to tap
The brake as I’m going to turn off the traction control and you’ll see the engine braking as it lunges there in three two one tap ooh that lunges forward let it slows right down on the engine braking I’m not a fan of that at 60 M an hour you don’t really get
It so I’ll show you that pull in here sit at 60 M hour and put the traction control on so it’s at 60 as you touch the brake it still does the engine break but not as drastic as you do get when you’re at 70 mph and
That for me is just a slight annoyance should we say not a massive fan of that engine breaking lunge what I do like sit 63 car wants to pull out open it up and you’re out of his way very simply in sixth gear beautiful so I’m now at my halfway point in
Darlington I’m at my son’s house with his uh better half and um I’ve given you a 300 mile update on the journey so far well I have to say I like it a lot I like the bike a lot I do like triumphs I’ve always liked triumphs I loved my
Explorer and I miss that is it as good as the Explorer bear in mind that explor was a 2013 yes in some ways no in others now yes because it’s a lot lighter I mean a lot lighter it feels nicer to ride however the seat is not as comfortable
The suspension for me set set up as it is is quite spongy so when you slam on the brakes you really do dive when you stop you sort of Bounce a little bit um however you can adjust the suspension and and uh the rear preload you can
Adjust overall it rides really nicely I love the dash nice clear precise Dash takes a couple of bits of getting used to it’s it’s a f minute job just to get used to the menus and knowing that you can’t change anything on the main menu on the home button on the right hand
Switch gear unless you’re stationary and it’s out of gear so you can’t do anything um on that menu until you’re stopped once you’ve got used to that no problems whatsoever the tires bear in mind they’re sort of endur esque tires no problems at all um there is an
Issue issue issue with the tire pressure monitor on the front of that and that is that it doesn’t seem to work so it seems to keep throwing up these areas every now and then going oh danger you’re going to crash and die apparently but you’re not so uh once that’s sorted out
But that’s just a tire pressure monitor problem once that’s replaced no problems at all I checked the tires before I left and the tires are fine so no dramas there overall I really do like the bike uh it’s very smooth on the gear change
The seat as I say after 300 miles I was getting more of an ache not numbness I’ve got no feedback I’ve got no buzziness anywhere so nothing through the handlebars nothing through the foot pegs it’s comfortable enough however I’ve got a little bit of of our sake
After 300 miles but that just might be me being practically knocking on the door of 50 I don’t know I no longer have the other Triumph to compare with so uh I mean overall I prefer this simply because of the weight it’s just so much lighter and so much easier to maneuver
Whereas the other one was so cumbersome but on a longer Journey the Explorer was lovely because it was very smooth I mean you’ve still got a lot of the features like youve got cruise control on this you’ve got the heated grips but on that red is usually the hottest now on
My Explorer I had to have it on the minimum and I was comfortable even that was a little bit too warm after a while and I had to turn it off this on the hottest setting is like lukewarm you can just feel it so not as powerful as the
My old Explorer ones however you still got heated seats you’ve still got uh heated grips you’ve still got the cruise control you’ve got Brembo brakes now um fantastic brakes pull up really sharply I like the suspension there isn’t really a lot I don’t like about it um the only
Thing I really don’t like and it does bug me a little bit is when you’re on cruise control and as I said before you’re doing 70 M hour when you dab the brake and I mean likely dab the brake to take it off cruise control the engine braking makes it
Go that’s quite severe and I don’t think it needs to be that severe I think it should be more subtle at 60 MPH you don’t really notice it but at 70 it’s a little bit severe for my liking but that’s just a minor niggle to be honest now I’ve got the journey back
Tomorrow I should be going back I’m going a slightly different way so I’ll be doing a little bit more miles so in total we’ll be looking at about 700 miles and I’ll fill you in on how I’m feeling at the end so stay tuned for a bit more riding
And I’ll see you at the end of The Journey right so I’ve been riding this morning for I said this morning it’s now lunchtime been riding for 2 and 1/ half hours and I’ve done about 130 miles just stopped off for some fuel near Newark and uh I can honestly say the
Bike is doing really really nicely it rides really well whether it’s rain sunshine or whatever I mean bear in mind I’m on knobbly tires I thought that was going to be a bit of an issue in all this pouring rain but no it’s been doing really really well to be honest I don’t
Like rain and a lot of you that know the channel will know I don’t like rain I hate it don’t like riding in Rain there’s nothing enjoyable about it you got to get all your gear on I mean I have to say I am dry apart from my
Feet so these armor boots are usess because I’m currently standing in a swimming pool of water sprayed up from all the other cars and trucks and all the persisting rain that’s coming down however I can’t tell if my left testicle is wet or cold and my ass is a bit sore from that
Saddle so I would say if I was to own this bike I would definitely get one of those gel pads to go on but other than that I’m feeling quite comfortable to be honest the bike is performing superbly really pleased with that touch wood there’s wood and uh yeah I’m pleased with how
It’s going oh every time I move squelch squelch yeah these armor boots have lost their waterproofing over the past few years I don’t know how waterproof they were in the first place maybe if I’m going to do some more of these I need better boots but this all-in-one ROM Pursuit is
Doing well from Oxford and of course my jacket is bone dry underneath and even if I wasn’t wearing that I’d be confident that I’d be dry anyway but yeah there we go really enjoying the bike enjoying the time on it bearing in mind it is chucking down my rain but yeah performing
Nicely I’ve come into a um a blocked off car park which had little opening which used to be some kind of Hall I don’t know what’s going on there I don’t know what that used to be Windows been smashed here nice I don’t know what used to be in there or what that used to be at all no idea some kind of Hotel don’t know see if it says on the front oh it’s raining I shouldn’t be out in the rain I might melt [Applause] no no
Idea so yes I’ve just popped in to stay dry for a second but I am going to stop off and get myself a coffee was a waitr here really fancy of waitr quite fancy of McDonald’s I think or other takeaways are available and I might get a Starbucks latte other takeaway
Drinks are available also or as Andy would say last week lty you want a lty I don’t know what he said do I want a what a ly Oh you mean a latte yes I’ll have one of those please love the jordis don’t you very friendly loving people brilliant but
Yeah so here we are in the porn rain enjoying a bike the last time I did that I was with mck xans in Wales shucking Dam rain but I absolutely loved it I don’t think it matters if you’re on the right bike and you’re on the right
Journey I mean it doesn’t help that unfortunately I’ve been doing Motorway all the way oh and on a point of that I have made an observation and that is I know the four-wheeled motorized vehicle users have always had a bit of a beef with the two- wheeled motorized vehicle
Users but a lot of people I’ve know noticed in traffic don’t tend to pull over for bikers as much as they used to now um coming down we hit 3 miles of crawling sort of two or three M hour traffic crawling and I was filtering through what maybe 10 mil an hour and
The amount of people that just didn’t pull out of the way I’m not saying I’m entitled for them to do that but you know why would I sit in traffic in the pouring rain on a bike when I can filter through quite happily as bikers do and
Are perfectly legal to do for some reason the police had closed the road for I don’t know a fallen Acorn or something but um whil I was filtering through the traffic so many people just didn’t pull out of the way and there was quite a few
And I have to say most of them were VW owners feel my phone is ringing my wrist is vibrating but yeah VW owners would actually pull to the left to close the gap to not let me through why jealousy perhaps I don’t know but and on another
Note and this is not being sexist in any way it’s an observation the amount of people I had my satnav not my satnav my cruise control set at 70 mph and I was just sitting there 70 M hour uphill downhill whatever doesn’t matter the amount of
People that overtake me and then pull in and then slow down to the state that I had to pull out and overtake them without adjusting my speed whatsoever and every every single time I kid you not it was a um a person of the pherx now take from that what you
Will but just an observation anyway going get some food see told you other food and drink was available gone for a ham and cheese toasty and a Costa Coffee so yeah so I am back and showered bikers away etc etc and how did it go well unfortunately
Because of the rain there is no point me getting the camera out because You’ just see rain on the lens so trust me it was wet a lot now yesterday I did uh about 370 mil I think in the total um cuz I
Went up and I went West a bit and then I went back and then up north further more um today was just a ride back so in total just under 700 miles but the bike performed superbly very pleased with it didn’t miss a beat lovely bike great to
Ride just a couple of things that niggle me about it bearing in mind I’m comparing it to my old 2013 Explorer 1215 tiger thingy um coming back I had rain constantly um my Oxford ROM Pursuit kept me nice and dry and as did my uh lightning storm jacket back on sale
Again very soon however the armor boots I could have been wearing moccasins because my feet were like I was walking around in little paddling pools all the time just awful not happy with that whatsoever but the bike that’s the main thing well I I love how light it is it feels
So easy to get up on its tires off the stand to get on to maneuver it’s just brilliant that’s the best thing about it for me over the 1215 just how light it is in comparison um one thing I didn’t really like and I
Think I said it earlier I know I said it earlier and that is the cruise control to no cruise control so you’re sitting at 70 M hour you dab the brake very lightly and the cruise control comes off as it should but the bike lunges right forward with the
Engine braking and I didn’t really like that the tires really surprised now they’re in dururo esque type tires um it’s a rally Pro so it’s got rallyes tires Mitchell on the back and a twin Juro on the front and they performed superbly no issues whatsoever um obviously I wasn’t leaning her over and
Getting my knee down on Corners cuz one I don’t do that and two it’s the wrong style of bike and three it was wet and I didn’t want to push my luck but riding normally no problems whatsoever really impressed with those tires it pulled really I’m pleased with that 900 engine
Uh I love a triple anyway but it’s got oodles amount of torque it gets up to speed so well the suspension setup on that bike I think would need adjusting if it’s used on the road a lot more because it feels a very bouncy and when you change gear it’s
But that’s just down to the adjustment um so set it up for how you ride perfect now this bike is for sale I’ll put a link for the description below from Super Bike Warehouse in the description so go and check it out and it rides lovely really pleased with it I love the
Bike the other thing that I was not impressed with was the heated grips on my Explorer there’s uh three levels of heat on the grips I used to have it on the minimum and after a while my hands would sweat and I’d have to turn it off this the
Entire Journey was on the maximum and some of the times I thought oh has it turned itself off because I just couldn’t feel it other times it was warm and it’s hard to tell because it wasn’t really cold it was just wet so I don’t know if it was just me
Would have had freezing cold hands if I didn’t but I didn’t have cold hand so that was a good thing but I just thought it would have been warmer I didn’t really feel the heat through the bars that I thought I would have done and that’s really about it overall the bike
Is brilliant 70 plate bike performs lovely rides well sounds good nice and smooth gear change is sweet as anything and uh yeah that’s all I’ve got to say the trip was good I say 700 miles over 2 days is um quite a decent mileage I think and and um said the bike didn’t
Let me down one little bit not that I expected it to to be fair but um it performed exactly as it should and uh the only other thing was that little front tire sensor uh just to stop the little over anxious triangle coming up going you’re going to die if you don’t
Sort this out now Triumph being a bit excitable about their red warning triangle other than that no issue whatsoever I mean these are something obviously I feedback to the um the dealer and I’m sure they’ll sort them out no problem at all and um there you go that’s it I’ve got another trip
Coming up where I’m going over to the West Coast so I’ll see what bike I can BL for that something interesting be nice to do something else I’ll have a look on their website and see if I can NAB another bike from their Fleet and uh do a trip over to
Liverpool and uh yeah that’s it um if you’ve got any comments leave in the comment section below if you’ve got anything else to say say let me know that also and that’s all I’ve got time for so thank you very much for joining me I’ve got some products that have been
Sent recently um I’m waiting for them in the post couple people contacted me saying I’ve designed this new product for a motorbike can I send you one and can you do a review on it and let me know what you think so I’ve got a couple
Of things coming so stay tuned for those also I won’t tell you what they are yet I won’t spoil the surprise but they are Innovations and it’ be nice to sort them or to try them out so stay tuned for for those and other stuff coming also so
Until next time please ride and drive carefully but have fun cheio what was that all about that’s cuz I didn’t have tea in my hand I don’t want to do my hands Look

??? have i seen this video before ??? 🤔
Thankfully you didn't show us the "TESTICLE". 🤣😂🤣😂😭👍👍👍
Don’t know how I’d cope coming up 67 if the seat isn’t up to much,, I’ve been looking at the GT Pro I’m only a bit over 5ft 9 ,this bike I. Would not feel comfortable or safe on its to tall for me ,
Whats better cheapest 50cc riegu or fantic 50 performance supermoto
Invest in over boots have been a game changer. Maybe the engine braking can be adjusted in the user settings ?
