From Pettenbach we cycle along the Traunviertelradweg (R13) and the Kremstalweg (R10) to Linz and then along the Danube river. North of Linz there were no campgrounds and all hotels were closed so we camped in a meadow close to Habruck.

We are leaving the campsite Almtal Riding along the castle It is 9 am, we’re on the road Next stage, heading to Linz Views on the Alps From Almtal We are now in Kremsmünster First, we’ve followed the Traunviertel cycle route (R13) And accordingly the R10 Kremstal cycle route along the Krems
Very convenient, flat and downhill From Kremsmünster heading north to Linz We will follow the Krems, then the Danube river R10 At the background a castle… Kremsmünster abbey This is the Traun A tributary of the Danube Bikepath along the Traun Very boring, but easy This is the Danube And we came from there
Heading that way, along the Danube Now we’re cycling along the Danube We skip the campground, too early to camp We have cycled 60 km So we can cycle a few hours more… We didn’t manage to find a guesthouse, everything was closed So now we are pitching the tents in a field
Hope we don’t get caught Maybe hunters will come Just before dark, it is 7 pm Pole inside… Well, this is our campsite Somewhere in the fields A big stock of fire wood for the hearth But we cook on gas…
