🚴♂️ Day 7 Update Continued : Breathe For Life Team Cycle Challenge – To Sonning – 27th September 2019. From Sonning to Oxford in the dark. Failing sat navs and torches. The end of an amazing day with an overwheling amount of support.
Join us on an epic journey! 🚴♂️ We embarked on a 1200-mile End to End Team Cycle Challenge across the stunning British Isles. But that ride was about more than just the miles. We were on a mission to tackle lung cancer head-on, especially in non-smokers. Every pedal stroke counted as we raised awareness and vital funds for charities fighting this disease.
Did you know that passive smoking and air pollution are significant risk factors for lung cancer? We weren’t just riding; we were shedding light on local air quality levels by monitoring as we went.
This ride was personal. We honored the memory of our beloved friend, Ruth Strauss, who tragically lost her battle with lung cancer at just 46.
But we weren’t in it alone. We rallied families, friends, and communities to join us. Our goal? To recruit 250+ riders for relay sections and raise £250,000 for The Ruth Strauss Foundation, Alk + Lung Cancer UK, and Friends of the Earth Clean Air Campaign.

Breed Have I Lost You you’re right right it’s all right so we’re on the cyc highway are we tired right we’re going to go over Donnington Bridge yeah and then we take a right turn onto Meadow Lane what looks like just after the bridge about three lengths of the bridge afterwards okay
