Another 2021 video. I think warning letters have their place, and I hope will have chilled this driver’s future impatience.

    1. Doesn't surprise me that any driver doesn't have the patience just to wait about a minute til a cyclists moves away & even more so that they are intending on turning right ! What is the point especially now with so many dashcams & bike cams around ! Their intelligence must be well at the bottom of the barrel !!

    2. Driving over the top of a roundabout, just inches away from someone on a bike?
I'd say that really should be classified as dangerous driving, and punished accordingly.
If she wasn't aware of the roundabout then she shouldn't be driving, and if she was aware of the roundabout and just decided to drive over the top of it then she shouldn't be on the road.
Just receiving a warning letter sends out the wrong message in my opinion.

    3. Well done for taking the trouble to report him. 👍
No longer sure how long this stays on file – I think it used too be a year but others may be better informed than I. 🤔

    4. At video time 33s. What is the rule for cyclists giving car drivers a gap when undertaking stationary vehicles? Car drivers overtaking cyclists are to give at least a 1.5 metre gap. It seems to be fine for cyclists to try and squeeze through the smallest of gaps providing they don't break door mirrors, and if they do come a cropper it with automatically be the car drivers fault.
You only just managed to pull across the front of the Renault Kadjar (LV65NMA) as the lights changed. Improve your riding and stop putting car drivers at risk.

    5. Mini roundabouts suck for cycling. All too often approaching cars, do not slow down for the cyclist; and when you are on them, you can get overtaken. The scariest as when you are turning right and they decide to overtake you –even when they are going straight on. Then there’s the MGIF as you approach the roundabout and a car turning left want to get past.

They are an attempt by traffic planners to spread the priority of access to a junction across all lanes, -and to do so, in more efficiently than a set of traffic lights-but they encourage bad driving. Really bad for pedestrians, too

    6. Amazes me how cyclists want cars to pass with like a 4 or 5 foot gap, yet will then happily cycle in the gutter, in a 10 inch gap between the car and kerb. Bizarre.
Cyclists constantly moan about 'not enough space', yet then squeeze within inch of a car, riding in the gutter where they also claim they shouldn't have to ride.
      You want it both ways.
And before you all pile in with your armchair analyses, I am a cyclist, a motorcyclist, a HGV driver and a PSV driver myself; I do not do go up the inside of cars on a bike, because I'm not a hypocrite.
Any vehicle in a lane , has possession of that entire lane and by definition is theirs to move about in; much the same way militant cyclists demand they have possession of a lane and go mental if a car enters it.

Light the blue touch paper and retire…

    7. And don't even start me on the "new" rules regarding giving way to pedestrians at a junction (such as the exit from a roundabout with no pedestrian crossing facilities.)
Supposed to give way but to do so is suicidal when a 2.5 tonne Range Rover is behind you and won't stop.

    8. YET AGAIN MORE INPATIENT MORONS WITH ZERO CONCERN FOR ANYONE ELSE’S SAFETY BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVERYONE ELSE. TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE OUT THERE MIKEY 👍🫡
