    Hello everyone hope you’re doing well it’s time to have a look at the SMS Baden in game since it is on the live server now the SMS baen is the uh event ship that’s coming in uh the vehicle itself uh you’re going to have to get eight stages of the Imperial Flagship

    Event which starts on the 14th in order to get this thing uh so that’s pretty much how it’s working very similar to how you’ve seen other events uh such as the s of Justice event which have popped up and then also others which are around the place the SMS baen is very similar

    To the Bayon which is already in the game it is because it’s also a Bayon class there’s not really much difference between them so if you like that machine or if you want to research that machine but don’t want to research through the tree this is of course a good deal you

    Have four GE mounted 380 mm guns right here on either side and also six 16 single 150 mm in the sides here too with eight each side and then also uh to back that up you have four 88 mm which are sat uh here and here so two on each side

    The AA that’s your AA Guns by the way so not really going to do too much with uh that setup but if you’re familiar with the Bayon class you know how all of these things are sorted you know the only thing right now that’s interesting ing is uh the core bunkers are still

    There giving a ton of protection to this thing and also at the same time you have the Torpedoes in the front the 88 mm ones with a h8 torpedo tube here and then also you have these here the Torpedoes actually on the front are labeled as an 88 mm

    Cannon so that’s kind of interesting um I don’t know why that is they actually have exactly the same name as the AA turrets set up here so a little bit of a bug uh on this vehicle kind of fun and then uh also you have massive magazines

    For these guns uh front and back and then also a little bit here and there in the centers for the 150s 2 the reload on the main caliber guns is 2.3 rounds per minute which isn’t exactly great but it’s not the worst around the place I’d say it’s generally fine if you compare

    It to a lot of other battleships and also so the 150s have an okay reload too and the secondaries they do a pretty good job at pumping out damage taking out some smaller machines and also just doing damage to the larger ones too you have two massive smoke funnels uh which

    Cover the engined decks which are here all Little Engines all linked together then of course the huge Transmissions to power this thing around the baen isn’t exactly fast um it’s not something that I would class as is you know very quick around the place but at least it has a

    Bit of propulsion you’ve also got the rangefinders which are built into the turrets you can see how poor this measuring accuracy actually is on the 380 mm uh but also you can improve that uh with the improved range finder modification once you have it modified

    But 79% at least to start with is very very rough uh so definitely not too fun to uh sort out the 150s have the same kind of Rangefinder too as well so until you get the Improvement it’s going to kind of suck you also have the steering

    Gear and of course the propeller shafts at the back so uh definitely a bit rough in that regard too and uh the armor on this thing which is uh I suppose the uh major factor that we haven’t had a look at yet you have a 350 mm belt which has

    A 250 mm belt above it plus some coal bunkers once again to keep this thing from taking damage the cold bunkers are super useful as kind of an additional armor set you also have 200 mm in the front and 200 mm in the back the ammo elevators themselves have 350 mm on them

    And the front of the turrets have 352 so it’s pretty well armored and um the only area that isn’t really is this blister area with7 mm alongside of it but you should be fine the bridge itself has 350 as well so all all of the key areas have

    The Maximum Armor that you can get access to there’s also 30 mm to try and protect from bombs and also other stuff like that uh since this thing doesn’t have a lot of AA on it or any AA then it’s going to need that protection um in

    A lot of the uh general areas so not too shabby the guns themselves are 380 mm have access to a standard shell of semi armor piercing shell which is actually not bad for a starter shell there’s a lot worse default shells around it’s a sap shell

    And it pens up to 458 mm which is really nice has a lot of explosive Mass 6 67.1 kilos of explosive Mass behind it so a lot and then the APC uh BC which you can actually unlock a rank one here so it won’t take you too long to get uh pens

    Nearly 600 mm and also has 25 kilos of explosive Mass which is lovely uh overall a pretty powerful round uh which is going around the place the 150s you have a stock H shell with 1.6 kilos of explosive Mass you also have an SCP BC shell with 1.05 nearly 100 mm of pen

    Then the apcbc which nearly has 250 and also nearly 1,000 well a kilo I suppose of explosive Mass so until you get that round which is this one you’re not really going to be Penning too much of this level but once you get it you should be able to go through some things

    Which will be nice uh the primary Armament targeting is definitely needed on this thing the turrets themselves are super slow you can see that 2.6 de per second going to take a long time to be able to get these turrets onto Target and of course the improved Rangefinder

    Is a must as well I will also say the Torpedoes on this thing so out of the front and out of the back uh they’re a lot better than other uh kind of World War I Torpedoes I’ve seen you can see here that the 600 mm h8 torpedo only

    Goes 6 km but if you get the torpedo mode it can go an extra 8,000 M so overall going 14 km which still might be not long enough to be able to engage a lot of machines but I’ve got to be honest that’s so much better than many

    Others that I’ve seen around the place for example the Italian ones I remember on the dev server they went 2 km which is just no good you also have all of the other standard modifications nothing too crazy uh in that regard and uh the other thing is you can get a unique tricolor

    Camouflage if you uh grind enough stages in the event but it also has access to the standard three camouflages that you get from all of these types of vehicles and I think they look nice you know I I really like this kind of green black and

    White one definitely brings out a lot of the standard stuff in the ship so not too shabby at all so yeah looking at the vehicle like it it looks completely fine it’s very similar to what we’ve seen before so either people aren’t going to be happy with it because it’s too

    Similar or people are going to be comfortable with it because it’s similar and as a vehicle as an event vehicle I mean I wish there was uh maybe a little bit more uh kind of interest in it uh from you know kind of gajin point of

    View it would have been nice to get something which was slightly uh more I suppose different or unique instead of just the same thing kind of copy pasted I really don’t see much difference between this and the standard Bayon um if I’m honest it seems exactly the same

    But maybe I’m just missing stuff you know which definitely does happen um when I’m looking around these things the guns themselves will be able to do enough damage especially with the targeting speed and everything else will be fine on it the question you just have to ask

    Yourself is is it worth it and for me I think it is especially since I don’t have the 7 O’s for Germany yet it’ll be a nice thing to kind of just get into and have a bit of fun with but for others who are already at the battleship

    1. When you say you are covering the event, but do not give ANY event details. What are the multipliers for the different ranks… I'm at work and can't just go look

    2. My issue is with these so-called new bugs or features of the new update that have somehow ruined my naval experience. Examples:
      For no reason, without receiving any hits, I must constantly press 7 for repairs.
      The SKRs have been nerfed through slowing down their reloading.
      All ships get almost one shot killed after receiving a few hits.
      In many cases, a single shot literary takes around 20% of health/crew.

      Edited:
      Lower than BR 4.0 Coastal vessels have become good for nothing.
      In every battle get uptiered and as a 4.3 to 4.7 destroyer have to deal with 5.7 cruisers.

    3. Quick question what is that in-game system on the top left it's new and I've never seen it before ,with close inspection it shows you the boats angle of movemnt and speed which is very cool and will make my father who is a naval main more happy because of the realistic technology
