Evening and welcome to Edinburgh tonight I am getting the only British sleeper train from Edinburgh in Scotland right down to London in England the time now is 14 minutes 10 I’m on time for a change the train leaves edra at 11:40 p.m. and arrives into London at 7:15

A.m. the Train’s just under 8 hours having done a few trains in a few different countries recently I thought has the UK got a sleeper train and it turns out it has right so in front of me here we have got Edinburgh train station I don’t think this is the train station

Here but it’s underground it’s basically under that I tell you what though it is chilly in Edinburgh I don’t think I’ve ever got the train from Edinburgh before right let’s have a look at this I think this is the main entrance Edinburgh Waverly how are we man are you good I

Closed so the lady said it was a busy train so I’m guessing they’re all occupied I don’t fancy opening one to find someone in there I think this is a different class though because it says Club on these so the four categories on this train you’ve got sea in a classic

Room then you’ve got a club room and then you’ve got the Caledonian Suite excuse me mate what room is this if you don’t mind me asking private cabin I think ah it’s a private cabin so do you have this cabin to yourself or do you have to share with someone you have it

To yourself yes my mom is treating me fair dude enjoy have a good one to be fair that didn’t look too bad that looked quite nice so that guy had a club room which is the second category and then you’ve got the classic which is the third category and the SE seating on

To be fair the seats and the seating Carriage is really nice but to do an overnight train set up 8 hours that’s going to be hard that isn’t it right let’s go back through to this room I tell you what I am well impressed with

Complains that I snore to myself not me hey list what coach are you in there you go I’m in B so if you hear any snoring it’s definitely not me I tell you what though this Train’s not cheap is it 4 cost us for 400 200 each we no no no

We’re not coming back on it it cost you 400 for one way I can’t be right can it I paid 360 for a double I booked it like yesterday prices go all over the place really yeah there a you you got a double bed yes sir was

None available when I booked it and when did you book February you booked yours in February and there was no double available so would that be because maybe there’s a cancellation then absolutely every time you go on you get a different answer ours cost us £375

£375 one way for two people but you pay for the room not per person right on the 21st of January 21st of January no but is it’s an experience yeah 100% right I’m goe it’s lovely to meet you both anyway see you later lovely to meet you

Night right so let me give you a tour of this room you ready for this this is actually pretty cool we have got a double bed I’ve never seen a double bed on a train before we’ve got two sleep kits earplugs and masks two of those we’ve got orange chocolate and milk

Chocolate perfect and then we’ve got the room service and the breakfast menu so I need to fill that in and hang that on the door now really I’ll keep that there what’s in this shower gel on top of that we’ve got a sink here we’ve got more hand creams

And shower gels and soaps there we’ve got a pencil there so I can fill that in we got a little bin there here we’ve got the table so I can eat my breakfast in the morning if we look up here we’ve got window light we’ve got the host call for

Room service two plugs two charges and then a handy thing just to basically put stuff in there to charge so it doesn’t fall out and then again same this side we’ve got lights here we’ve got the air con more lights and then the same that side do you know what this is actually

Really good it’s just like a little compact hotel room I’ve actually stayed in hotel rooms probably this size before the only thing I’ve not shown you we’ve obviously got the window for outside there and then in here is the bathroom I’m guessing this is the towels yeah

We’ve got a few towels in there happy days and then if we come into the bathroom obviously we’ve got the shower there then for the toilet you lift that up toilet toilet paper and that stays there this is all right this I’ve been in a lot smaller train toilet in this

Right I need to fill my breakfast in I don’t want to miss that sorry to theuring do you any breakfast in the morning yes I’m literally just filling in the form now yeah just after that put it in hang perfect it’ll literally be there in about 5 minutes no

Feeling I’m going to be fast asleep when they knock on the door with this breakfast right that’s everything let’s get it on the door ready for the morning there we go it’s on the door ready for the morning I’m not quite sure where we are at the

Minute you know what it’s actually quite comfy right how much do you reckon for this room so this is category one first class it’s called the Caledonian suite and this room cost a whopping £360 it’s very expensive let’s be honest you could get a hotel room cheaper than that category 2 is like

£260 Category 3 is still sleeping that’s £200 and then go to category 4 which is the last category which is seated so to set up for the 8 hours it’s like 5060 so again you can get a train in the day that’s a lot quicker than the

Sleeper train that’s like four or 5 hours heading BR to London and to be honest the return is about anywhere between 80 and £100 so to be honest it is an expensive option however obviously by going through the night you’re not losing any time in glass go in the day

And obviously you’re waking up in London in the morning so you’re not wasting any time so I suppose if you’re a business person and you’ve got stuff to do this is great for someone who’s just trying to get from A to B it’s expensive however it is a lovely train and a great

Experience to see if it’s really worth it though I need to see how I sleep in this bed fingers crossed I wake up in time for breakfast right I’m going to hit the deck good night and I’ll see you in the morning wow how do I get this light
