Good morning how you doing everyone welcome back to M head here in Somerset you know this cuz you clicked on the thumbnail as you can see we are fishing from the van one van one shelter as you can see it’s a first of March the weather’s picking

Up it’s pissing down anyway for my first rig today I have got a 6 o gripper to a splash down £50 rig body to a bead a pulley bead a bead to a swivel and a 90b hook length oh look loaded with a squid let’s

Go let’s try and get our first fish on the bank maybe a dogfish you he mate I think fancy that’s down it’s just a nice day fishing from the van nothing fancy simple stuff which we can all do there we are a gentle little flick and we’re fishing welcome Back on a squid bait better put the ratchet on and there we are right let’s do the next one sorry it’s raining I’ve got you in the shelter once it stops raining I’ll get you out you can stretch your legs and you can have a look round with me but

You can watch out rod for now I’ll see in a bit don’t pull the head off grow up keep the head on head is very important on the squid so what I like to do is put a squid on a bait needle we’ve seen this before then I get my bait

Cotton that’s what the older people call it bait cotton or nicker elastic old school then I get my rig which is you know upside down run the wrong way you know me that’s fine bit of a swell It’s because we had a storm last night honestly I was sleeping in the van W it was amazing it was howling it’s raining so hard it couldn’t sleep well that’s fine we’re here a nice comfy Day fishing I’m not at work so I don’t really care

Right yeah just get a couple of squid baits out there for now we’re about two 2 hours 40 from high water so yeah we got a chance we may get dog fish I’m just going to try and get us a few bites but we could get some

Nice Rays at the lower water mark to the L left where I normally fish there has been some spotted and blond Rays After High I’ll probably fish it for about 3 hours down and I may take us out to low but I’m not sure yet but let’s get this

One out in the water it’s about time I put the kettle on and we sat back and done some fishing good morning everyone let’s go nothing fancy I’m just going to get this out there’s no cars behind so I’m safe don’t be power cast in there’s

People out here I’m the only one here I’ve got no cars behind me and it’s totally safe so use your brain if you got one think about other people get out there right I got a bite on the right hand Rod yeah honestly looks like a woer yes

Coming up to high water see if there’s a bass or a a codling anyway that bait is Untouched and there we go that’s some blow Lo what I like to do over the top of the tide and the last bit of the flooding tide I like to cast in just so I’m fishing just on the sand and when the tide turns and starts

Pulling out I try and hit it a bit further but we’re fishing the Sun’s shining I got a friend we’ll get him on camera in a bit he’s been on before he’s just baiting up he’s put his rods right there though no it’s fine he’s walking up and

Casting but yeah we got Max on camera what’s going on there is that a bite did you see that yeah that’s a fish do you see that this is the one I’ve just cast out on the squid ah you see that I was talking to him my rod just RI rained

Yeah hopefully it’s a bass oh man there’s a Fisher I think it’s a bass swimming with me hopefully you got that on camera I think I got a bass well it feels like a bass yeah Max you want to get down I got a bass here I’d say I might just come

On oh it’s come on oh is it a doggy ah man I thought was a bus B fight on the door I got one on there as well now what’s going on I got a bite on this Rod yeah oh there we go I thought I had a BS

I got a fish on that Rod now as well that went off like a bus anyway that’s a dog fish I was just putting that dog fish back I looked around and this Rod’s gone over as well there we are we’re on the fish everyone I’m not sure what this is probably a

Dog on my blow lag First cast on the blow lag it’s the one I’ve just plopped out out there this could be another dog another another dog on there we are on the dogs everyone a dog fast in mine head hey where we’re out fishing and we’re getting bites everyone there is

Another dog fish let’s get him away well we’re on the fish two fish in 2 minutes simple stuff gentle little lobs out towards the rainbow could there be a pot of gold simple stuff unclipped in the air that one unclipped get a blue lug out there

Again so we’re just over high and as you seen we just had two dog fish in a row that can be a sign of high water and that does happen here but sometimes like I said this Mark can check out some really good fish not only dog fish so I’m just going

To keep fishing through it keep putting some baits out there and hopefully I can get this into maybe a bass or a codlin oh a blond Ray formb Ray or maybe a spotted Ray so I’m just changing the worm baits as you know for me blow lug

Probably only lasts about 10 minutes qu of an hour just going to try and put out a double sandal maybe after a ray got a little bit of weight on it here not sure if I picked up a little bit of weed or I don’t know little weight in

Oh no it’s just come off might been a crab kind have something little on here the sun’s still shining I got a little white in woohoo we’ got another species and there we are everyone it just dropped off I want this for bait look at that we’re bagging up in

Mine head three fish and two Gast and if I hold it out it’s still small anyway let’s get this double Sand Hill out there in the sunshine in the rain [Applause] give it a little tickle no one’s around me she goes in that side boom boom

Shakalaka let’s go as I said look around you if no one’s around no cars there you can cast a little bit harder if there’s people on the beach don’t do it as you can see I’m catching fish just overhead fuming I just wanted to get that one a little bit

Further in the tide So Max has got a bike so what I’m going to do is going to commentate for us so you see this man here in my fake David atra voice Max is talking to his camera he’s tightening up his drag it could be a dog fish you

Dogs as you can see we got rain Sun wind snow house stones and um ice we got it all you know what is when we go out fishing we get it all right I’m just going to L this out little flip put it in a doggy hole in a dark

Hole so if you watch my right hand Rod s a bite as you can see we’ve got all weathers we got wind rain Sun hellstone snow fog Mist dark oh that’s not aever um we got everything rainbows Max got a bite I’ve got a bite yeah nice look I’m just bringing you out

Somewhere safe on the Bristol Channel this Mark can check up some amazing fish today granted so far we’ve had bits and bubs but it’s been great great I’ve been out fishing and the catching it’s been fantastic I’ve had about 10 fish now loads of bites yeah it’s nice

Toilets McDonald’s you you know about that Pub if you like that the main thing is it’s really safe so what we’re going to attempt to do now you stay there me and Max are going to wind in a dog fish each all right I don’t think this has been done

To 1:00 now so I’d give it a good 6 hours it’s been safe I’ve caught a few fish we’ve had plenty of bites I’ve spoken to quite a few locals I’ve had some food I’ve used a toilet and I’ve had a good time my name’s Wayne this is
