New 2024 um it started malfunctioning and had a hazard light issue at just 500 miles and um I also have a GoPro video footage that is going to drop when the light came on as I was on the highway and the bike drove fine for the

The next 800 100 something miles but uh yeah I don’t know what it is with you know not even just the electric bikes but Harley-Davidson on these 2024 models are having a lot of issues from the road Glides and just all kind of issues with

The 2024 models and I don’t know we had somebody saying that these bikes are getting you know rushed the production the the build quality just stuff like that man so um we should have an update by this Wednesday right now today is Monday so Wednesday we should have no no

A later update but it’s been two weeks you guys two weeks I do have other bikes y’all know I have multiple gasoline bikes you know um we’re thinking about getting a mt09 we were also looking at a a Iron 883 883 Sportster uh we’re looking at the uh Whata call the Ninja 1000

SX um the mt07 is in the category 2 mt10 maybe um even the the the V the Vulcan s oh I don’t know I just want like a a nice Naked Bike or a cruiser that’s the next bike I want to go for I want another

Bike I can daily um again I don’t like ridy ride my da my daily and my super sports and ride them a lot throughout the week you know those are like kind of my weekend pleasure type of bikes so we do have super sports in the garage and

Right now we’ve already modded the crap out of my 636 we just put a brand new exhaust on so I do have a video of the exhaust video dropping for you guys as well too but um yeah enough of me yapping um we are in the in the market

For a different motor a daily comfortable motorcycle um I don’t know if I’m ready for ready ready for a full-time Cruiser but I do want either a cruiser or like a naked Street sport bike so I’m thinking the m09 um but again they have the 2024

Model coming out in a literally a couple months so I’m thinking about just being patient and waiting for the bike to hit the showroom floor so we’ll see you guys but let’s get into this amazing video can Chinese bikes take over the motorcycle Market in the west let’s

Check it out you guys and again we’ve gotten a ride the CF Moto um the one I wrote was was amazed I think it was the 450 it was an amazing bike it also had a rumble to it too so comment down below what you think and we’re going to get

Into some of these comments towards the end of the video like it or not Chinese motorcycles are coming into Western markets which is what happens or not Chinese motorcycles are coming into Western markets which is what happens when the established companies do not give consumers what they’ve been asking for meanwhile CF

Moto is bringing all kinds of models to the market like the Ibex 450 adventure bike a twin cylinder motorcycle that should be considerably lighter than a 10 700 additionally their 450 CLC seems to be set to challenge the Kawasaki Eliminator and Honda Rebel 500 in the small Cruiser segment the shinray built

Swm store that’s what I was talking about that the limit it it was the focus it was a Eliminator we were looking at a Eliminator yeah breaker 1200 basically a clone of the 1200cc Evo Sportster is the only game in town when it comes to an affordable new Harley type motorcycle

Speaking of Harley they have struck a deal with Chinese QJ Motors to build two models for the Asian market the same QJ motors which builds the newly revived Benelli and kov is another manufacturer that has finally brought a lightweight thear style rally bike to the m masses

At an affordable price can you name an established western or Japanese manufacturer that has done that neither can I oh and don’t even get me started on the suron scene if there’s one company that has managed to capture the imagination of Young Riders and started a trendy movement it is this Chinese

Company along with their competitor Taria guys have y’all seen people people are starting to daily these motorcycles where I live you know like full-blown on the highway on a surine and there’s nothing wrong with it you know you know I I I love I would love to

Have one of these bikes to to yip and have fun around with I’m not going to lie to you cuz you know I’m still in my young stages you know 24 years old but comment down below how y’all feel about you know the ton man oh man I’m people are starting to

Daily these bikes in my area man comment down below if your seeing the exact same thing in your area you know again the I I I love the electric route the way things are headed right now and it’s only going to get better and again um I’m just saying this

You know because I’ve rode different electric bikes Chinese electric uh scooters you know and right now I currently have electric motorcycle in the shop after just two months of ownership 500 miles doesn’t sound so good I know I know they’re like Rick why are you praising

Mo electric bikes and you have a motor brand new electric motorcycle in the shop for a malfunction issue I know you guys but you know that’s the risk that’s the risk you take you know getting and again I see why a lot of you guys say don’t go out

And buy electric don’t go out and spend that high dollar you know the the the infrastructure is not there the technology is not there it is getting better but it’s just not fair you know but uh I actually you know what’s crazy my electric Harley-Davidson is actually the motorcycle I’ve enjoyed the

Most besides my you know my super sports but even that you know I can daily it it’s comfortable um it’s instant torque it’s fast you know um and I feel like that’s why I miss my Harley-Davidson Livewire S2 Mar so so so much right now because

That bike was so easy to just daily around um it’s Nimble it’s light it’s not too heavy and you’re in a comfortable position upright you know so I do miss that bike man hopefully we can get it back to this week but um again I’m going to drop a

Video Wednesday for you guys to give you an update on the new uh harleydavidson live vs2 dmar issue and um see what Livewire says what’s going on with my bike so anyway let’s get on with the video so in this video I want to examine the effects of the

Chinese invasion of the western motorcycle Market will these Brands be a major player in Western markets and how will the incumbents respond stay tuned and if you’re finding this channel valuable please support it by subscribing liking the video and sharing it with Friends China’s economy is in the toilet right now their entire stock market is worth less than Nvidia and the real estate bubble has burst with some of their biggest developers going bust that country is staring down the barrel of a Great Depression however China’s motorcycle industry is not following the

Same trajectory and I would argue that this is because it’s changed its approach to Building Products China used to use the brute force method produce very cheap Goods at scale and bring them to Market at at rock bottom prices and the problem with that approach is that

It does not stress quality or innovation let’s face it Chinese vehicles and motorcycles in particular do not have a great reputation for quality and reliability in a for9 video Chinese motorcycle Brands had by far the highest amounts of particulate in their oil after the first oil change the dirty oil

Definitely betrays some quality control issues I’ll buy a $5 Chinese made t-shirt at Walmart without a second thought because if it falls apart I’m only out five bucks but a motor vehicle is another matter not only is it a reliability concern when the manufacturing is shoddy it’s also a

Safety concern this is what i’ like to call the Soviet Russia approach from the’ 60s you see the Russians have captured many German BMW Motorcycles during World War II and reverse engineered and started producing them under the name CAC a poignant anecdote was presented by historian Steve Kean on

Alex Friedman podcast about about the Soviet production philosophy I my first major girlfriend uh had a brother who wanted to get a motorbike but he couldn’t afford a Honda or a Kawasaki at the time they cost about $33,000 for $650 C Japanese motorbike he found he could buy a CAC mhm for

$650 $1 per CC so I was there when this is in this is in San Waters in in Sydney so this crate arrives with the CAC motorbike inside it so we take it apart it’s then got all these wooden palings we have to pull off the wooden

Palings to open it up then there’s oil saked rag over this thing which is tied on a on a wooden base we take the oil soak rag off and we stare in all its glory in a 1942 BMW yeah okay it was exactly the same as Steve McQueen and

The Great Escape so the Russians for 30 years were making the same bloody motorbike it had a bicycle seat yeah okay and this is what that’s how they cope they just made the same damn machine every year and he said so that’s that’s the outcome you you actually want

The best possible world you’re trying to build as fast as possible you’re paying workers as high wages as you possibly can and that leads to a world where you don’t innovate but he said capitalism on the other hand pure capitalist economy you’re trying to pay workers as little as possible you have competitive

Industries you’re trying to take demand away from your Rivals you have Kawasaki versus Honda versus you know um BMW etc etc the way you get demand away from your competitors is by innovating so what you will get is cycles and Booms and slums but you’ll innovate and change

Over time so what you found was this huge gap between socialist volume production with no innovation and capitalism with Innovation now KAC survives today as Euro but it never made significant inroads into the Western Market you see Western consumers prefer Innovation and quality to rock bottom prices and that is why Chinese motor

Vehicles have not significantly caught on here however there is another way of doing business that companies like kov CF Moto and suron have adopted and this is far more likely to bring them success in the west this model has been used by companies in the East before and very

Successfully I might add because believe it or not when I first got to Canada that in 1984 Japanese cars were looked down upon and referred to as pieces of junk old school Civics were derided and thought inferior to good old American cars but gas had gotten expensive and

Japanese brands like Honda were simply giving consumers what they were asking for a cheap reliable and economical vehicle within a decade by the time I was approaching my 20s the Honda Civic and CRX were the most popular models for young guys in my age group oh boy I

Would love to drive a look man boy you you couldn’t tell me nothing on the highway windows down and everything boy I dve that that Hunchback right there baby oh buddy I’ll drive that CRX right there group who bought and modified them to be great little sports cars those guys in turn might

Have bought more Hondas and Toyotas when they got into their 30s and might still be driving Japanese today you see our age group had broken the stigma of Japanese cars being junk and it was all because companies like Honda had given us cool products we could get excited

About as a result the old prejudices were forgotten and Japanese cars became some of the most desirable machines on the market this strategy was repeated by Korean Brands like Hyundai and Kia in the 9s and early 2000s and again those Brands went from being derided and looked down upon to being fully accepted

By westerners so how do the Chinese mot now they’re considered L now they’re considering them luxury luxury and they’re starting to make some amazing Vehicles you know besides that one that was uh what was it the TA you ride um catching they were catching on the brand new models were all catching

Up on fire people were having that issue where their car were just literally catching on fire it was crazy man motorcycle manufacturers achiev similar adoption first by being as fanatical about quality control as the Japanese brands nobody wants an unreliable motorcycle can they achieve it Royal Enfield did in the last decade this

Indian company used to have questionable reliability a peg fell off the old Himalayan in a promo and they left a shot in the video but now remember the for9 oil test Royal Enfield had the cleanest oil their new factories are serious about quality control and Royal Enfield is taking the World by storm

With a bunch of new models aimed at Young customers which make the brand look cool and in demand so that Chinese oil has to get cleaner fortunately for these companies they seem to be cleaning up their quality control issues I myself tested two sirons on this channel this

Past summer fogged them over tough terrain and rode them through deep mud and water and never a hiccup check out those videos in the top right corner generally sirons have a great reputation for reliability they’ve been around for a while and you don’t hear about too many mechanicles again I tell y’all

People are daily these motorcycles on the hot on the streets the highway you know they I know they come with the different uh wheel package you can get and people are throwing these bad boys on the highway y’all yeah not much can go wrong with electric

Bikes and speaking of siron this is a company that is doing something Honda did with its small cars they are getting young guys excited about them these bikes are phenomenon not only are they super light and easy to ride they are easy to modify and customize like the

Old Civics siron Riders now meet up in major cities and go on group rides popping wheelies and these rides are a thing now and there’s a huge community building around this product siron even started its own race series and when these guys grow up do you think they’ll

Have the same Prejudice about Chinese products that the older Generations do they’ll have no problem buying a reasonably priced Chinese bike another way these companies can gain market share is by gasp offering consumers what they want for years now Adventure Riders have been begging for smaller more off-road worthy motorcycles only to be

Presented with ever larger heavier and more expensive battleships mostly designed to be good sports tours for the long hole yes my own 10r 700 was an attempt at a lighter bike but it’s still pretty big meanwhile kov was busy rolling out a literal darar race bike in

The 450 rally and now CF Moto is coming out with a twin cylinder 450 IEX both companies beat even KTM to the punch with this type of bike as the Austrian company probably won’t roll out its new and improved 390 Adventure until later this year possibly at ikma in November

Meanwhile the IEX is going to start at $6,500 it’s still a bit heavy for a 450 but it’s better than most companies had managed in this segment hopefully Kawasaki builds a new versus around its 452cc engine from The Eliminator as long as we’re talking about giving customers

What they want I don’t see many people liking the new liquid cooled Harley Sportsters most Riders seem to prefer the old evil powered Sportsters which were slow and clunky I should know I used to own one but they looked and sounded like Harley should so what did

Harley do this continue them of course well here comes s swm motorcycles with their chinese-built storm breaker almost an exact mechanical clone of the Sportster and it looks pretty decent no it doesn’t have that quality Harley finish but neither that the old school Harley in the’ 60s and’ 7s I can totally

See Riders getting these and chopping and customizing them Harley said that the old Sportsters couldn’t pass Euro emissions but somehow s swm got the Stormbreaker through Maybe by choking it up it reputedly has less power than a 1200 Sportster but everyone who gets these bikes uncorks them anyways so

Customers won’t care if they’re a bit Wheezy out of the factory nothing a stage one won’t fix so again a Chinese company gets it done when a western one does not one positive out of all of this is that the Chinese Invasion might Force other manufacturers to respond with

Comparable models how about a Honda CRF 450 L Rally or the aforementioned Kawasaki versus 450 when the Japanese started building cars that Americans wanted American brands were eventually forced to respond with their own smaller and more efficient models so the Chinese should approach the Western Market like

The Japanese Koreans and Indians not the Russians focus on quality and image not just the low price but what about the morality of buying Chinese products some folks will never do it and that’s fine but to me boycotting a whole country doesn’t make much sense for several reasons one pretty much everything we

Buy from Walmart or Amazon is already made in China two the people in any given Nation are not responsible for the nation’s internal policies especially in non-democratic countries the people may themselves be victims I know this having been born in communist Poland the majority of the people in the country

Did not support the Communist Regime but when you can’t vote for anyone else this doesn’t matter boycotting businesses owned by these people doesn’t hurt the regime it hurts the people many of whom are victims themselves from the video made on the founder of kov you can tell this guy is passion about motorcycles

And Innovation he looks like an Enthusiast a lot like the friends I dirt ride with I’m not going to boycott his product because of the government that rules his country a government he didn’t vote for by the way governments do bad things and that includes our current Western governments so the bottom line

Is if the Chinese Brands want a significant slice of the Western Market they need to focus on reliability and provide consumers with the cool bikes we’re asking for don’t blindly chase the lowest price at the expense of quality do what the Japanese and Korean manufacturers did in the Auto industry

And what the Japanese big four did in motorcycles in fact do what Royal Enfield is doing right now but what do you think can the Chinese do it would you buy a CF Moto kov or suron please share your thoughts in the comments below right let’s see what they saying

In the comments man good perspective on commerci versus government I think I’ll think again on these on these things your argument may have swayed me well done competition is a good thing the Japanese American European manufacturers will have to step up their game I’m seriously ConEd buying a Chinese dual

Sport oh man let me see a few years back I bought a CF moto quad changed my life as a diard Suzuki fan I recently bought a CF uh 650 Mt so far the best allaround bike I’ve had I have owned over 20 Suzukis in my lifetime and still love

Them wow you guys so we have a uh we got a CF Moto uh lover after buying 20 Suzukis in his lifetime wow it’s amazing this past summer I bought a cfu force 600 UTV that all of my Polaris buddies are now in awe of especially when they see all of my

Standard features in low price I have no Prejudice towards justice of uh of towards citizens of any country so I appreciate the part of the video and couldn’t agree more and at the end of the day we all just trying to make a living motor on no matter what you ride

Yes indeed man and again I tell all you guys man whatever you ride whatever puts a smile in your face keep riding it you know what I’m saying if you have a dream for something go try it out go go sit on it you know do more research on it you

You know um when I bought that Harley-Davidson Live Wire and I rode it I got the test R it um it put a smile on my face and I knew that’s the bike I was going to keep for a very long time but guess what it’s in the shop

Now you never know so you just never know what you’re what you’re getting yourself into let me see somebody says I purchased a Cove rally yesterday after studying all the YouTube videos and physic physical looking at the bike one of my more convincing review was done by

Jimmy Lewis who rode the wheels off one for 1,500 mies he drained the oil when finished and stated it was the cleanest he had ever witnessed seems Cove has absolutely up the game oh man we’re getting we’re getting people starting to fall in love with Cove it doesn’t matter what bike is

Where where the bike is built quality control is key Honda had Japanese veteran Engineers doing quality control in their Chinese Factory and very likely branches in Philippines Thailand and Indonesia too these non-japanese Honda bikes are just as good as any Honda should be times are changing good video and

Topic soone says I bought a CF Moto Ibex 800t last July and have about 2400 mil on it now it worked Flawless and kept me warm all winter while riding in southern Eastern Washington State okay I have a 2022 CF Moto CLX 700 Sport and it’s a great bike lots of fun

And my wife likes it so much she’s looking to get one one of their naked Bikes their build quality is impressive and they have fantastic features that many of the competitors in the class don’t have I hope they continue putting out these machines since more options is

A win for everyone on two wheels man someone says it’s only a matter of time until these bikes make a big impact on our Market I am looking forward to the 450 twin might be a nice addition to the stable oh man CF Moto getting a lot of Praise in this video you

Guys comment down below what you think though and again um amazing video from different spokes TV Link in the description box down below be safe out there to all my Riders out there I love you guys we wishing safe travels to anybody out there on that road um y’all

Be wearing make sure y’all wear y’all gear now unless you uh run that bad Harley-Davidson with them with that uh loud exhaust on there with them sunglasses we going to let you pass you know what I’m saying salute to all my Riders though man no matter what
