I’m on a cycling tour around the coast of Ireland! In this video I’m cycling from Dublin to Wexford via Wicklow.

Couldn’t ask for a nicer day to start this let’s do it beautiful sunny morning to be leaving stony butter just a normal Tori for most people boy hour and 10 minutes in just about to leave Dublin behind and head into a club so yeah it’s been pretty good so far the
Hardest part has been a double city centre traffic and again used to the heavy bike in the heavy traffic the hill stars have been tough the pioneers like their curl but they are they’re quite heavy even though of packed as light as I call they’re still quite heavy so it
Takes a bit of getting used to well great progress so far now we’re on 10 minutes to the border where we look nice place for a break and a snack and some water great stones County Wicklow what a day Newcastle County Wicklow I didn’t even know it was a Newcastle in
Wicklow it’s a beautiful little village very nice place taking a break British Bay coast somewhere between just crossed into County Wexford that’s three counties done today that’s still going but not for much longer they’re ready for bed now I think hello from core town so I made it here there’s
Seven and a half there’s a little over seven and a half hours since they left home the one slight detour towards the end there probably cost me at a forty five minutes maybe but it could have been a lot worse yeah just happy with the day it was it
Was a long day in the saddle the first three quarters of a felt fine I felt really strong then they got really tired towards the end recognized about 110 kilometers maybe a little bit more thanks to that detour yeah from when I left home
So well take it easy now get a bit of grub and look at the plan for tomorrow I won’t be cover in the same distance I’m pretty sure wanna see how the body recovers as well ass so yeah definitely looking at a shorter distance tomorrow but yeah I had an amazing day hopefully

Hi! I found your channel this morning and may end up spending the rest of my morning lingering over a pot of coffee and your videos. I cycled around the coast of Ireland nine years ago. I had made it from Dublin to the Aran Islands when my bike was stolen on Inishmore (gasp!). I was absolutely gutted. But after mourning the loss of my beloved stead I stowed my camping gear and panniers, bought a knapsack and bus pass, and continued my journey around Ireland.
I'm planning on returning to Ireland next spring and finishing that cycling/camping tour. I'll start in Galway (perhaps skipping the Aran Islands?) and head north to Donegal and then over into Northern Ireland and then back down to Dublin. I'm so excited.
