    This group of riders encountered some unexpected complications on stage 1 of the Tour de Romandie, as they took a wrong turn on the finishing circuit around Lac de Joux.

      A friendly reminder, next year's Olympiad is in Paris, Paris is in France, France is in Europe, a slight left as you come from Italy …

      I had a season of racing in France and I had at least three occasions, when off the back, sadly, that I left the course. I think each time I at least knew the name of village where we were finishing. Then I simply followed road signs or asked directions. Once I flatted and didn't have a team car or a spare. A refrigerated truck with neat trays of whole chickens, stopped to give me a ride. My bike was put in the back with the chickens. Getting lost was particularly easy on rainy days since the rain would wash away the arrows painted on the pavement.

      Yea, the "detour" was actually funny. 😀 An add on to this one was next stage with a railroad crossing "incident". And yea, the sprint to the gates was a good one as well! Funny race, with lots of nice views!

      remind me of my teacher's story about military training. When everyone is tired and dark during the night mission, they follow the frontman. if he falls into a ditch, everyone will fall too. :p
