Hello and welcome to Grove House. We live in the north of England. We are approximately 12  miles from Bishop Auckland. Although we’re in the middle of a forest,  we’re not isolated. There  are many shops very close by. The wildlife is magnificent. You often have deer in the garden,

Woodpeckers, pheasants and many other animals. There are lots of walks and also, there are lots of mountain bike trails. It’s beautiful to walk along the stream. In the spring, you have the bluebells and watching the fish and kingfishers. Since we’ve lived here, we’ve renovated the house.

We have put in new bathrooms  and everywhere is to double glazed. We have renovated the Dovecot. Downstairs there’s a full bathroom with a rolled-top bath and upstairs, we have a bedroom but it could be changed into an office. We have six bedrooms with five en-suites, all new, 

With a lounge, a garden room,  a dining room and the kitchen. At the top of the house, we have three large rooms that have been converted. One we have as an office, the middle room we just  put bits and pieces in and the  end room is my sewing room.
