Reported to West Midlands Police

    Saturday 3rd June 2023

Wells v Woodward (1956): “Where a court is satisfied that traffic lights are showing green one way an inference can be drawn, unless the contrary is proved, that they are showing red the other way” i.e. if West Midlands Police watch this video and can be bothered this driver can be charged with running a red light and it is then up to the driver to prove that the light he went through wasn’t red or was defective. Rear video, not part of this clip, shows the car behind BX64LJC stopped at the light.
