I’m so lucky having this region on my doorstep and I’m even happier having the perfect bike for it, the Ducati Multistrada V4S.
Enjoy the scenery as we ride through the Trough of Bookend in the north of England.
This is also has my new buddy Andrew making his debut appearance on the channel.
And now we’re out up to the choer ball I’m going to catch up with my uh new uh riding buddy Andy who has also got a ducatti Multistrada we met through the uh I think it was Facebook or something to see someone else out and uh he’s got a brand new Multistrada v4s
Full like this and uh he’s due for a a service oh well another fail cardo connection come out today and the two was about to talk anyway he couldn’t work it he’s on the edge I’m on the packed up B so uh and he’s going to get instructions for next
Time so we’re heading to the New Forest New Forest that’s 12 years ago I liveed down there we’re heading into Cho of band from Cleo so I don’t know this route so I’m just uh following Andy on his 2023 ducatti multi strer v4x press full nice bike he’s got there he’s
Changed the silver panels for red ones it looks tidy and he’s just put the cented SP SPS pads on he’s just been telling me so much better feel and uh initial contact so uh he’s going to send me the link and I’m going to try them I said these
Brakes are great very Progressive but feel vague and a bit wooden they’re obviously set up for touring uh so uh yeah I’m going to try the SPs ones out I’ve had them on previous bikes and they’re all good so where we going Andy don’t know well they’re saying that I think I
Think I’ve been down this road before as all EES haven’t been here before the red pump in oh got the heat of grips on Lovely and toasty this bike’s got the extra upgraded um guards on the front handlebar guards protect the bike protect the hand sorry
From wind and cold air but um still nice to have the um heated SE heated grips on prob any we top today nice road is it nice and twisty decent surface as well roads have definitely dried out from this morning everything was wet and sticky and horrible this
Morning so yeah just uh don’t know these roads at all so just fall and handy he knows them well go around the corner from here this bike is surprisingly agile when it’s moving turns in lovely nothing sort of jerky let’s get the pheasants nothing’s jerky leans in nice and sort of what’s
The word L linearly it doesn’t sort of drop away I was worried when I went from the old bike to this I’ve always as long I remember always been riding bikes with 190 rear is other than the 890r which is on a 180 but to go to a 170 rear I was
Always I was a bit worried that it’s going to drop in too easy and be on less rubber now technically it is but um not feeling any reduction in grip or you know even in the in the turns saying that it’s been winter when I’ve had this bike so we haven’t even
Been out on a nice hot summers day with beautiful tarma love your little route have to try and remember This lovely Auto blipper and quick shifter on this uh the other day when I had my brother on the back uh it was quite clunky and then I got back and checked the uh thanks Andrew got back in uh the EXA the exhaust the chain was slack been around the bike
Only done 1,000 Miles when I bought it and I doubt very much it had any hard riding I took it out the first weekend and sort of pushed it a little bit just getting used to it and I think I’ve just slackened it off and that’s what it was
Anyway had it tightened up I went to ducatti they did it cuz I didn’t have 117 Newton torque wrench they did it for me and thank you very much indeed and uh yeah quick shifing The Flipper back to its normal silky self lovely road wow look at the views done with the
Cameras picking it Up views to the left to the to to the front front now oh yeah I have to remember this road taste when you find a road that you’ve never seen or ridden before again I said a few times on the video you just don’t get off the beat
And track in a car unless you force yourself to so uh yeah one of the benefits and bonuses of uh riding two wheels what do we have here little Hamlet right turn sharp right I have been down that road I remember that Junction when we got the

To on this bike is just the sheer size of it on uh you know when you’re sort of doing u-turns and uh just sort of maneuvering the bike while you while you sat on it that’s the little bit which I’m just haven’t got enough uh miles under me belt on
Yet plenty of torque on this fourth gear what was I don’t know 25 30 mph just pulls lovely I know it’s got 20 OD to talks less than the KTM v twin but not missing it and it’s so much more smooth hello sheeps sheep don’t seem too bothered wonder how many of their
Brethren are being eaten on a Sunday roast today plenty of mint sauce and gravy wow look at that over there helicopter with a is that a car underneath a military helicopter with uh something military hanging below it we didn’t pick it up on the camera these Scorpion parelli tires feel

Sbs pads No, no for me I’d go for Ebc sintered 👍
Looks an epic ride that. I used to live in the North West, but I’ve been in Australia for 19 years and have a V4s Sport here. I enjoy the videos well done.
Beautiful roads with wonderful scenery! Regarding the bike, it is the best in my opinion: beautfiul, powerful, balanced… I am wondering what will be the next one, with could be better?
