Constance Marten sobbed today while watching a recording of herself telling police the body they found in a supermarket bag was her baby called Victoria.
The remains were found in the Lidl bag-for-life two days after Marten, 36, and her boyfriend, Mark Gordon, 49, were arrested following seven weeks on the run, the Old Bailey was told.
Officers pulled rubbish from the bag including nappies, a baby-grow, a Budweiser beer and two Coke cans, before the remains were discovered stuffed at the bottom.

I hope those police were given counselling. 😢
Omg. Literally in with the trash.
May that baby rest in peace. I'm so sorry you had those monsters as parents.
Two Met officers not dressed in riot gear, this is different. RIP innocent child.
When those police officers go home they are not going to leave their day behind that's for sure.. What a world we live in…
She picked herself a lovely fella.
Why is this footage even being shown?
Imagine someone can do this to his own douther what they can do to others
They should be banned forever 😧
The parents are vile human beings
Absolutely awful, stuffed in a bag with an empty beer can and other rubbish, treated like trash. Unimaginable!
They thought of her as much as the Israelis think of the Palestinians.
Those poor officers. I can’t begin to imagine
Logic says they should get life in prison…
