That Neil’s and his family have dug and stocked and nurtured for years now he’s been handcrafted in it with passion and we’ve just a minding goal to have a premium carp Fisher down in the southwest and well fish you’ve got he’s got got it I mean look at the stock just

Talking to Neil earlier on the way in 70 fish 10 little stocky things fish and he reckons getting close to 50 of them over 30 just this year alone on social I’ve seen free fish over 40b that’s been the last six or seven weeks yeah yeah it’s been Rel they’re

Going and there’s a lot and again I watched The Social cuz I knew we were coming here um there’s a lot of 36 to 38 in there there’s and like say fish of that stand have been out in quite a while yet as well no you know and I yeah

I haven’t even don’t even look looked at that I’m down that way I stayed in the house uh last time I came here with Debbie three dogs and my son Lee as you know and that is ridiculous in there it you know you get that you book this is a

You book this as a whole in you it’s not split bookings is it no it’s a whole lake exclusive on the site um and there’s three different sets of accommodation and I mean throughout this film obviously will run everyone through that and out a book and stuff like that

All show all little lodges but let’s get the rods in the water Dan we’ll have a bit more of a a lengthy and personal chat this evening till then rigs plop them over there let’s try and catch one of these 30s I hope so do for me let’s do it come

On now it’s that time of year I fished it before when I fished it before it was all sweet cool it was really warm the water was warm the weather was blinding but we are now we’ve had two Frost so what I’ve bought with me I’ve got one

Rod already out with a 12 mil chocolate milk popup on it but the other two are going to have to be little red maggot balls just to see it gives you know it’s an edge it is a cold I mean the water isn’t cold yet but for me it’s it this

Is the time it’s starting for your maggot maybe your worm uh so I’ve got two rods long story short going on little balls of maggots on the far margin with a pint of maggots thrown around the pair of them and um bear in mind of pint is not not a lot when you

Consider the stock in this Lake in this small little lake with all the big fish in it so but that’s at least we can add more to it clearly you can’t take them out so what we’ve got here is one of my little size four beak points 20 maggots

And a little bit of buoyant foam uh and that’s going off The Far Side the other one the one with the chocolate M popup we put a couple of an of sweet corn around it we’ll see what produces without further Ado we’ll get this it’s all balanced now nice it should be

That is a bite and we’ll get that flicked over the other side where I threw that Pine of Maggots so I’m actually in the middle of the lake for this session and I’ve got an island out in front as you can see with a bridge over and again it seems like this this is where they’re going to move for you know it’s deeper up in

Front of Ian and then there’s a bottom Lodge right down there that Neil’s going to be doing the nights I believe so for me it’s all about minimum disturbance I spoke to Ian who fished here last year and he told me he done a fish off of

That bush over there I think it’s maybe an auditory so I’m going to have one over there then the next one’s going to be off the island seems very Visual and sort of instant place to start wouldn’t see why not then round to my left again

It’s sort of a bit of a quieter Bay it’s a real big overhanging tree so I’m going to get in there tuck one up and see what Happens have you fed that dog is he staring at me I have fed him but if you ain’t careful he’s partial for for for um extremely good looking you dress like a stick and he loves sticks that’s what happens you see um well I know you don’t

Mess about mates I know you have got three WS out already I’ve I’ve gone for the old washing line rig you know it’s in favor but for these situations I just think it might serve me well um and hopefully keep them traveling up there that’s a tactic I’ve

Never had to employ my England really well I’ve never been anywhere I think it’s it’s going to help me that guy there Mr Lista he swears by it and he kind of got into my head on a few places especially small places pressured places

Side of the Rope so unlike Ian I haven’t got his vast amount of experience I’m not a formidable carp catcher like him so I need to put everything in my favor to make sure that one show I’m going to fish to it as effectively as I can so

To the middle of the lake and it’s fair to say my night was pretty quiet Ian had one and we went around there and i’ done a few snaps for him in that 31 so I think it’s just under 32 um gorgeous fish a big chunk and that’s

But when you’re fishing for big fish you can’t afford not to be looking can you I can’t just Chuck it and charm might not come back here again I got to make it count comes Out another a little one is it Alex I can’t I hav quite had the when it was here I thought it was a big one I don’t think it Is and it just lovely they just love fishing when it’s happening another a 20 pounder yeah CH bit for that one two and a half hours left we might get another one yet right that was it then she was flying Mate right well looks can be to see when that rolled in the edge both me and Alex went that’s a big fish then as it got closer it shrank I had this stands about 24 27 second 27 pounder we’re going to close on this fish the a303 is
