[Applause] Good morning and welcome to morning Brew on labor social this is the morning and this is the Brew hello so tonight uh last night was a night of um twists and turns um some absolutely shocking scenes um honestly had me on the edge of my seat way past 3:00 in the morning there

Wasn’t even a moment where I felt like I was going to nod off you know getting tired it was just so much drama so much excitement but enough about June 2 last night was the rdale the cursed rdale byelection cursed because so many of the candidates had problem s um ranging from

The labor candidate who was dropped so technically that was no labor candidate that’s why their vote share collapsed by 47% not really a reflection on labor in any way shape or well you know maybe get better selection processes maybe but aside from that uh stood up and made

Some quite um anti-emetic comments and labor obviously have to unlike the Tory party who just go oh there is no there is no islamophobia what islamophobia what there is no Islam there blatant islamophobia in the toy party Kama has taken the the the bull by the horns and

Said uh no we’re not going to actually uh put up with any any kind of [ __ ] like that so um that that the labor candidate had to be dropped the green candidate had to be dropped by the green party because of problematic tweets uh that have been sent several years earlier the

Uh the the the the candidates for the Reform Party or reuck as I like to call them reform UK uh shut up printer my printer is making noises he uh he was a labor candidate once and he was dropped uh by Labor uh for sending salacious text messages to a 17-year-old

Girl not great but you know let’s stand for reform UK because and then you have probably the most problematic candidate of all George Galloway George Galloway the man who saluted who salutes murderers the guy who met with Saddam Hussein and saluted his inability or something this was Saddam

Hussein the same person who in the early 90s gassed thousands of Kurds in the North in Kurdistan in the north of Iraq something that the Kurdish Community still pretty sore about to this day as you can possibly understand but I guess when you’re killing Muslims it it it

Doesn’t matter you know what Muslims that get killed as long as the person who’s doing the killing is Muslim that’s okay if they’re not Muslim themselves then that’s a that’s actually a war crime yes I think it’s always a war crime I I wouldn’t go around saluting

Anyone who had committed mass murder on such a horrific scale but that’s just me you know that’s that that’s just me uh so anyway so um for the candidate oh my God and H yeah George Galloway won by stoking the the war in Gaza as a thing

To vote for him and he’ll magically stop it somehow and this reminds me of back in my University days might have told the story before but uh if you’ve heard it before you know just just sit back while I tell it again when I was in university I stood for uh internals

Officer in my second year and then for General Secretary in third year of the Student Union I lost both elections interestingly enough the guy who was right running mate in the third year election who actually ran for internals that year uh was uh is is now the shadow

Secretary of State for business and that’s Jonathan Reynolds um so uh yeah we uh we we ran a good campaign but uh unfortunately um one of the candidates who I was running against decided to cheat on a massive scale and unfortunately because H they they the the people involved were

Friends relatives girlfriends of this guy uh then uh yeah it it they didn’t uh reun the election like they should have done but that’s another story what I want to talk about is the fact that I worked at the bar at the time I wasn’t politically Affiliated although I did

Kind of stand as the labor candidate because there wasn’t someone from labor standing for that role that year um but I you know what I’m like I don’t like to be beholden to party doctr and I didn’t want to do the job for labor like give a [ __ ] about a national governments who

Were in government at the time by the way back in the head days of uh the year 2000s um no uh What uh what what uh I my thought process was is if I get this job and it was an actual full-time job it wasn’t just a you

Know voluntary position I want to make it so that the lives of students in Manchester are improved so I would turn up and full of a lecture hall and I’ll say okay what do we need we need better Street lighting we need better social support uh better student support better

Counseling services better response when there is an accusation of sexual assault um how about the fact that there is a safety bus there’s a there’s a mini buus because I worked at the bar you see I worked in the Student Union bar in Manchester the academy and

The Hop and grape as it was then and the Manchester debating Hall the serpent bar next to it that’s taking us back and I will say how about everyone gets a little card we print a load of cards for each student and they all get to put it

In their pures and their wallets and it has the number for this safety boss which already exists I’m not creating this but it means that if you are in a situation anywhere in Manchester any time of the day or night you can call this number and the safety bus will come

And pick you up and drop you off at home hardly any students knew about it we as staff behind the bar we knew about it because we used it to get home after a shift at Club Tropicana on a Tuesday night when we had lectures in the

Morning and only four hours of sleep to be had oh thank you very much Sarah for saying um have a great day uh you too thank you very much for the Super Chat there super chat um anyway so I’ll come out and I’ll say all these things that I

Want to do and I actually had a 100 100 Point Manifesto which said all these different things that I wanted to do for the people of man uh the students of Manchester it’s a big university it’s even bigger now it swallowed umist anyway then someone would come on the

George Galloway of the show would come on uh in front of the lecture hall before the lecture started and addressed the room and they would stand in there and they would say vote for me for General Secretary of the Student Union of Manchester and I will stop NATO AG in the South Balkans

Okay I’m sitting there going I don’t think you will why why don’t you do why don’t you promise the things that you could actually do as general secretary why why are you oh right you just want to get elected you didn’t give a [ __ ] about the students didn’t give a [ __ ] about manchest

Chester sounds like you don’t even give a [ __ ] about Britain or Europe I mean yeah let’s stop NATO causing massacres in Bosnia and and and Kosovo okay pretty sure that’s the serbians but whatever I could be wrong like you know my grass bone World politics isn’t perfect it’s

Pretty [ __ ] good though right so that’s what George Galloway is to me he stands up and he’s he’s not got any plans to make the lives of the British people better the lives of the people of rdale better he just goes oh Gaza look Gaza look look look at this thing that’s

Happening isn’t that awful for for me okay what are you going to do about it nothing I’m just going to say it’s awful well loads of people have said that we know it’s awful oh my god did you read the reports yesterday about over 100 people were just massacred by the

Israeli forces because of a mixup no because of a massacre that’s why and and he’s using this he’s using the suffering of the the people of Gaza as a way of getting a job for a few months because we’re going to have an election in a few months it’s

So sick it’s so twisted and it’s all about Gorgeous George it’s all about George Galloway it’s all about feeding his ego and his big head this guy who turns up in byelections and says vote for me I’m going to solve all the problems in the world except the ones

That exist here in Rochdale or here in any other constituency that I’m standing in and I’ll only be your MP for a few months really because it’s got to be a general anyway and I’m probably just going to live in Portugal for most of the time

Because and I hate it I absolutely hate it that people’s lives that are being torn apart are being used for political gains by these egotistical gobshites like Galloway like others on the so-called hard left I don’t think they’re hard left I think if you support totalitarian authorit Arian

Dictators who murder people then you’re pretty far right you’re pretty far right and you’re just using using the suffering of people somewhere else in the world to say oh look at that isn’t that bad vote for me are you going to stop it no absolutely not going to stop

It any way shape or form but just vote for me I want a job it’s all about me ah unfortunately uh that’s a lot of people who go into politics in this country um the worst of us in many respects there are some really great MPS out there there are some um really

Lovely MPS MPS that really care about their communities but I would say more than half probably don’t at the moment maybe that’ll change after the next election I hope it does but I wanted to know what the MP who’s now the MP for Rochdale was going to do for the people

Of Rochdale and I didn’t hear that Vale is um you know it it it’s it has its difficult ulties um I think rdale does matter um I’ve been to rdale a few times for various reasons once because the M2 the m62 was shut trying to get home from from Liverpool to

Durham and uh we we were forced to stay in we were forced off the motorway by the authorities and then there was this weird scene where we were all in this all all the motorists had like pulled into this hotel and we were all sitting there waiting to find out whether the

The uh the m6 was going to reopen so we could get in our cars and drive or whether we were going to have to stay in rdale for the night and we were sitting in this big room in this hotel um in like the bar of this hotel in this big

Circle and no one’s really talking to each other because we don’t know each other we’re all different motorists who were just sitting there waiting for news and checking on the phones and someone just said this looks like the beginning this looks like the opening of an Agatha Christi novel like sitting there this

Roaring fire in the corner and these like strangers in the room thrown together by circumstance but yeah watchale um but also watchale um yeah is is in need of a lot of support and what I would like to see from an MP standing for rdale is talking about getting hold

Of this leveling up funding but we didn’t hear any of that from George Galloway it was just Gaza Gaza Gaza it’s almost as though he knew that would be a vote winner also if if you look at the labor collapse because they weren’t supporting their their candidate it was

Too late to change the candidate at the point where they realized that he was um problematic let’s say um yeah Labour would have won labor would have won if that vote hadn’t collapsed and there’s no reason why it would have collapsed even if um both reform who

Barely got their deposit back I don’t think um they were in sixth position reform by the way they were supposed to be the spoiler candidate but then Along Comes George Galloway a man who wants pretended to be a cat on live television leotard for some reason so yeah um the the the saying

That they were going to is whatever candidate one was going to push for let more leveling up funding better transport links and all that kind of stuff would have been good but I just want to talk a little bit before I jump into the comments which I will about

Leveling up funding so here in the Northeast um especially in Durham they’ve spent over a million pounds bidding bidding I’m almost two million pounds bidding for leveling up funds that haven’t I just want you to have a little think about that for a moment so when we were

Part of the EU we managed to secure funding from objective one places like Liverpool which took nearly two billion pounds from the EU got two billion pounds which allowed Liverpool to really regenerate we had this running joke about the fact that like toxi in Liverpool has been a regeneration Zone

Since the end of the second World War like if you’re going to regenerate a place freaking regenerate it don’t just build some substandard housing that only people on social housing will live in uh that housing stock that will only last for 20 years because it’s so shoddily

Built yeah maybe don’t just don’t do that in a sort of 20 year cycle of you know sort of dereliction should we say let’s not do that um not that all problems in in tox have been sorted out but the city center of Liverpool is very

Very different from what it was and that comes from the objective one funding that we got from the EU now there is a pittance being handed out by this Tory government a fraction of what places like Liverpool and places like rdale could have achieved off the EU and

They’re making places like Durham which is also deprived pay for this through the nose out the councils out of our council tax and something I learned yesterday by watching one of the videos on uh YouTube um guy called Phil he does these you know little reviews of cities

And C them more [ __ ] holes usually but he did one um you’ve probably seen him um he did one about council tax and he pointed out that the average council tax in the country is about three grand or just about 2.8 Grand and it goes up as

Far as five grand if you live somewhere like Oxford and yet there’s a there was a building that was up for sale for 45 million pound in London just by Victoria Station over the road from inham Palace 45 million this house was worth and how much council tax do they pay to the

Buret of Kensington and Chelsea I think it is or just Kensington 1,800 a year 1,800 a year my god um but you know it’s a Level Playing Field just have a look on privat school mafia.com who’s I added the the 85th name uh today uh some transphobe on

The BBC who was found to be transphobic by the BBC I think BBC’s having a bit of a wobble because normally it just ignor stuff like that but there you go he was found to be a transphobe and some presenter and I added him to the private school

Mafia private school Mafia I love it you know you know people who go to private school do you think here’s a little quiz for you do you think they are twice as likely to get a high paying high power job than the rest of us who didn’t go to

Private school do you think it’s it’s two time do you think it is five times or do you think it is 10 times more likely for them to get those high powerered jobs can you just vote in the chat 2 five or 10 just put it in there

And uh let me know what you think right I’m going to jump into the chat now thank you very much for joining us this morning um it’s really lovely to see all the the comments coming up as I’m blab bling away you might be slagging me off

I can’t read them while I’m talking to the camera but you know still it’s still nice uh to see this interaction Galloway is a perfect Manifesto of the Horseshoe Theory I think it’s a circle back puny I think it’s just a circle you get so far over to the left you become rightwing

And yeah vice versa um and also you you’ll notice how people who are very hard left people who uh the the you know were communist revolutionaries a few years ago working with the Boris Johnson government as advisor editing spiked magazine and you’re like what how that happened uh 10

10 times 10 of course uh Sera says 10 um Eric says five um 10 times yeah everyone’s saying 10 11 says Ona who’s the closest so far trick question it’s actually 12 you’re 12 times more likely to get a high paid powerful job if you enter private school 12 times more

Likely so if if there are 12 of you going for a job and one of those people going for the job went to private school they’ll probably get it you won’t and we want to Tink around the edges we want to add some vat to the the the fees

Which is the least we can do I think we should make them completely not Charities because they’re not Charities Charities don’t give charity to the children of billionaires that’s not how Charities normally work goes to actually needy children and one in a hundreds kid taken from a deprived background they

Literally no kids in Eaton from Bole I guarantee it no kids in eaten from Bole if there are I’d be very surprised well from a sinker state in Bole from the Council of State in b i I don’t think that’s going to happen um yeah but they uh they they’re everywhere they’re

Everywhere go private score Mafia six 855 names now I’m I’m planning to get over a thousand before this election but yeah we’ll Tink around the edges we we’ll we’ll we’ll make them pay vat a little bit and you see the backlash against this from the people who went to

Private school or send their children to private school all over the newspapers oh my God they’re trying to they’re trying to put VAT on school fees do you know who proposed that do you know who proposed that idea um it was an education secretary by the name of oh he’s just been suspended

He just been has he been suspended in he’s been investigated oh he’s been investigated yes ladies and gentlemen the guy who came up with the idea of scrapping um vat exemption on private school fees was none other than privately educated man of the people Michael Cove true story bit like um you

Know Nixon remember the president of the United States the the the maddest one until we had George W bush who was the maddest one until we had Trump uh yeah uh remember Nixon yeah he proposed um Universal basic income strange but true anyway so moving slightly on labor can’t

Go left it be attacked if it does says where’s G yes I understand and what I was going to say is what I would like to see what I would like to see is for private schools to be banned made illegal like what they are in Finland

That’s it and people go oh you can’t do that can’t do that because if you do that you know what will happen these private school kids will go into the state school system and there won’t be enough money for them bollocks to that I say bollocks because on average about

£5,000 per people is spent in the state school system where as private school kids get about £18,000 in the taxpayer because we subsidize the [ __ ] out of those places we subsidize the [ __ ] out of their private skiing lessons their archery practice and their Rob boats we subsidize it out of our taxes because

They’re Charities you see they escape paying billions in tax we subsid ize them so get rid of them that’s it you can’t pay for you know school education in this country like in Finland you can’t pay for it that’s it it’s illegal in Finland they changed their goddamn constitution in the 70s

They not just not just the law the Constitution and now they have the best education system in the world and one of the most equal systems in the world for people who live there it’s not perfect nowhere’s perfect but you can take best practice from other countries and go hey

That works for them let’s try it here let’s have a meritocracy for a change don’t forget between 1963 and 1997 all of our Prime Ministers were state educated from 1997 to today we’ve only had two that W one lasted three years George uh Gordon Brown sorry George

Gordon Brown and the other one lasted six weeks because it was list trus the rest of the time we have been ruled over by the privately educators every single leader of these Uhl big political parties re reclaim reuk the Tories even labor because K sta School became private while he was there bully

For him he didn’t have to pay the fees but you know still bit of an advantage uh the leader of the S&P privately educated ah so and the LI thems uh yeah race equality Freedom social Mobility wasn’t that be nice anyway George Galloway won the byelection last night

Um and nobody cares because it was a big the whole thing was a massive [ __ ] up and um as a result he’s going to be preing on the news today and um hopefully that’ll be the last we hear of him for a little while he’ll probably

Just fly off back to his mansion in in the algar wherever he lives Haro Haro to you as well Captain Bart Roberts um where G says majority of s Provisions are private many cares have trapped in private placements I’ve always seen the the fraud but how can they all be closed

Because then we allocate the money that these these places get for you know the nonprofit but they don’t play capital gains tax like eatting college is a charity oh piss off they just sold buildings they just sold assets worth millions you’re talking about a company that produces

Prime Ministers who what 22 of them have been for eating we only had like 56 Prime min is a third of them went to the one school and they sold up some I don’t know some property and they’ve just made this massive profit on it and they pay

No capital gains tax whatsoever because he’s a charity we do a lot for charity um yes end this education division thank you George George um but yes you’re very kind but um that was a very good point that was made there about provision for special educational needs because we have a system where

Basically if you are in the state system because the the the funding has been cut to the Bone you are your child if they are Autistic or they have other special educational needs are not going to be catered For very well in the state system compared with what you can get in

The private system and so a lot of parents who have an sen child feel compelled to have to pay this which they shouldn’t they shouldn’t have to pay that because it it shouldn’t exist and the Fantastic grade A goldplated provision for special educational needs should be across the

Board and that would make it better for everyone see that the big point with this is that if you have a problem with affirmative action as I know that a lot of people on the right do no one watching this probably has a problem with it but the the reasoning behind

Having a problem with affirment of action and then one of the reasons why the the Supreme Court in America the Republican Putin dominated Supreme Court got rid of it last year uh the year before they it is because um that they say oh but it’s not fair

Because it it means that you don’t get necessarily the right per you know the best person for the job you’re giving someone a job just because the the color of the skin but you’re not giving them the job because they’re the best person for the job and I’m sitting here going

Oh so that happens the best person gets the job oh you sweet summer child if that was the case we wouldn’t have a situation where you are 12 times more likely to get any given top job if you went to private school so if you got a problem with

Affirmative action you should always have a problem with private schools which they probably don’t because those people are probably rich and racist anyway um and I I I believe in giving people a leg up and this is why I want to see things like um blind CVS um along

With getting rid of private schools But Blind CVS where the person reading it does not know your name so they can’t make a judgment based on your name so if you have a black sounding name you generally get turned down by about 10 times as many jobs as you would with the

Exact same CV if you had a white sounding name that’s in Britain right now that is some institutional racism right there at the core of our system and that’s got to stop so if you go for a job with say Joseph rree Foundation uh which do fabulous work it’s a blind CV

Process and it’s quite difficult to do uh I don’t know if anyone watching this has actually gone into suit for a blind uh where you don’t give your name you try not to give any details about your age or uh your you met to private school

Or not and you don’t want to tell them whether you know you you um your sexuality you don’t want to give away what what um ethnic minority you might be or your uh or or your religion um and basically it’s just here’s my CV with unnamed and they go through it and go

Okay well we want to we want to meet these people um from this from this list that we’ve made you know numbered list by an independent group of Arbiters it takes a lot more time to get this done because obviously you got to have two layers of

Human resources which a term I hate it it makes humans sound like a commodity it’s kind of it just makes me think of uh the movie soil and green quick bring in the Human Resources we need to make more silent grein yeah not optimal but yeah um but that kind of process results

In getting better people for the job and more representation for people from different backgrounds which at the moment we don’t have we don’t have um Tim says my son is dyslexic he got all the help he’s needs now top stream and every subject could not ask for more help than he’s got that’s

Fantastic Tim uh my old company did blind CVS whilst I was there they blanked out the schools and universities that’s brilliant yeah um the fact that greme still think people handing CV is cute have you heard of LinkedIn and indeed LOL says TMS well some of you

Know I went for my first job interview my first job in my first job interview in 23 years almost to the day almost to the day in fact probably my first job interview kind of ever because the job interviews I’d had before were literally I would turn up and they’ll go

Right here’s your desk here’s what you do or here’s the bar you know there’s where the drinks are make sure the labels all face outwards and they’re off your pop that that was my interview uh because they just needed someone so uh yeah actually sitting down having to

Answer questions and then coming out with that feeling of a I should have said this and oh I should have said that why did I mention this why um but uh yeah I know that feeling I know that feeling now but yes um yeah we we did do

Uh did have to put on a CV for that job so whatever um my school was just a detention center for keeping kids off the streets until they were old enough to be forced to shite jobs nobody wants uh to do without the threat of homelessness Ian that’s the way it

Shouldn’t be isn’t it that is just the that is just the attitude and the I know I’m not saying you’re G you’re you’re giving a spin on that I’m saying yeah that is a pro it’s a huge problem the and when they talk about overhauling the education system the T they go let’s

Change it so instead of having A’s and a Stars we have 1 2 3 four 5 six S8 nine 10 yeah why I don’t know we’re just going to do that it’ be better just give him percentages then if you’re going to do that just give him a percentage I

Always felt this because when I did my a levels I got an A in politics for my a levels there was no a Stars at the time back in 1997 and another lad in my Year Andy he got an A as well and then we got

Our scores I scraped an a I think I got like 71% yeah he got like 93% but we both got A’s just like he was way better than me at it yeah the guy’s genius he’s probably a very very rich lawyer these days but I I I just like why we got the

Same grade that makes no sense but percentages might work a bit better but then again you’ve got the problem of different exams doing different exam boards giving slightly different grades depending on you know which board that you’re with and all that kind of problem so how about and that’s going to seem

Bit out there how about we do away with exams entirely and have a system where you have to prove that you’re good at critical thinking and finding solutions to problems based on the information that’s there in your hands we on our phones these days with all the information you’ll ever need right there

In the palm of your hands these are the culmination the culmination of thousands of years 10,000 years of human technology going into this and you might be thinking that’s a bit of a that’s a bit of a no so much Tech goes into this but what I love what I love about your

Uh mobile phone is this this is what I love about not Apple so much because they don’t have them anymore is this see this little Jack here goes in for the headphones yeah you know the one that my friends was invented in the 1870s for telephone exchanges it was

Bigger same design 1870s ladies and gentlemen in your phone 1870s Tech that’s like steampunk your phone is steampunk I love stuff like that Jo found out yesterday James Herer who did the not James herner Howard Shaw Howard Shaw who did the music for Lord of the Rings used to

Be in the Saturday Night Live band uh that used to play you know in the background and he’s the guy who came up with the name The Blues Brothers yeah look it up fact fans my new favorite fact right questionable AB sanity hello thank you very much for the1 pound Super

Chat really um that is very generous of you and I’ll give you a little Super Chat animation one second there it is woo yeah thank you um last night last interview I did last night you can tell I’ve about 4 hour sleep last interview I

Did was 2000 turned up in a suit first question was what is your favorite climb in the pass then got asked to climb a rope and come down another one overdressed I felt a bit overdressed my dad uh ran a garage in Liverpool and uh

He was he was a he was a bit of a weird generation I think and he would uh get Lads in from West Derby comp uh to work as trainees and he only had three questions for them they were it was who wrote be Haven’s Fifth Symphony what’s

The capital of Mongolia and what’s the difference what’s the distance between the Earth and the Sun now I know those answers now at the back of my hand I mean Bens fit in he’s a bit obvious but uh it wasn’t that they had to get the

Question right it’s that they had to try they had to Hazard a guess and if they Hazard a guess he gave them a job had nothing to do with with fuel systems carburation nothing just you know what’s the capital of Mongolia and as you all know it’s Ulan b h gram you

Missed the Super Chat earlier too oh my giddy ant did I I’m so sorry I’m gonna have a quick look George geores no I didn’t I’ve got one from Sarah saying have a great day uh George George yes end this education diversion thank you George I think I said thank you but I’ll

I’ll do that again and then the one from questionable ABS sanity which is one of my favorite names that comes up on here a questionable AB sanity uh sounds like a track by jic um yes indeed the first transwoman to win an Oscar did so for the soundtrack to water ship

Down that is a fascinating I love these fascinating facts um and then uh Matt says God no haven’t been for exams I would have fail scor my object lack of organization of coursework assum do to do so successfully but I did fly in exams uh I I I I’m not saying it should

Be coursework because I think it needs to be different now because of the differences in how so this is the difference between when math all used to be long division worked out by you know with with the pen and paper and then we moved to being able to use calculators

In the math exams and that made it so we could ask much more difficult questions questions that would have taken too long to do in a one hour two hour exam uh with a pen and paper you could do them you could if you knew the principles you

Could work out the answers using a calculator which you’ll always have in the future we have the same thing now we have the internet and if you are able to find the information that you require uh quickly and efficiently and you know understand it I think that’s something that comes halfway between coursework

And exams and I think that’s where we need to move to I’m not saying I have the answer on this but I just think that an exam for me and I did very well in my a levels because I realized that it’s basically a memory test so I just use

Neonics to remember everything I didn’t even bother reading the books for my my a level English I just remember what the teacher told me to say so the my understanding of those books like sons and LS I I don’t even know what happens in the bloody thing I just knew what I had

To write about the themes if question about the themes turned up in the exam the themes are x y and Zed uh Australia is wider than the moon wow that’s fascinating my favorite question when interviewing is if you were a biscuit what biscuit would you be

In why oh yeah i’ be I’ll be a chocolate hobnob again again anyone seen the petk sketch listen I’m way over time got eight minutes over time I was going to do the papers I’ve got to do the paper the alternative paper review as as my friend uh Aid

Calls it um this is about the the Wayne cousins which we will talk about later it probably in in labor social tonight if you join us at 9:00 we’ll be talking about the failings of the police forces that should have seen uh that that that cousin should have never have become a a

A police officer um just some absolutely horrific uh misogyny and just BL cruelty um that just went on in the police force and still goes on to this day uh Britain’s Bok B this is the Daily Mail being hysterical as always piss off Daily Mail uh Russia flooding West with

Migrants um which is some Daily Telegraph which y they probably are uh because they want to destabilize the West obviously because they’re you know H putins um more than 100 Palestinians die in chaos surrounding Goda Aid Convoy this is just absolutely horrific new story this this situation

In Gaza has to stop and our leaders need to be telling them that it has to stop it’s no good Biden muttering under his breath that Netanyahu is a son of a [ __ ] I mean okay stop giving them weapons stop it just stop it stop just say right that is it that is

It you have gone way too far they went way too far back in bloody October a week after the October the 7th attack they went too far by now over 30,000 people dead and then you’ve got people go go but the figures only come from the

From the uh you know the Hamas run health agency and it’s like if it wasn’t true I I think it would be quite easy to prove but the fact that so many people are you know who are there medicine frontia and and some very brave journalists who are

Saying oh my God this place is a massacre Like You Think You Can level a city You Think You Can level an entire city and like no one dies piss off I’m I’m what part of me is amazed that it’s actually so low um but yeah it’s it’s a really grim

And depressing place that world that we’re living in at the moment that’s why we we need to come together and S you know assure ourselves that we’re not completely going in insane this is wrong on every level um and I hate that people politicize it and use it for their own

Political gains it’s disgusting Alec thank you very much for the five pound Super Chat that’s really generous my uni taught everyone how to search for stuff on the internet people are useless without this training uh yeah absolutely well I was I was really lucky I mean I

Did my dissertation in year 2000 was on American gun law by the way would you believe in America H it’s not going to be American gun law in Australia is it gram yeah shut up and yeah I could look stuff up on the Internet made the job a

Lot easier than going through journals which I also had to do um uh yes so um preach Graham says Leon Scott thank you very much I will continue uh not particularly religious um this is a really sad story about Dave from the Harry bikers uh passing away U everyone

Seemed to like him just a really nice guy and he hated brexit and he’s died bloody cancer takes another one um so heartbreaking um two peak tax cut in doubt after gloomier forecast on the UK economy yeah to cut taxes the count uh they’re getting their many uh Putin menaces the West with

Warnings over nuclear risk uh in war over Ukraine he saber ratland again and then heavy biker Dave Myers on the front cover of the the uh the Metro there as well um you know what though I I just want you to take away this because we have

Had a Spate of really horrible news stories in the last uh well eight years um when I traveled around the world everywhere I met I met lovely people and the thing with the news is that you only hear the bad stuff because that’s news nothing particularly bad happened in

Malawi today isn’t a news story um an earthquake a famine a flood a murder a murder of a British tourist a you know a disease that’s newsworthy so that gets in the news and what it does is it gives us a very lobs side view of the world as

This awful dangerous place where everyone’s out to get us [ __ ] floats and some of the worst people in the world are literally in charge of stuff but the rest of us 99% of us who are just getting on with our lives we’re fairly decent people know people can be led

Astray by these charismatic charlatans and convinced that you know brexit would be a good idea or Trump voting Trump would be a great idea but no one sees themselves as a bad guy you know no sees themselves as the you know apart from the Psychopaths who run the place but

The rest of us they’ll see a stranger in need and there’s a very very human response to that is like I want to help and most humans are like that and we have to remember that when we troll through these Dreadful stories most humans just want to get on their lives

Just want to settle down find someone to love maybe raise kids just get on with their lives in peace and that’s what people want it’s the lunatics who want war and want Revolution and want crazy you know people to die for their cause whatever their cause is most people

Aren’t like that and it’s interesting that think about this when a lot of people go to war um they found that a lot of soldiers in World War I would fire above the Germans heads in in in the in the trenes and vice versa the Germans would some of them would fire

Above the British soldiers head some of the French soldiers and the reason being is because they didn’t want to take a life and so there is a regimented literally initiation thing that goes on when you join the Army to overcome to overcome that because most humans they

BK at the idea of taking a life a human life they don’t want to something deep deeply ingrained deeply programmed into their soul says this is wrong we shouldn’t be doing this and it takes years of intense re reprogramming in any given army in the world to overcome that

So I hope that that gives you a little bit of solace in the [ __ ] show that we are currently living through and there is hope there is light at the end of the tunnel especially in this country right now that most people as they get older

Like 10 45 this week um they’re becoming more and more liberal they’re becoming more and more leftwing they’re saying look we should work together collectively in order to build a better future a habitable planet a future where our children have the same opportunities no matter where they’re born what

Circumstan or what their freaking name is or their sexuality um so yeah that would be that would be good but yeah remember most people are good and you can’t judge the people of a country by the actions of that country’s government I know that I wouldn’t want people judging my

Character by the character of the Tories I’ll be back at 1:00 with Phil morouse I have gone on 15 minutes over due this is what happen and I’ve only had four hours sleep and a lot of coffee you can’t tell can you uh June 2 very very good really

What’s been happening this week and what will what’s coming next who knows uh anyway until next time thank you very much for the chat and the Super Chat gives a like on the way out and I’ll say hello good evening welcome and goodbye

  1. Richard Tice wasn't happy with Reforms result. Issue for him to do with postal votes. What is it about wealthy millionaire right wingers that they believe they were diddled in elections? Are you listening Trump?

  2. In all fairness, I think the 'cat' thing was a Big Brother task or something, I didn't think he (Galloway) did it of his own volition I think he was just playing along with the competition, from what I remember.

  3. Admire your work and no massive fan of Galloway, but when did he say he’d fix the Gaza problem. He was voted in by, id imagine. a Muslim community not at all pleased with Labour’s stance on Gaza’s. What’s your issue with that democratic process ? Look at the ramifications to Labour as a result of taking their orders from Biden and not the result of a democratic process where you didn’t like the outcome

  4. The way the mainstream media is these days, I reckon in the general election Labour could win a massive majority and I still think most of the mainstream media would try to highlight a Reform MP getting elected as the big talking point, or they will say 'Labour not won as big a majority as projected' and then point to a single poll from months ago that was an anomaly. I genuinely genuinely believe that the mainstream media is the enemy of the people, that it's out to get us and almost exclusively serves the interests of the rich and powerful. This includes the Guardian sadly, I have zero belief now that the mainstream media will ever put the interests of the majority ahead of the minority that rule us through influence and money.

  5. Most people are not good. They are indifferent, at best.
If most people were good, how would the Tories, or Israeli Likudniks, or American Republicans ever hold office?
Why would large numbers of Europeans hate immigrants ?
Why would the majority of Muslims in the world agree that the imposition of Sharia would be a good thing?

  6. If people are too thick to see what people like galaway tough shit on them. Some people believe a magic person in the clouds made everything and controls everything but doesn't do anything but then does everything 😂 morons

  7. I'm pretty sure Govie's one of the very few state school kids to have been in a Tory government recently. Grammar school, but state. The numbers of such people have imploded, I grant you.

  8. Missed this morning, overslept after watching the Rochdale clown show till 3.00am. Stopped for a bit of lunch… watching the really sad funeral in Moscow of Alexi Navalny, murdered by Putin, that former employer of Galloway on RT.

  9. Due to your comments about Owen Jones, I have unsubscribed from your channel, you sir neither educated enough about politics to know that all parties should have a broad church, and to adhere to glove puppet politics is like sheep, you never give ideas, you only repeat what main stream media are saying sometime after. You don’t react to policy you repeat policy which we can all do, sorry to say but Owen has more political education than you will ever have.

  10. What did gobshite george do for Gaza – Nothing
What did gobshite george do for Rochdale- Nothing.
What did gobshite george do for putin – he supported him.
What did gobshite george do for gobshite george – he grifted a lot.

  11. Absolutely, the whole idea of exams is a load of Victorian bullshit that serverely discriminated against SEND kids. Like I was, dyslexic and ADHD not discovered until I was 34.

  12. I think people are missing the point about the George Galloway win. It is not the people of Rochdale thinking that he will solve their proplems it is their expression of anger at the Palestinian situation and the state of politics in the UK. Galloway expressed what many feel about Sunak right off the bat in the Sky interview and Starmers shmoozing with the Friends of Israel as 30,000 Palestinians die and thousands more suffer unspeakably so that Labour fills it's coffers is what it is about.
