Michael was a child prodigy Michael was the quickest if not one of the quickest he knew when to run his timing was impeccable he knew how to make runs he was Brave his finishing was top tier he finished like somebody like who was just caressing the ball at time into the net

For them three or four years unplayable no one like it around I’m telling you he was he was a joke michelan could dribble with a ball run past people with Pace run from the halfway line score the tow poker tapin score the headers he could

Do a lot I’m going as far as to say that I think he I think he might have been harder to play against in Highland

    1. As annoying as he is and as a Newcastle fan I’m not a hater imo prime Owen is the best English striker of all time just ahead of Shearer simply because he had it all shearer lacked pace but was just clinical Owen was devastating with and without the ball

    2. I used debate who was quicker Henry or Owen. At the time I had Owen edging it in a straight sprint , but with the ball at feet, nobody catches Henry. Owen was elite 4sure

    3. If the poor bugger hadn’t had his career ruined through injury’s he would of been one of the all time greats up there with the Messi’s and Ronaldo’s his ability and strength on the ball was outstanding

    4. Defenders were out to get him all the time. It's no surprised he was damaged by harsh treatment on the field by those who couldn't catch up to him. I enjoyed watching him play back in those days. Also, they need to bring that theme music back to EPL week highlights.

    5. Haaland is miles ahead of Owen. He has been scoring a goal a game with injureies since he was at Red Bull. Look at Haaland’s impact in one year in the PL. No team in the PL can stop him. He also has Soul. Owen would go to any team for the money. He didn’t care at all about Liverpool.

    6. If he never got plagued by injuries and I know that it’s a contact sport but he would have been one of the best players ever to have kicked a ball I remember watching the games he played in and you knew there was something more than special about him a talent that only comes once every generation

    7. If you ever get the chance, go back and watch the whole game vs argentina in 98. He plays unbelievably well against world class players at 18.

    8. I will always remember sitting in Crystal Palace’s stadium watching Wimbledon vs Liverpool and a sub come on that looked like a little kid! What I didn’t realise was that it was Micheal Owen’s first game and goal for Liverpool

    9. Second only to the Original Ronaldo in his prime, both careers too short IMO.

Shows if you push them too young they break in their 20's
