Closure of the road for constructions during this week has caused a traffic chaos in the surrounding localities. I decided to give it a go on my bicycle, almost totally empty from cars.
Cycling 10km from St Paul’s Bay to St Julian’s via the Coast Road took me just a bit less than 30 minutes. It’s fun and quick. When the road’s ready (probably by the end of the summer), it should include also bicycle lanes 🙂
The road should open again on one side for usual traffic on 31/7/2015 at 5am.
