    1. Hopefully some of these lads get a crack in the senior team. Pearson, Murley and Barberry are all ready now surely? The back row is competitive for sure but we could really do with more pace on the wings.

    2. Putting the commentary teams enthusiasm for the Portuguese play aside, this was a colossal waste of time, what did Borthwick learn from this? other than Portugal aren't anywhere near good enough. If you want to test young players, send them to Argentina, Australia.

    3. I was at the game and although it was a walkover and easy to look good a number caught the eye:
      Baxter and Heyes looked strong
      Tuima has good hands
Pearson, Barbeary and Pepper could be the England proper back row.
      Randall was no nonsense
      Atkinson played clever
Muir and Murley showed great skills
Hodge I would have no problem starting full back
Hartley looks like a real prospect and again hopefully the long term 12 for England

    4. I like this England ‘A’ idea. But can we move the 6N to the summer/Autumn window and separate domestic and international responsibilities? Non internationals could play a second domestic season with players and teams from the next league down. A bit like in NZ
