This video gives a detailed review of staying at Centre Parcs Longleat for a week in February. I stayed in a lodge from Monday to Friday with my family. Arriving on a Monday and leaving on Friday we enjoyed various activities such as swimming, exploring the park, and dining at the Pancake House. The swimming facilities, including slides and raft rides, rapids and an outdoor pool. There is also the wave machine but this wasn’t filmed. There were various outdoor activities, like the Winter Wonderland event, and the light show provided by Centre Parcs. As we went in Feb in the UK, we experienced rain (a lot of rain). However, we were able to cancel our outdoor activities without penalty.
Accommodation was in a two-bedroom lodge containing en suite bathrooms, a Jacuzzi bath, and functional living spaces. I thought the lodge was clean and functional and had conveniences like a heated towel rails (which was useful for two daily sessions of swimming). I cover the accommodation and costs of the stay at the end of the video. Visits do cost a lot more over the school half-term break. Centre Parks has a family-friendly environment.
I liked the car-free policy of Centre Parcs Longleat, and getting around is easy by walking or cycling. You can bring your own bikes or rent them from the cycle centre. For long distances I would recommend use of the free land train. There are plenty of kids’ playgrounds, recycling options, and fire prevention kits.

You can be on site from 10 a.m., but you cannot check into your lodge or your accommodation until 4 p.m. But it does mean you can use all the facilities if you want while you wait. At four o’clock, the barrier opens and you can drive your car up to your lodge for unloading.
You have to drive your car back to the car park before 10 p.m. because Centre Parcs operates a no cars on site policy. And actually, that’s really nice because it means there are no cars and it’s just people walking about or getting about by bicycle. Now, you can walk around or
