Hi everyone welcome back again today let’s talk about finding a job in Germany how can you approach it okay first of all I’m not a baker but I can identify a fruit cake which means I’ve been living here for some time so let’s talk about how you can start with

Finding you a job as a foreigner because me myself I’m a foreigner I’m from Nigeria originally born and brought up in Nigeria so no fees no no so let’s get to it first of all when it comes about finding a job in Germany what do you have to think first is what

Are your chances so for example if you’re a U.S designer graphic designer or you’re an architect your field is different if you’re let’s say you’re a chef for example you know you’re working in a different you know field if you’re someone in the HR for example you know

Again a different field and you can just think about your own choices but how can you really make sure you know you thinking you’re making the right choices when it comes to like let’s say working in German okay as a final it depends let’s say if you come in already with

Good German skills and then you can apply directly in some of this job like you know you can still speak German but if you’re coming like without any knowledge of German language which means you have to apply in English and sometimes most English speaking jobs are

More in Berlin and Hamburg area kind of and I’m not sure about munching because I haven’t lived there the all my almost 10 years in Germany about 10 years in Germany I only live in Berlin so I can only speak from Berlin perspective and how things work here so scaling your

Chances means you know do extra researches on your own the market here what’s your degree what’s your qualification if it can work here if it’s not you know make your research if you just only have to translate your let’s say your Masters or whatever degree you have in your hand to jam at

Home and then you did maybe just one or two weeks a little bit be done with it and makes it valid the volume will verified it for you then you’re ready to go so now let’s talk about writing the application writing application is the same again the same like living in other

Countries for example let’s say you work wherever where you work before you have some previous references and so all of those references yes you need it my dear so which means if you have any references in German it’s like it’s called swagness so which means you know a reference letter or a working

Certificate for example this is how you can translate it so if you have some of those things you put it again with your application just like again the way you apply for job in many of those countries but it has some things also why you have you know why you’re writing your hand

Driver which is like the cover letter you know you put on your CV why you know you wrote some of the things you recently did so once you’re already done with some of those things you wrote them really nice also it’s also really you know really nice if you can include for

Example what you also like to do in your free time for example you know apart from work what do you do if you play guitar if you’re a boxer if you know no matter what you do everybody is welcome you know writing your application make it simple make it neat make it

Straightforward because Germans are like you know they are always like that but again not all of them just some of them but not also him Berlin in other City maybe yes but in Berlin No expect German to be always like this with you they are much you here because again Berlin is

Multiculty everybody is kind of like from everywhere so once you put your application together now let’s talk about finding a job so finding a job as a foreigner can be really tricky depends on where you’re coming from for example if you’re coming from from a country

Like my country in Nigeria most of our certificate is kind of it’s you know it’s not really like accepted yet they look at just like a horrible piece of paper but again you can still go to the buggy hand try to verify it and they will tell you

What you need to do so on so your chances of getting what you actually study are kind of much higher than if you don’t have anything to show her so let’s just say you are just average person you don’t have anything at all to show when I say you don’t have anything

I mean you have NADA miente so so which means you have to look for a normal job so some of this number job is also really not hard to find because for example in City Life Berlin a lot of people work in Amazon Logistics which is

You know you don’t need any degree or certificate to work you know to do those job even the dev they have deaf people and disabled people department they I never work in Amazon but I do know this about that I’m not saying it’s the best place but if let’s say for beginning

Again just to start to start moving you can do some of those job or just let’s say work a gastronomic jobs for example until you get how you hacked together but let’s say if you’re someone with a degree you know or let’s say you’re a ux designer Graphics designer architect

You’re a computer engineer and Human Resources there is a lot of places you can work so but finding this job also are not really hard there is a lot of platform here online like you can just use to search for the job and also just do don’t take your job just because you

Really in need of a job or take a job that you know maybe this job will fulfill you because this will really go a long way if you just take a job just because you just need the bar you know cash is the king don’t do it because

It’s not going to pay off in the long run at some point you know your focus will change and then you start to think the friendly try to appreciate different maybe then it might be a little bit too spit which means too late so just apply

And work in the field that is really much healthier for you and look for the best company that offer let’s say people you know who are in your industry the best contract you know try to make a little bit research if you are also applying for a job make a small research

About the company you’re working for for example if people who are saying something about the company you’re working you can say oh I didn’t know you won’t be saying I didn’t know that you can say oh sorry I know this I know that you know it’s not Ikea just in movies

And wherever what you walk also in Germany also we’re kind of determine your you know work part your work career in Germany so if you started with let’s say for example working as a UF designer or you are working for Facebook matter Berlin again depends on that direction

You’re working this also is more it’s like it’s most likely you’ll be working in that direction for a very long time so this is what I said in the beginning it’s better to do something that fulfill you than just trying to look for money again if something people use you you’re

Happy and then you can make a lot of money with your happiness so once you have all of those things and before you can also do all of those things for sure we shouldn’t forget you know you need to have like the right permit to work here

Which is you know you have the right papers right document to work and some of those things you have your handmade on and so on to work so if you don’t have some of those things you won’t be able to work maybe if you will be but

Again it might not pay off in the best way so I’m saying this because it also really important to point some of this out it’s not like you’re just coming from another country you just look for job boom and you get it without any documentation no means it’s not possible

So other than that looking for job and working finding a job in Germany how I can describe it from my home personal experience I’ve been living here for quite some time now and I think more than 10 years old yeah so um modern yeah kind of more than 10 years

Now I’ve been living here I would say from my experience it’s kind of it’s not the best best but I don’t think any country you know in the world have let’s say the best working system than Germany does I’m sorry to say maybe okay the

Country that came close to it a bit are just like Norway and Switzerland but let’s say working in Britain are you kidding me you know it’s expensive and let’s say in the U.S people are even handing let’s say three thousand living on that bridge they don’t have a house you have to share

Many things but let’s say if you’re hanging 2 000 Euro for example just example which is like kind of like the average averages in the whole Germany let’s say it’s kind of from one thousand eight to two thousand two hundred net is kind of like average salary in Germany

So if you’re hanging let’s say within this range which means every month you the money you have on your bank account is kind of like 1800 or 2200 again they can really leave I mean not the best again you can pay your rent you can eat only if you have addiction that’s the

Only way it would be really hard but if to pay your rent to Heath uh to travel you can do all those things with this type of fun here but let’s living in other countries I’m not sure how that would work because again each country has their own way of dealing with things

So with the job you do how much you pay for food your transportations and everything even some workplace even they will pay your transportation field depends on your distance from your work to your home if wherever where you’re working is more than 10 kilometer to your home your workplace has to kind of

Pay 15 of your transportation and then you pay 50 and in some companies they do pay all your transportation feel like okay we give you or maybe they’ll tell you you only have to pay 35 so some of these things there is a lot of benefits

There like getting like a job a right job in the right place but not every company will offer you distance only some of the ones that they have you know they think about some of the things they could really that could used to benefit you know their employees so some of them

They think this way so finding job means finding what is right for you and finding what makes you happy it’s not about just doing a job and just because you want to eat now take your time just do it the right way so that’s it guys thank you very much thanks for watching
