1986年、LOOKはTVT社（現在のTIME）との技術提携によりフロントフォークまでカーボン製のフルカーボンフレーム「KG86」でツールに参戦。これを駆ったイノーと若きチームメイト、グレッグ・レモンが歴史に残る争いを繰り広げ、レモンが総合優勝、イノーが総合2位に入った。
これがカーボンフレームによる初のツール制覇で、LOOKの歴史の中でも唯一のツール総合優勝となっている。
自転車の世界に登場してから約30年と、決して老舗とは言えないLOOKだが、これまで生み出してきた製品やテクノロジーはレースでの伝説的な活躍とともに、世界中のサイクリストから尊敬と憧れの視線を向けられている。
