Welcome again to another one of our videos and thank you so much for watching.

    We need your help!

Please comment if you can help us plan our trip to Europe, the route is planned, but we need help finding quaint little towns/villages with bustling restaurants and cafe bars, loads of atmosphere and pretty surroundings. So if you know anywhere like that along our route please let us know.

We have traveled Europe before and found some lovely places like Colmar in France and want to find more places like that, but need help or your experience of similar places.

You can follow our journey over 6 to 8 week period travelling, the highs and the lows, the smiles and the ### oh well whatever 😆😄

    Thank you in advance.

We have put some links below to some of the places we like and hope to visit along the way.

Okay hi everyone um we we’re looking for uh some of your help if we can uh we’re planning a trip uh to Switzerland uh Bel we’re going through Belgium so we’re going to stop at Belgium mhm we’re stopping at um Germany is it not there yeah we’re stopping at

German oh yeah it is yeah we’re stopping at Germany um rud design colar then we’re going on to the black forest then we’re going to Switzerland uh at uh nid Welden um and then we’re going further on in Switzerland to grinder world grindle world grindle world then we’re going to Lake

An we’re going to go to the Verdon Gorge and then tenise I’ll show you the map on screen And what we’re looking for is little towns are Villages that are bustling that are really pretty where there’s lots of people and and there is restaurants Cafe bars that type of thing yeah we don’t want like Town centers like that look like Manchester or anything like that I know don’t mind

The odd city as long as it’s like pretty and picturesque but yeah yeah little Villages towns medieval Villages that sort of thing that we weing something that’s bustling yeah you know and you can sit outside you can people watch nice lovely place to walk around yeah shops uh quaint shops and uh mainly

That we can have coffee outside a little bit of lunch and then move on uh to somewhere else so on the map you’ll see the route that we’re going to take so we’ve got the basic route we know that some of the places we’ve been to like um

Col Kar that it’s lovely uh the the garge uh div Von is um lovely as well we’ve been around there before we want to do that again we’ve been to the Switzerland uh at nid uh nit Walden there’s a a place around the the lake

There um which we want to camp again uh we’re going to see your brother aren’t we while we’re there hopefully yeah again he lives in orar don’t he he’s in alaf and we’re going to uh what’s the city car there oh um lucern lucern yes which is a really lovely city very

Pretty is it yeah of flowers lovely bridge over the river Lovely isn’t it yeah so if there’s anywhere along the the the map you know that you can see that you can help us with we did go on YouTube and there was this couple wasn’t

There um and they was at colar and um they gave us um five different places near near colar that was only a 15 20 minutes drive So so we took a note of them um because she went round didn’t she’s showing you the places and it was just like just what we like so we have noted them down and we’re going to that’s why we’re staying is it three nights we’re staying there at where at

Coma um I think four nights four nights yes CU we thought we could do two places one day and the other two places another day didn’t we yeah one is eazim yeah uis or however you pronounce it yeah what’s the next is it reille kerberg yeah

Kerberg was um Rick Rick yeah R rille so those are the four places around colar what we what we’re doing we’re taking a scooter with us and we’re going to go into these towns um B on and and and have a look around uh but we’re looking

For towns like that that’s well while we’re down there and on the trip where we can call so if you know of any pretty places is that’s worth calling in and having a look please leave them in the comments cuz it’ll be worth because it is quite Dar in planning a trip because

We’ve only done it once before haven’t we um to we T France didn’t we we we’ve done it more than once no I mean in the motor home we’ve only done it once or was it twice we’ve done it now yeah in the in the no three times cuz we did it

In the California in the chasson in the wild Act and oh of course yeah yeah you know what I mean you forget about all them and we’ve done it on the bike we’ve done it on the bike many times yeah but that wasn’t that was with a guide wasn’t it a

Tour guide wasn’t it so we didn’t actually plan that Ro no we didn’t plan it we didn’t plan it so um and we’ve done that many of times it but it is dating isn’t it because you know it doesn’t always go to plan and sometimes

You end up going the wrong way and then something’s took you 4 hours instead of it taking two hours and and you know so you sometimes you can end up losing a day can’t you just because you’ve gone wrong yeah we did the North Coast last

Time um down to lell and then Bordeaux yeah and we love that um but unfortunately I had me heart attack um so what we want to do this time is come down the other coast uh the other coast there’s no Coast there but down the side of Germany and Belgium and um head

Towards nice and then we’re gonna go to avun and go that way back unless someone can tell us oh you know visit this place on your way back visit that place while you’re there yeah that’s what we’re looking for so if there’s anything that you can give us we’d really appreciate

That and we’re we’re going to do a video of the trip we’re hoping to stay around six weeks maybe eight weeks depending on how we you know how we go I think it’ll go a bit longer this time because we’re giving ourselves a little bit more time

Each because we we said last time we probably did a bit too much traveling and we didn’t give ourselves enough time at each place did we to explore it more and then have a chill day where you’re not doing anything you know where you can just sit outside your van and just

Chill out nicely and that and then do you traveling then the next day onto the next place so campsites towns Villages anything like that anything that’s worth a visit yeah please tell us give us a shout in the comments because that’ll go uh brilliantly for us and you can follow

Us on our YouTube channel yeah um we’re going in the uh dreamer the the 68 with our madeup beds as you know uh which we’ve only just got at Christmas time we’ve only been out in it a few times and we’re going to do a video again uh I

Walk around the van again but telling you what we like and what we dislike like and um hopefully we’ll have some new videos for you coming along so you know um is there anything else you want to ask for uh help for or um not at the

Moment I can’t think of anything no do we can add it on Yeah than

    1. Hi if you are travelling in Switzerland on 1 August you can see the celebrations of Switzerland day. I was at Interlaken a few years ago and it was well worth a visit. Take care Gill

    2. Guys you absolutely must put Equiesham on your list – it's a few miles from colmar and way prettier in my opinion ❤ also if going to titusee then I can definitely recommend Camping Sandbanks ❤ enjoy your trip. X

    3. Hi guys your right up our street 🤣 we love the smaller bustling places to, when you get to Grenoble drive round the periferique and come off onto the N85 rout napoleon, follow to Gap and Sisteron great road ( you will wish you were on the bike) nice places to stop Sisteron is particularly lovely other places around there if you can get the chance are Barcelonnett, Grass, Fayence, frejus st Raphael, of course the gorge, (you will definitely miss your bike) or go around it on the scooter our Vespa px managed it 🤣 if you get to Frejus look for “lei Suves camping” near Roqurubrune sur Argens, great area to explore on the scooter lots of nice villages, Frejus old centre is nice to visit great little cafe’s and you also have a near complete Roman amp theatre. Beaches at St Raphael and loved coast road to st Tropez and La Lavendou, we have spent a bit of time exploring the area over the last 30 years as you can guess, lei suves is a keeper for us great restaurant superb swimming pool nice staff, and some great rides into the hills around, it’s in the ACSI book it’s reasonable quiet as well, in a not teeming with kids sort of way, we’re down there poss in May but definetely in September, and most of all you will get some sunshine fingers crossed not the heatwaves we have had here for the last 3 years 🥵 oh nearly forgot lei Suves is in a cork tree plantation so lots of shade, Look forward to your travels….. Pete & Sarah🇫🇷

    4. I’ll remind myself of other places to visit and campsites for on the loop back, if you get as far as frejus give yourself at least 3 days to chill and to go visiting, … Pete 🇫🇷

Pete 🇫🇷

    6. Hi, make a detour when in Switzerland to the town of interlaken it’s loverly but then must go up to the valley of Lauterbrunnan , 40 minute journey . Totally stunning and has a 4*campsite in the valley of waterfalls within a 10 minute walk into town with everything you would need pubs and restaurants ect . Also must take the mountain railway up to Wengen and other villages for breathtaking views. A rail pass is something to consider if you are there for 3-5 nights . You will want to go back if you see it in good weather , not cheap but amazing spectacular scenery . Looks like a great route you are planning and we also have done similar to you on motorbikes and caravans but now we have a motorhome and must mention Freiburg is a must after Colmar as you head towards Lucerne . So much to see and do. Whatever enjoy your trip 👍

    7. Hi, while you are visiting The South of France, visit to Port Grimaud, it is a lovely place. You can catch a boat to St Tropez. We stayed at Holiday Marina Resort in our motorhome last year.
