[Applause] Right hello and welcome back so again I re my journey around the United Kingdom on the bicycle uh so today is the first season uh first day um starting on the B move uh so as we can see here it’s really nice um so just a bit of
Information uh so I start with the sunrise and then finish with the sunset uh pretty much I give update uh every hourish uh because yes um the way I decided by today’s day intensity is 45 minutes ride and then for 15 minutes rest on this period of rest I’m going to eat
Um yeah I like that and then pretty much so on the update it’s been a lot so from the mountain bike I picked growl instead uh it’s much more efficient uh and uh in this journey I go supported fully supported so basically I I travel ultra
Light um don’t have much on my on myself stuff uh pretty much like a water uh first a kit uh repair kit uh bicycle and that’s it so expect to today uh on distance roughly what um 100K Nice so let’s the journey begin then and enjoy the natural view around the United Kingdom so those those kind of mini like a houses storage uh houses basically are the very unique to Bor and then on the season time people live here uh it’s really like efficient it’s literally by the
Seaside so thumbs up really good idea toilets everything here around water stations it’s pretty amazing views around so I’m heading towards Port uh the altitude is pretty low in comparison with the with the whales side so I’m really confident with that um so I’ve been a while from the
Vlogging um so what I’ve been doing uh besides the traveling uh since probably last year uh so basically I so what I’ve been doing uh besides traveling so when I finished last my journey when I closed the season uh I have intensively training dedicated training towards the mountain cycling uh to
Increase uh everything stamina power mainly like like really like basically uh towards the competitions um so about the competition so I register on the Sherwood Forest competition in March 23 which is um just about a month time about more statistic about the competitions so it’s it’s 83 kilm uh in the Sherwood
Forest which is um really navigational with with the sharp TS uh like a like a pretty Mountain bik gravel type of uh cycling uh with the hybrid of forest unpaved paved paths all kind of stuff so all this time I’ve been been training for this and so today is the Like official day
Start again longer Journeys so that that kind of Journeys is for me just to get like uh stamina so I do like 100k uh I’m not film uh the other parts what I’m doing on the bicycle as well but they’re also involved like skill ride so it’s like really crazy sharp uh
TS uh lot of adrenaline basically based uh training Fray but I will consider that as well to record cuz anyway I do recording but I’m not posting on the social media as I as I while recording in video editing so so I can see pretty much uh my
Mistakes my manuver ring the bicycle handling skills all that kind of stuff also the training includes um strength training basically gy uh and then heat sessions on the indoor bicycles um so yeah so that that all that kind of stuff uh I’ve been preparing for and this time I come back
Ah really confident and much much more stronger than than last year so I make a lot of upgrades which is the main one is the bicycle uh why I used one cuz uh new proof bicycles as itself brand are super expensive maybe for others not really but my pocket yeah
So so just to get um bicycle in the right condition just because I buy used like pretty much like right off uh it’s being damaged uh mainly whole Parts need to change it so so what I’ve been doing while I’m training uh on the longer uh
Training uh off seon I’ve just picked on the Facebook Market basically the part expensive quality but used one so so it’s considered really cheap in terms of the quality so in 150 100 kilom radius uh so basically left for home drive there buy the part and come back
So in that period is really essential to have a some some sort of motivation which is for me uh little upgrades on the bicycle uh is like a dopamine spikes really badly so it’s like really nice to feel that cuz cuz basically each ride you will buy the
Part so on the front you’re driving for the part you back and then while you off rest on the for the other days you put the part on the bicycle and then yeah you’re really Keen to to test it uh for example like a stem um uh pedals all that kind of stuff
Basically which is possible upgrade uh other than that basically about the quick information uh so as soon I finish with the with a competition on 23rd March share with for uh I’ll have a week off little holidays and then then I will start intensively training on uh Iron Man
Competition which the other world called uh Triathlon so in dependence of the read there is a few options to pick from in terms of the distance uh so yeah so depends how I will be ready I will pick the distance and I will make a decision in the month
Uh before the comp competition starts so the competition of the Iron Man is end of the summer so I’m still have to have a look to get more more details about the altitude how difficult to to to actually participate and then complete the everything um as like for for our
First uh ever attempt to do that uh to and 60 M continue straight on Harbor Road follow this way for 700 M in terms of further training on on the Iron Man which one is it that one no so I will train for a full arm Iron Man now
Was as I’ve been closely monitoring um my weakest point and then searching about that as well while uh doing the mountain bike training so I can pretty much understand my uh abilities and then weaknesses uh cuz I I know that my cycling is the strong
Part so I will keep it this as a pleasure so I’ll still carry on uh cycling around the United Kingdom uh but tree that as as a long distance training for our Iron Man so I will start to more talk about uh training preparations nutritions everything how I get along with that
Also uh cast plan include swimming and running so I explain that how I get along with this as well um cuz on the swimming I’m completely new running running I would say so far the longest I ever run distance was 127 okay yeah miss the so the longest was 20K
Um without actually like just like a pleasure ride without any detail cuz regular I’ve been running quite a lot uh but bicycle urance and the Iron Man training is really relative so it will help me to to basically to settle in into the training as as apparently just to get
Started training for that sort of the uh competitions you need to work for quite few months just to get understand and then uh train for the actual training program silly how it sounds but but it takes a while to to learn the actual um technique um and there is so much
Information how to do it so yeah it’s it’s a long project and whatever I achieve for this year I will carry on for next season m go straight and continue on long distance cycle Bay then in 30 m keep left on to long distance cycle Bay in0 Contin straight on long so it’s a lot to catch up what has been in the last when I Clos the season uh about that will get back uh by time to time into it but let’s get to the present and 300 M and here is the day one
Uh not going to be very super intensive um as I said before it will be 45 minutes ride and 15 minutes rest from the Sun price to the sunset uh aiming to get 100 kilm at least and then second uh they will be all out so pretty
Much similar tactic as the first one but it will be where T ah there but that there will be every 2 hours Stop basically and then I do eat like 45 minutes drive and then 15 minutes eat but that 15 minutes eat instead it will be on the on the actual
Bicycle oh my God so nice place oopsie um also what’s is is different from day one to day no worri uh from day two so day one is more gravel uh type of uh cycling so it’s like that kind of conditions basically paved a little bit mixture with a little rocks sand uh
Ground and day two will be more about the mountain biking so mountain bike path and completely off and then I’ll go just the water on me and then fully supported basically uh and then fully out so I’m not going to scared to to go quick and save energy so I want to test
It how much I prepared basically for for the competition so I will try to get 83 [Applause] kilomet uh race race Tempo basically yes we see you soon [Applause] then morning guys second day uh chich unique really nice place basically on the left side B houses um does looks like they are for
Sale cuz I just seen the basically the sign uh they’re really nice so the people who like to go on the canals and travel um basically on the water it’s just a brilliant uh way to to travel and to see around uh on the on the right side
Basically uh a ton of different shipes oh absolutely nice place so that’s how the next day morning looks like a bit Frosty around some people scraping windows and then yep yep preparing PO for the morning oops I missed t so last day it was in an interesting day
Uh so I have a story to tell second part of the day uh I’ve noticed that uh basically my tire is flat um but it wasn’t super big hole so I was driving 45 minutes and I know when I arrest I just uh blow a couple blows
And I carry on um so it was a tiny hole but then I just gave up cuz I knew I was just wasting so much time um so and the actual to take uh Tire of the rim it was a Madness it was super hard so I just gave a chance and then
Went to go outddors uh there uh I seen young bloke um explain like I have a puncture basically could you help me to fix it yeah no problem so actually uh he take off everything is fine so the uh my inner tube never seen this before like this like a patch on
Patch on patch basically quite destroyed but it’s still usable so blow air inside try to find the hole I say you’re not going to hear anything you just need to use the water cuz there is a tiny hole and he just okay he say like uh I will
Change for free you know you’ll get a new inner tube and then he gave me the new type of uh which is U with the liquid inside which is sealable itself uh so yeah I was happy about it uh so he just put so he just mounted and try to
Good for half hour to put it back as it’s really hard to put Tire on the rim uh you use you know the tools uh so wasn’t able to do on his own so asked for a colleague help so yeah so I was just laughing inside basically yeah it
Was funny to to look at it um fixed it all good uh last check need to pump the air inside and there is nothing in there not going air basically what they’ve missed they haven’t checked the actual Tire where was the glass still inside both disappointed again we have to redo it so
As we can see on the picture that’s how it looks like new inner tube um so second attempt basically then the he cleaned it um again uh it was a challenge to put back on but uh then uh I share little tips how it would be like a quicker way so
Like WD40 it help to basically easier yes so put on and then just I spent so much time in there like a couple of hours so he seeing I’m a bit annoyed because of time I’m not going to make it 100K today so uh he say like sorry about
That um like this is the free of charge um yeah so bring my mood back but that was the reason it stops Me by moving further it just a lit technical issues as we wrap up today’s journey I can’t help but smile at the unexpected turns at the stories they’ve brought into our
Lives it’s it’s the unexpected moments like the detour to Portsmouth that often bring us to the most joy and memorable stories to share I hope you’ve enjoyed riding along with it through this adventure sharing in the laugh and the beauty of embracing the unknown the journey is far from over and
I’m excited to see what lies ahead of on the road so until we meet again in the next video keep exploring keep laughing and always stay curious thank you for being a part of this adventure with me see you on the next one
