One second I I’m in I’m in bu Wells now guys and a lovely man here is going to chat to me about the history of BU Wells because I don’t know nothing about the place uh yeah the uh River here yeah was the crossing plat between Wales as in Welsh Wales and the
Norman marchlands okay so this was all border country okay that’s why up there you have a big castle right so that was one of Edward the first castles right so when he buil Conway and canavan and all the rest of it yeah that was one of the first ones
He built right so I was all part of that uh so this was for a long time this was a market town and a very historic fighting Town wow okay it’s amazing um then um mid 19th century it became a spart right um they found uh mineral
Waters here okay which is where where the wells B comes from yeah um and it became quite a popular tourist destination okay and for oh 40 years 50 years wow grew and uh important crossing point of the river so if you want to go north
South in Wales you got to AC go across that bridge right that bridge there yeah and that’s the the which river is that that’s the Y the river y here or the river way just the river way just the river way yeah H and all that is on it
So literally that goes east to west across Wales wow that’s amazing uh it cuts Wales in half basically and you have to go across that bridge if you going north south anywhere from North Wales South Wales pretty much got to go across that bridge so this was an important t for that reason
Um went through some rough times early 20th century and then the uh roll showc okay which is like one of the biggest shows in in UK yes um is that with the horses horses animals very big agricultural uh show so yeah much I can see as well the these
Buildings how old how old these buildings are uh 1876 that one was built 1876 876 that’s amazing you know that’s what’s that 100 13 almost 50 years old yeah that’s amazing yeah a lot of this is goes back to then when when the tour when this was all a
Tourist town right okay there was a lot of rebuilding done okay um there are all the houses um the actual Church the big church in the churchyard the Tower of that is actually Norman wow that’s amazing um and there’s some of the houses up that way which go back uh 400 years that’s
Amazing but uh most of this was actually is actually built uh during Victorian times so how many years ago that 300 years ago 100 years ago a lot of this uh that bridge start first buil Bridge was built there uh 1720s wow that’s amazing yeah all right amazing thank you

Deco on the uh on the archery there that hasn’t changed in just shy of 150 years what a thing of the past what a beautiful what a beautiful important Town Beau nor Wells is look at the colors the colors of the of of of this building this is one of the most unique
Buildings I’ve seen in the while is absolutely gorgeous absolutely stunning bit of bit of architecture there look at that look at that I don’t know if you see that there as well it’s just a beautiful beautiful stone stone building which represents be Welles a lot wow let’s check out the

The information center where you can come and buy your merchandise your um you can buy your souvenirs Etc and pay for your parking up to 60 Minutes free which is which is good so up to an hour which is free brilliant got my Coke Zero cost me £150 quite expensive but
