Around 5pm, we are making a biking tour in Salou, at this time, everybody is in the sea splashing fun. So our bike ride will appear with pure city views. However, If you wanna ride bikes in Salou, it’s highly recommended to do it in the early morning, when it’s still cool and not too many people in the street. And remember to keep getting yourselves hydrated.

    Salou is a municipality of the comarca of Tarragonès, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain. The city is approximately 10 km from Tarragona and Reus on the Costa Daurada and 112 km from Barcelona. Aside from its string of beaches interrupted by rocky coves, and its landscaped promenade, one of its main attractions is the PortAventura World resort.

    Salou is founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC., the city constituted an outstanding commercial port during the Middle Ages and the Modern Age. Throughout the 20th century, Salou, located on the so-called Costa Dorada , became an important tourist center, a condition that it maintains today.

    1. I know Salou has a lot of 70's buildings, but with all the trees both on the seafront and the back streets, it still manages to be an attractive resort. Have always enjoyed visiting Salou.
