Neither I nor the unmarked police car had any effect on his mobile phone usage.

    1. I think the reason van drivers do it so often is because they have their mobile numbers as main source of contact on their adverts for small businesses, and whenever they do get a call, they want to immediately take it rather than have it divert or stop driving to to answer it.

    2. While I totally agree phone use while driving is against the law, I think using it whilst stationary with foot on the brake or hand brake on isn’t really a dangerous move, but yes driving whilst using it is very dangerous.

    3. Still fighting the good fight, Mikey. Keep it up, there's only a few more million drivers out there that could potentially be using their phones while driving. 😉😂….🤔….😔

    4. Mikey, the van wasn't even moving. Try catching those driving and using their mobiles at 20, 30 40 mph and higher instead. They are much more dangerous. And don't go riding on footpaths.

    5. I don’t understand why professional drivers especially don’t invest 20 quid in a phone mount and go hands free. It’s still not ideal, but you’re a bit more covered legally, provided you don’t cause an accident while on the phone.

    6. People hear saying he's guilty because he ignored some stranger banging on his window – bunch of idiots. Some stranger deliberately bang on my window while driving will be on the floor with their bike in my boot then later destroyed. This driver done what the Police say & that is to ignore fools trying to incite roadrage by touching their property, phone use or not
