What a stay in Saint Tropez ! We walked to Port Grimaud to catch the ferry to Saint Tropez they run hourly and cost €16 pp return. Advice get there early ! We arrived 30 mins before the 10:35 departure and we were the last two to get on that time slot. Anybody else in the queue would have to wait an hour for the next.
Loved the crossing passing the mega yacht’s OMG 🛥️ the size and wealth.
Had a mooch about the port and an expensive cappuccino ☕️people watching. It was buzzing and really busy which surprised us, until we realised there was a yacht event on.
We walked to a bit of a viewpoint and loved exploring the quiet streets away for the port, beautiful. Had a delicious lunch of steak 🥩 frites 🍟for Lee and mussels, seabass for Jen, finished with a crème brûlée- delicious.
Another wander soaking up the designer, wealthy, expensive atmosphere passing Dior, Gucci – it was nice to dip our toes in and at least pretend for a few hours – another world x before heading back to the campsite and to Luna 🚐 xx 🥂🏖️🛥️🇫🇷☀️#france #sainttropez #roadtrip #frenchroadtrip #motorhome #laika #photography
Right well we’re at Port grond uh near santrape and uh the weather again is absolutely gorgeous uh a little bit too warm really but hot it’s very hot we’ve got a bit of shade here um really enjoying the uh Journey down here as well it was a nice
Journey fairly cheap the uh talls about €17 on one of them and 25 on the other no it was 11 and 16 oh 11 and 16 so it’s even cheaper and uh yeah fantastic so this is day seven is it day eight of our trip yeah day seven day seven yeah and
We’re there for five nights uh so we’re going to enjoy uh going in the sea uh maybe even kayak in the sea uh we’re going to go on a few bik rides and just generally chill out because our next trip after this is to nice and that’s
Where we’ll be doing more of the city stuff you know going in to Monaco and stuff on the train uh but for now it’s it’s just a relaxation isn’t it uhhuh okay let’s go A Oh we’re now in santra uh we just rode down here on our bikes and uh the odd Ferrari keeps popping by porches Aston Martins uh Jenny’s just gone inside the shop uh to find some fly repellent um candles or scent have you found any Jen yeah 264 you got your wallet yeah oh
Good she’s found some cuz she keeps getting B not by me there we go so from the campsite at Fort gon it’s around about 4 miles to Sant so it’s not too bad it’s taking us 20 minutes on a bike and uh you’re in the heart of it then Well good morning we’re on our walk now to port gond and uh again the sun is glorious so let’s get going so because the campsite split up into two parts you have to walk through the uh tunnel underneath the road the road now the campsite is a really nice site very
Very well it’s very big isn’t it yeah very big site busy I mean ridiculous cues wasn’t it yesterday I think we had to queue up for what 2 hours an hour and an hour wasn’t it just to go to reception yeah which has been a bit of a difference from
Where we’ve stayed previously but because of the time of year there’s not that many sites open the difference is is that when you’re driving down here you see all the the campsites are completely full aren’t they yeah so what is really good though is you’ve got these cycle ways
Um this is a point of the camera that way there was a an ass I’m sure um yeah you got all these cycle ways it’s like it’s just just France is really good for it isn’t it really it is yeah much better than the UK I think
It’s a good location for seeing parkand and sane and going off to F AG just in s rapael as you say it’s it is big I think very different top St before I think you prefer the smaller ones and the more well we peaceful what what I find
Wherever you sit on this campsite you’ve got this road noise next to you and it’s quite a busy road isn’t it it’s like it’s like an A6 um road if you live in the Northwest other us um so yeah it’s just very noisy but you get used to it it wasn’t
Noisy at night though was it no no it was all right actually you’re just in the day just you’re just there a it the background Noise Nice I love Different level of wealth here makes you feel poor So where are we have to Jen today we are out on the bike as you can see and we’re heading over to freu and St Rafael brilliant about 20 miles gorgeous weather in the sun following the cycle path which the everywhere in France which is the bonus and the coast is just
The other side of that H yeah superb [Applause] [Applause] A [Applause] [Applause] He [Applause] [Applause] A look at that come On [Applause] morning we’re on our route today to Port gond again uh but this time we’re going to go on the ferry uh over to Sant Trope uh it’s €1 16 return in total is is it is it 32 32 uh in total return which is I think it’s
Reasonable uh and that gets to santre and you can have a good walk around because believe me it’s really busy to drive around s try cycling there the other day didn’t we and think you’d have to just cycle there park your bikes up and walk around it wasn’t it was just
Busy narrow little streets wasn’t it yeah and the uh as you can see the traffic jams it’s just really it’s just a really busy place isn’t it around here yeah yeah you know morning Russia it’s just an always busy road isn’t it this for sure anyway uh so
We’re on our way the weather is a lovely sort of 15 16° maybe a bit warmer now in the morning and then it gets to about 25 26 in the day so it’s just a really good temperature in October now aren’t we second and third of October so so uh
Very good okay see you in see you in Centra Peg the ground will shake the veil will be Tor I’ll make you wish you Never you so this is some kind of sailing event in Sentra Shar my tee thinking indeed I’ll make You I’ll make You I’ll make you I’ll make You

Saint Tropez is a very nice part of the world. The coastal drive is fantastic too although you can easily get stuck behind shower vehicles. Like motorhomes haha 😅
You'll love Monaco as well. Such a treat to go there. I had to do an F1 track walk. It's just like the games! Happy travels!
