SURROUNDED BY JELLYFISH! (Vanlife – Le Ciotat + Les Calanques, France)

Bonjour from us!

After the stress of Marseille, we sought refuge in a town called Le Ciotat, a short drive east along the coast, where we found ample street parking a minutes walk from a sandy beach overlooking the Medierranean Sea.
The waters were calm and the weather bright, so we planned a day trip to Les Clanques, a range of rocky cliffs with secluded, natural coves and beaches.
We picked La Calanque de Figuerolles, closest to the town, which has a historic and curious relationship with a cafe there.
The beach was busy, but why was no one was swimming in these clam, twinkling, turquoise waters?
We discovered why, but with our wetsuits, AKA body armour, we decided to brave it!
But did we survive unscathed??
