Bicycle Touring Spain Day 5 – The Volcanic Zone // During the 5th day of my tour in Catalonia, Spain I begin the day by hiking up and into a volcano. I later pick up my camping gear at the camp site and make my way along the Vias Verdes toward Girona. The day ends with a fantastic sunset over the meadows as I enter Costa Brava.

    1. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do a shot of me pitching the tent or a summary of the day. First of all it was pitch black when I finally called it quits for the day. And second, I put up my tent just a few hundred meters outside a residential area. So I kept hearing people all the time. Maybe it was just me being paranoid.
But this was basically the last chance of wild camping before I hit the coast. Which would have made putting up the the almost impossoble. You'll see why in the next video. In the meantime, enjoy this one!

    2. Another good video, Mikael. Thank you for all the extra trouble you go to for making them and sharing your travels. Always a good mix of talk and scenery. It's nice to see the sunshine in a grey January!

    3. Great video again, Mikael! Coming here from Bicycle Touring, I enjoy yours just as much as Darren's, so I'm glad I now have two favourites bicycle travel channels. Greetings from snowy city of Brașov!

    4. Are you enjoying your bike traveling? It looks like you caught Darren's bug; bicycle touring for a way of life. I like it simply for the fact of being close to something God naturally made with his creative intelligence. Natural landscapes, etc are pure and good. Everything the majority of the time is serene along with pleasant scents and visualizations. It's good for the soul. Nice time to be with God too!

    5. Nice videos for the spanish trip. You mentioned using a camcorder on one of your trips, which type d you use? I have a Sony cx240 and was thinking of how the quality may compare while cycling (moving) ps how do you keep the videos steady while cycling? I notice you and Darren are good at this
