how I bike in the winter
Here’s how I biked through the Finnish winter 26 inch mountain bike tires on a mountain bike if you’ve got some money I could probably recommend you get some wider tires or get some studs if you’re like me and you can’t then try to avoid taller bikes as you often need your feet
To help steer yourself while you slide the rest is just experience it can be a little bit intimidating you’ll slide you’ll fall many many times until one day you trust your tyres more than you trust your feet don’t worry about the cold don’t worry about the snow it is
Your friend easy to ride in perfect for breaking your fault what gets you are these warm sunny days when the ice begins to melt that will end up leaving you hurting now I’ll tell you many years biking had been my primary means of transport day in day out on great days
On days when the mercury would hit down to minus 40 through rainstorms through blizzards 30 to 40 kilometres a day that’s about 20 miles a day every day it would take me to work it would take me to class it would take me wherever I wish to go I can’t recommend
You ride through the winter like I have but if you do do take proper precautions dress well stay hydrated and do wear a helmet now I hope you did enjoy this video if you did please press that like button if you didn’t you can hit dislike otherwise
