Front which really makes them stand out from the crowd they’re a full leather shoe and the front caps here and the heel cap here they’ve been just added to with like like hellc core leather which is just a a thicker tougher more abrasion resistant Leather So if you’re

Stubbing with toes or what have you or scraping it against pedals they’re just going to stand up to it a little bit more and they’re not going to um tear as easily the the leather itself has been treated uh with like a kind of waterproofing agent that just allow the

Water to to run off it does wear down so you do have to make sure that you top it up um kind of round the rest of the shoe you can see that the shoe is compatible with spds it’s not a carbon sold shoe but it does have the fiberglass

Protection sorry not the fiberglass protection the fiberglass um reinforced nylon sole that makes the shoe really really stiff I mean that’s a stiff shoe it also has like a real rub Rubber Sole so when it gets really cold um well I I guess when it gets really cold you’re

They’re going to be less prone to slipping on ice but like nothing’s infallible the other thing that’s really neat about these shoes is you can buy these extra c cap covers as such so you can use this as a flat shoe as well with no kind

Of hole in the middle and they just bolt down with the screws that come with a packet of the click covers these are available separately though uh the price varies depending on where you are in the world so uh all around this shoe is like a really nice addition it’s a winter shoe

That will allow you to ride with comfortable feet all the way down to aboutus 10 is what they say the one thing about this shoe is it does not feature Lakes insulated insole so this is like the standard insole that you can buy now I imagine if

You wanted to um buy if you like the insulated insoles that that LEL which are available separately as well you could put that into here it’s not going to match the shape of the shoe perfectly but it won’t matter too much much if you’re care like recommend that you buy

A size to size and a half up so be prepared to if you like buy a pair of these and maybe send them back or buy two pairs if you’re not quite sure um ideally you want to be coming into a shop and trying it on if not use Lake

Sizing guide on the website and add a full size up I have a pair of the CX 146 shoes and I’m definitely definitely definitely a full size up from what I normally ride so the advice is sound it’s just because of the inside of the shoe features um like if you like more
