Today we take a look at Libra Speciality Chemicals Ltd, Brinell Dr, Irlam, Manchester M44 5LF.

We speak to many staff members including the Managing Director who attempts to whack the drone controller out of my hand whilst the drone is in the sky.

He then comes nose to nose so gets pushed back.

And hit my arm and then I sort of went to defend myself and he kept on approaching then more of his staff at one time when I called the police it’s because I had about five staff all surrounding me being aggressive telling me to [ __ ] off and getting right up in

My face nose to nose Okay so calling the police was sort of a a last resort for me just to get them away they have gone away now so there’s no immediate threat I’m happy to uh continue and if they come back out I’ll call you back and if you want to

Send anybody to deal with the assault that’s entirely your choice but it’s no longer you have a description of who did it was your white male white male uh blue shirt bald head but as I say my body cam is rolling I’ve got it all on footage on 4K

Members also uh I’m sure there might be assault on there that’s captured but I’ll have to see I’ll review the footage and then I’ll upload it to Greater Manchester Police website for you to uh see if you want to do anything about it but um the purpose of calling the police

Was just to get the pack of wolves back uh on site cuz I was outside I was outside on the public foot path being uh surrounded uh in front of the director who condoned the behavior of the staff they didn’t want to be filmed they didn’t want the Drone to fly over um

Right so I uh I don’t don’t allow intimidation of uh companies to stop lawful activities from a public foot path so that’s where we are with it um I waited for 10 minutes for any unit to arrive and then I moved on carried on the industrial estate

Filming what what filming with a drone where you did you say drone and a camera yeah 249 G drone it’s under the way there’s no minimal distances to the commercial buildings no I mean you need restrict excuse me you name restriction here is probably about an earth field but that’s um

That’s still quite a distance away yeah when when I filmed um Hil Hilty Distribution Center that was within the Barton restriction zone so I’ve phone I’ve made a phone call to Barton Aerodrome and I’ve I’ve even got an email back from them approving the Drone

Flight so don’t don’t go on I mean it’s only to me like you know what you’re talking about sir I’m guessing you you’re fully qualified drone pilot you had your license on yourself your operator ID and your drone labeled up of course all documented on the body war

With drones in a his job um so you you’re focusing quite you’re focusing quite a lot on the Drone as if like the company’s made some accusation of a drone you’ve not really focused on the assault is there any reason why just at the moment I’m just trying

To figure out what’s going on um I I’ve about the assault now um I’m just like like I said I’m just trying to piece together the job um from start to finish so you’ve come you’ve started flying the Drone and they’ve become unhappy and then you’ve said a pack of wolves do you

Mean our security team or members of staff at liquid this is the timeline so yeah director number one arrives and I’ve told him don’t worry I’m filming for a YouTube video it will involve me standing outside the company for 20 minutes and a drone will go over so while whilst we’re

Talking the second director arrives who yeah immediately goes hands on with the Drone controller so endangering an aircraft endangering uh persons yeah whilst in control of an aircraft that’s a criminal offense in itself but has he um tries to smack the Drone controller out my hand I then

Defend myself and a little bit of a uh you more contact happens yeah then staff pack of wolves that I call the staff come out about four of them all together trying to defend defend from Aid yeah from the same company yeah yeah so the aggressive director now

Retreats and leaves it to his staff to also try and get me to disappear whilst the Drone still in the air yeah they wouldn’t leave me alone I felt threatened hence 999 was dialed right and are you injured at all sir no not injured you said so if they tried to

Knock the Drone out your hand have they physically hit you in any way yeah whil I’m my right hand was holding the Drone his arm physically touched my left my my right arm was Swit holding the the controller yeah I’m just got to review review the footage cuz it all it all

Happened so quick I’d rather watch it back and and then upload it for you right okay do you uh are you local to the area sir no I’m on the way back to Leicester now oh you live in leer right right okay um I mean in in regards

To the incident a crime will have gone in um I’ve not had a chance to look at the log yet in regards to what what crime that is uh potentially a crime for common assault or potentially a crime for section four public order causing you know intentional harassment alarm or

Distress now I know you said you’ve got you know a body warn video of the incident which you’re going to upload in in regards to giving a statement and going forward with it would would you be willing to give us a statement go to court um and look at you

Know supporting a criminal prosecution against this person who’s you know who’s allegedly assaulted you if the body warn video footage shows evidence that I think we’ll win then yes got to see how cuz he got very close his his forehead was touching my forehead and we know that body war video

Cameras are not that wide so right I’d like to review it first I might even pursue a civil claim against them I’ll see see what we got to work with and uh I’ll make the decision when I’ve review the footage right in regards to you as being

You know a victim of common assault or or public order you you want to you know you want to review the footage and then then decide it a later day whether you’re going to you know support a prosecution or not well correct I’m going to say yes I
