Dooll bottle jobs is that how you saw it big fil jela unfortunate that was the story today um Liverpool team massively you know missing some massive players probably The Underdogs for once uh just couldn’t couldn’t um get the players fit and the Chelsea players on a little bit

Of form couldn’t get the job done and the head tight the title itself speaks for itself what was the big thing missing from Chelsea yesterday it’s what it’s been missing all season just like they just can’t find any consistency they play well for five or 10 minutes in

A game or they they don’t play well um there were some good chances look the goalkeeper made some sun and saves did yeah um in big moments they hit the post so it’s not all doom and gloom but the fact of the matter is is a cup final

You’ve got to get that goal you got to win and and unfortunately for them they lost in the last couple of minutes do you know I think my big theory on what happened yesterday was that Liverpool had leaders throughout that team really experienced kind of good solid Lads good

Leaders whereas Chelsea didn’t have too many of them I think Chelsea had got some real quality players lovely but they were all kind of young Lads and I think when that pressure really starts to hit you especially on the pitch on a Wembley on a Sunday afternoon you know

There’s going to be half a billion odd people watching you I think that just gets in your head a little bit well I think they were used to it I think there was like I said the Spy of the team even though K is obviously a second choice

He’s played in Cup finals he’s he’s he scored a winning pen the last time you were there and I think it showed it’s a new team Chelsea and not a lot of the Chelsea boys would have experienced that sort of an occasion they’ve been bought for a lot of money but that doesn’t

Automatically mean you’re ready for those occasions and I’m sure the Chelsea fans will be hoping that this will stand them in good stad for the for the years to come but I’m also pretty sure they were desperate to to win the first TR trophy in a little while well I want to

Ask all three of you as ex players right so I’m watching the game 10 minutes to go all these kids come on and Chelsea had the momentum and I’m like Liverpool are GNA have to survive extra time and then in extra time Liverpool have got the momentum so if pettino has actually

Said we’re going for penalties at what point does professionalism of a player go we can beat this lot and they go on the front foot because Chelsea just seemed to me to sit there and let Liverpool attack him and yet we’re all we all know the quality of players that

They’ve got they should have been more on the front I found that Bonkers I like I heard pochettino say afterwards that he thought that we were in a good moment penalties would have been a good moment for them I thinking what on Earth were you want about here by the way the the

Average ages of both teams I think Liverpool’s was 24 now Liverpool’s was younger in Stu I thought it wasel waser Chelsea’s was 22 Liverpool’s was 24 and I’m thinking when you’re get to the dying moments of games especially extra time that’s when the pressure really comes on isn’t it that’s

Is great credit to him because it’s a cut final it was good what man what manager sometimes will throw all them kids in at the deep end and go go on then let’s see what you’re all about but he’s got a big trust and belief in them but he’s created that over numerous

Years whereas you look at poino he’s come to a Chelsea Squad that’s just been put together in a January window hasn’t he where they’ve just thrown ridiculous amounts of money and he probably doesn’t even know his best team but they comment at the end there saying that his players

Were looking forward to I think that’s just a lame excuse I think you’re professional players like programmed you see all those Liverpool youngsters coming on right do you know what I really loved about every one of them is everyone you could tell Liverpool was in their heart no fear you could no fear

Well that’s well the same they had no price tag they’re playing some of them were local some of them have been through but they they’ve been training with the first team for for the last two or three months anyway the squad’s been quite thin for Liverpool they’d come on

The previous game and they’ have felt at home they felt like they deserve to be there and that was a big difference they came on with absolutely nothing to fear greatest moment of your career and made probably Rose made Liverpool rise that extra gear and Chelsea did not know what

Take you to where you need to be in five years time so the 28- year olds 27 year olds 29y old that they were rumored not to want because they didn’t fit their transfer policy is ludicrous go and buy someone that’s paid 50 500 games in the Premier League games it’s won 12

Trophies don’t go and buy okay maybe not gone by a 35y old who’s not who’s at the end end of the spectum but there’s a certain element of fit footballers between 28 and 30 that you could have bought that I think would probably have got Chelsea a trophy this season I think

Chelsea have done all of this transfer business spent all this money and it’s almost like they can still just keep falling back on this excuse of yeah but we’re just a young team we’re just a young team I’m thinking you know that you have to win games though yeah do you

Know you have that’s the most important thing is winning games and it’s great having a young team and in the future sure they might they might progress and start winning things again but they here and now the reason why they didn’t win that cup final yesterday is because they

Didn’t have enough experience enough leaders enough people whove been there before that really when the pressure hits go yeah boom I’m going to dig in you ear I think it’s an incredible thing that Liverpool did and you can’t take anything away from it but I think it’s a

Good point that Chelsea’s just shown their vulnerability there because if that was Man City or Arsenal and he took brought them kids on they don’t win that game they don’t win that game Man City and Arsenal would would take him apart with experience and and and the coach

They would deal with that I was I thought it was incredible what Liverpool did but I also thought it was incredible that Chelsea capitulated to a team like that and you don’t want to be disrespectful to Liverpool because they were brilliant Chelsea I mean surely in the dressing room and and this morning

For the kids as well it’s a great experience for them that he’s he’s showing them belief and what they’re doing so yeah I think yeah if they can win everything just for him it’ be amazing I know that makes you sick to think about that but this is what Jurgen

Klopp’s done though this is like this is the the power of the man it’s going to be hard now isn’t it the next manager that goes in there now it’s it’s going to be tough but he’s but he has he’s put him in a a position now where whoever

Foundation but I look at Liverpool and you look at the carabal cup I think he’s probably overachieving I don’t think they really should be I I don’t think they’ve got necessarily the the best players of what Man City and maybe even Arsenal maybe but what they have got is

The mentality of it I think what what rubs off on them so much more is that Jurgen Klo mentality of no we’re just going to keep going we’re going to keep going we’ll give you that intensity and that fight and that’s a bit that is most important bit that bit between your ears

Well I think even the financial well difference between well if you want to say the top two the top three Liverpool aren’t quite there at the moment they obviously they’ve rebuilt the stadium and they’ll hope to to get some more money back from that but that’s where they potentially are going to fall

Behind yeah and like you say jurgen’s managed to sort of bridge that Gap with his enthusiasm should we like or his his his General ability of being a good man manager like you say the next person that comes in will have to buy good players but that doesn’t Chelsea bought

Some good players or whatever but it doesn’t guarantee you getting points scers it’s gonna be a really really tough job when when whoever comes in next no matter how good a coach or manager whatever wants to be called comes in all right um man united Mark

You I have to come to you mate I have to come to you um this result this this result didn’t surprise me I don’t even know if it surprised you to be honest you were doing the watch along for it how did you see it I I got to be honest

I think this result uh said to the wife on Saturday night she was going down the pub I said yes and then didn’t really talk and she’s like what’s like you not like this I said I’ve got to be honest this one I’m normally all right I can

Normally just get on with it I couldn’t I was really pissed off with that I really was um I think it’s because we’d won for and there’d been real unity and I think that team doesn’t have that normally and then Fulham like there were second bottom of the league for for for

Away wins and they played us off the park and and I just I don’t get that I mean I was asking you when we did the thing for United stand so I’m gonna ask uh these two as well how are you in a team that is winning four games in a row

Like that and then you turn up at home and I knew from the first five minutes and so many United fans will know this as well they just weren’t up for it they weren’t up for it and and I just don’t get it and and it seems to be a United

Problem that these players are just so inconsistent and you know no disrespect to Luton or teams down the bottom even the Sheffield United and the Burnley I don’t think they’re not up for it they might just not be good enough for it but United are good enough for it and

They’re just for where does that come from Rob I think hland was a big Miss yeah I do personally think he was a big Miss CU he’s he’s been recently scoring a lot of goals he’s now hitting a little bit of form of what people are expecting

To see from him so you take that person out your team now who’s scoring goals the way he presses the way he presses and like you say as a team when that when the front man does the press the whole team then knows where they’re going and I think when you’re taking it

Out and you and you’re trying to find a solution or an answer to doing it it becomes a little bit more difficult so so man you just at the back though they for me they’re they’re they’re weak I think they’re weak at the back with what they are they’re defensively soft not

Like the man united teams that we’ve seen over the years where they got that strong that that physical presence about them they just look like a soft touch and for them are good team I think like we showed disrespect to for a little bit sometimes but on their day when they

Play football they they cause a lot of teams a lot of problems with how they play um man united definitely is’t the kind of Fortress it used to be fil um but what is that like when you’re playing in a game and you know them front men who are supposed to be doing

That pressing job but you know really they’re not doing that pressing job you know before when you saw the team the way it was going to come because obviously H wasn’t available there was talk about even playing Momin as a as a striker and for me just to work just to

Work I would have given it see say now I’d have potentially given it a chance yeah he’s he’s a big lad yeah he’ll work his socks off and he he will he will do it not too dissimilar job yeah I’m not you know he’s the top goal score anyway

Room you’d be raging you be what are you doing everybody be ra you’d be raging if it was on your team wouldn’t you but it goes to the whole point of where man you are like so when he came in he he was idolized he was he was probably the best

There something about being a captain R ferand said it in interview a few months ago he said he said about the being Captain of Manchester United it’s massive he said the pressure that comes with it is massive and he said now he knows players that have turned it down

Because they don’t want that pressure I think I think we Captain is obviously is a massive honor and a privilege and it’s sort of like a a well done and it shows your stature at a club but normally you only talk about the captains when things

Are going bad yeah you never okay every so often you might say great leader and he’s taken you that we speak about van dijke Captain obviously scored the winning goal that that shows an example but normally when a club’s not doing well the captain’s a guy that’s got to

Go do the the interviews the captain’s a guy that got to get hold of a person who’s not doing the right job so his role on a day-to-day and a on a game to game basis when you’re doing well is pretty simple and smooth but that that

Spotlight it’s not only a spotlight it’s about 10 spotlights hit you when things start going bad and like I say better players or really good players prefer to just go and deal with their their job and they can still be leaders yeah so they’re still doing the same jobs and

They’re not hiding on the pitch they just don’t want the added extra of doing that as well that finger point and whatever and when you’ve got a good squad I spoke to you about before but man you where I don’t feel they a team a team would get around these issues

And even take the mick or say look this can’t happen or whatever but I think I don’t think that’s even been mentioned in the bet you I begly that’s not been spoken you know and not not just because it’s the captain but from any sort of player I just don’t think there’s a

There’s an element of look like this is this is this is about bad image this is this is not good for us like we need we need to prove we are well man you’re supposed to be better than everyone else not no not not on alsoo run okay that’s

Where they are at the moment but you’ve got to set those standards and for me the captain can’t I know what type of play is but the captain can’t do that that when you were there you told me that story about you know someone left a

Bib out yeah and they and it was like gigs and Neville and all that lot United I mean if Bruno is not a captain there’s no there’s not another captain in there so you know you need other leaders as well don’t you otherwise you’re even more isol you know the prime example of

This for me Liverpool four or five years ago you got Jordan Henderson and you got James Milner yeah them two are captains of Liverpool FC and they run it but you know the beauty of why they are captains and why they’re so effective as well they’re not the most technically gifted

Players in the world their job is to graft and to grit and to get in between and get in amongst and split and disrupt stuff right so that they can focus on a Saturday afternoon of marshalling people pointing people talking to people making sure standards of rock are like really

Really high man united have got none of them players have they but on the back of that as well you’ve got people like van dijk’s best defender in the world at this time before he does his knee Trent yeah top assist so these Lads like you say are technically worth more to

Liverpool than no respect to Millie or or hendo better players Allison but they’re not getting the pressure or the issues let them flourish let them and now now obviously the the guard the changeing the guards happen now they’re the captain and Vice Captain but you can

See it’s now their role to be well role role model to show how to to put that out on the pitch and and show everyone else so three or four years more time there’s going to be another couple of next captains or next Generation leaders that are going to come through and I’d

Imagine they’ll do it the right way whereas Manu if if it was Maguire who was Maguire’s Vice Captain before probably Bruno yeah I think it was Bruno Bruno Vice Captain now is probably veran who’s on his way out so I’m saying you’ve not got someone who’s got anything to do with Liverpool Manu

That have been there that know what Manu want and what they need and what the fans expect whereas it’s like a development it’s almost like the youth team to to to reserves to First Team you’re almost doing that with your leaders slap captains of the future

Unless you get a captain that comes in from another club if you naturally get a captain that you’ve bought I presume he’ he’ take over yeah but that’s why you have your leadership groups so you look at your you look at your man cities your arsenals now with where they’re going

And how they’re doing it your liverpools they’ve got a collective group they got together theyve got togetherness they they have their rules and they said it there’s boundaries fellas we don’t cross the boundaries at man united that just looks like there at the moment There’s No Boundaries it’s like you got your

Rashford’s you got your anony you got your Bruno doing that everyone’s in and it’s it just looks like everyone’s in for their own little thing but they’re not focusing on this is man united this is what we do and there’s there four or five people behind grabbing that and get it together

And going no this is how we do things at man united there’s not that there at the moment is it I’m sure they probably get on okay I bet bet I bet I’m not saying you going into change room and like I’m refusing to speak to you I won’t see

Next to you I bet they’re all okay but that’s not what makes a championship challenging team it’s okay is never good enough at that level you it’s not a Band of Brothers but it needs to be when you’re on the pitch you need you need to know roughly what everyone’s going to be

Doing and everyone’s going to be thinking it’s not oh here we go again he’s been flicked on his ear he’s going to spend next 30 seconds you can visibly see that’s not the case like you watch the game on Saturday you can see it Bruno’s pass and other players going

Like this you know they’re not in on the same wavelength so you you’ll be right in the dressing room it’s not it’s not what Fulham have got it’s not got F’s got it’s not what Liverpool’s got uh lad this is World Class by the way thank you

Weeks um must be a good time to be in Arsenal fan M yeah I mean I think we spoke about it a few weeks ago didn’t we they look tired at Christmas and that little break they had well everyone had it and then they got knocked out by

Liverpool in the cup and I think they’ve got another eight days now so they keep getting these little breaks I know they lost in the Champions League but I think they just went there tactically not to get beat and obviously considered a late goal they’ll be fine but in the Premier

League uh I mean they were they just there was so much than Newcastle and I looked at newcastle’s lineup and they’ve they’ve got Joel Linton missing I think that’s it most of them are back now and they’re just head and shoulders of of Newcastle and I thought that the way

They’re playing as well it amazes me some of their fans still question arteta I think what he’s done there over the last three or four years is amazing um what he did with the goalkeeper I know you disagreed with it but it’s worked you know it works with reyer um Ben

White’s not really a right back is he he works really well there still don’t really have a recognized Striker but he puts HS up there is unbelievable deam rice has just been I mean I don’t for 100 million pounds is there a player out there that’s you know not got any stick

For being 100 million pounds he’s just he’s just gone in there perfectly I think the only thing about Arsenal that worries me is that if they did lose a rice or a sacka or a celba they really don’t have anything else but at the moment I mean they’re banging a title
