Welcome back to the rental of Switzerland it’s Ollie here and in this episode we are in the beautiful region of Interlaken and this is one of the most popular and favorite destinations amongst tourists and also amongst locals and rightfully so because this place is just incredibly Scenic so in this

Itinerary I will be bringing you around a mountain Excursion up too fast because over there so if you’re interested to find out about this itinerary make sure you like this video subscribe to the channel if you haven’t turn the notifications bells on and let’s get going Just arrived at Grindelwald this is one of the most popular destinations in Switzerland because the scenes here are just incredible you do not know this is the Anzac Emoji train that you will find when you’re on WhatsApp it’s this train that is inspired from so at Cricket World station right

Outside the train station is the ticket office this is also where you can deposit your baggage if you have heavy luggages and you want to store it at a safe place it’s just over here then straight ahead is where you go out and then to go to the cable car station

To reach the first control station you just have to keep walking straight past the main Town however if you happen to have the Swiss travel pass the burning Overland pass or the young Pao travel pass you can take the pass for free so we’re here on a Sunday and it’s quite

Surprising because most of the shops and the restaurants are open maybe because it’s a public holiday today so it’s quite bustling right now in the wall Oh Now we’re inside the controller that’s going to bring us up to First and in terms of the ticket pricing is 64 francs for the full fare but if you have the Swiss travel pass or the hardback card it is at 50 discount at 30 so if you are a holder of the burner

Overland pass or the young file travel pass then you’re in luck because your entire ride up to fast is free Thank you none of you here It’s that starting point of the diesel cave walk is not for those who are fearful of heights it’s just right at the edge of the tree and the views here are just incredulous highly recommended if you’re here up on the first Mountain the first Cliff Walk

By tiso is a metal walkway and a swinging bridge that is perched to the site of the fiesta Mountain at 2168 meter it might look a little bit intimidating at first so if you have a fear of heights you might want to be careful but overall the views are so

Amazing here and it’s just well worth beating your fears and taking a short walk here oh towards the end of the walk there is also a viewing platform which happens to be a really popular photo spot so expect long cues if you want a photo up here This restaurant where you can have drinks inside very spectacular here and there’s a lot of people right now because it’s happy holiday again There are two incredible attractions at Fiesta and one of which is the Fiesta flyer this is a zip line with a single chair so you fly down from Fiesta to Shrek felt really fast and this is guaranteed to give you that Adrenaline Rush the second attraction which I think

Is more unique is the Fiesta glider if you ever wanted to see the world like a bird this is your chance the fias glider is like a zip line except that you’re flying like a bird with your face down and you’re pulled 800 meters backwards

Up to fast and then you fly down at a speed of 83 km per hour the fierce glider starts and ends at trackfeld station so to do this activity take the cable car one stop down from fast we are really sad because the lines was just too long and we just can’t wait

Because it’s going to take at least an hour and a half to be our turn and the thing closed at 4 15 PM so we are really cutting it so another time perhaps it’s a really fun summer activity that you can try when you’re here at

Them all the way down here to the station at the bottom and it’s an easy write down and a good alternative take note that the trotty bike or the mountain card activities are only available during summer from May onwards the Melbourne cart starts from track

Belt to vote while the rental for the 40 bike is at Port Station so make sure you take the cable car down from fast Right and you just have to balance on this um I don’t know this platform it can be quite dangerous because you’re going all the way downhill so just make sure you hold press the brakes real tight especially when you’re going downhill but otherwise it’s a really fun experience we love it Foreign I think the whole 20 bike down took us about half an hour including time for pictures and stopping along the way if you have watched my past video on top mistakes that tourists make in Switzerland you will know that I’ve always advised not staying too long in

Interlaken but given that it is only half an hour away from grind about there’s no excuse to visit it as a day trip to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the top of hadaku They like this restaurant because they are very Asian oriented look at this they have vegetarian dishes and then they have veggie burger too and also Indian dishes Bean Masala Curry I love this Terrace it’s just so nice when you’re here for Sunset look at the view definitely enjoy your food but if it’s

Too cold you can eat it inside but it’s maybe not that nice out here then you can stick here for some pictures Then into our room at hotel to Glacier here in Grindelwald and I love the layout it’s so modern Thank you

    1. What time of year was this video filmed? Sad that the trottibikes arent available in April. Plan to go to First Cliff Walk and roam around the village, do you have additional recommendations?

    2. Many Thks for this info, will be visiting this 04/23 hopefully the weather will not be too cold. Also will it be too early to reach @ 8am ?

    3. Thanks for your video! I am confused how the gondola works. You pay for a round trip. My question is do you have to pay to get back up to first after doing the activities such as the glider. I noticed you started at first, but ended up at a different station. Do you have to pay to get back up to first? I hope this question makes sense! I want to do 3 activities, but not if I have to pay to go back on the gondola.

    4. How much does it cost to go first walk and go back with all these activites? We're planning to spend 1 day in switzerland where our start point is Strasbourg and don't have any solid plan. Do you have any recommendation on places to go?

    5. Hi Ms. Olivia. Hope you can give me an advice. What is the best ticket to buy for a trip in Switzerland from Paris. What is the best train ticket that will cover Zurich- Bern-Interlaken – Lauterbrunnen – Grindelwald – Jungfraujoch – Zermat and St Morrits at the lowets cost. Your advice will really help us alot.

    6. If you pay the round fare fee for the cable cart, but take the trotti down we are just paying twice the amount for coming back, is that right? Or can a 1 way be purchased to go up and then trotti it down?

    7. Hi. Greetings from a fellow singaporean. I enjoyed your video. Can u advise if I should get the Swiss travel pass or half fare + regional pass if I m travelling to Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken ( Jungfrau, Grindelwald, Gimmelwald, Murren, Lauterbrunnen etc), Geneva etc .

    8. I have a Eurail pass for my travel across Europe. Is getting the Swiss travel pass a wise choice for 4 days? Confused, and would appreciate any suggestions.

    9. Brilliant video! We just came back from Grindelwald last week too (unfortunately the weather was awful….😢) We unable to do the flyer due to it was closed (because of the weather), fortunately the Glider was opened for 1/2 hr & we managed to have a go before it closed to public again….

    10. Halo olivia, i'll start my journey from zweilutschinen terminal as i stay around there for my jungfrau trip
i found out at the sbb mobile app the only public tranportation from zweilutschinen to grindelwald is only by bus. Is the terminal bus in gridelwald is a same as grindelwald train station? n then i just go straighy walk to grindelwald fist cable car? or free by bus as i already have swiss pass flexi for the day
