Can Golfers Beat a Professional Cyclist?

In a battle of fitness and power, golfers are taken out of the comfort zone and faced with the 1km cycling challenge.

With the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships taking place in Scotland from the 3rd-13th August, we challenged six DP World Tour golfers and three golf broadcasters to test out their sprint skills on a Zwift bike and see who can complete 1km the fastest.

Lewis Stewart, a Commonwealth Champion, visited the Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in July and popped into the players’ gym to set a target time of 56s. We then put the DP World Tour golfers to the test to see if any could match his pace on the bike.
