Lichterkette 2019 – Rückblick auf weltweite Vorführungen des Films DAS PHÄNOMEN BRUNO GRÖNING

Im Januar 2019 hatte der Dokumentarfilm DAS PHÄNOMEN BRUNO GRÖNING auf YouTube Onlinepremiere. Rund um diesen Termin wurde der Film parallel auch in Kinos, Hotels und Mobilkinos gezeigt – weltweit und in annähernd 1 000 Vorstellungen. Wie eine globale Lichterkette aus vielen kleinen Lichtpunkten. 2023 veranstaltet der Bruno Gröning-Freundeskreis eine ähnliche Lichterkette. Anlass diesmal: der 20. Jahrestag der Kinopremiere des Films am 3. Oktober 2003.

My name is Michel Barman. I come from Santa Cruz, California. I found the film very inspiring and powerful. I came with an abscess on my tooth, that had started yesterday, and it was really very disturbing. In the second interval of the movie it was completely gone.

A little bulge remained, but even that is gone. Good afternoon. My name is Joyce Miller. I’m 69 years old and I had been invited by a friend to come to the film showing of Bruno Gröning yesterday. As a child I had an injury.

I had fallen off the hay wagon and at that time one only applied a little aluminum, and I had to get along with it. I used to have pain again and again, and as an adult I got arthritis.

When I had to work for twelve hours it sometimes became unbearable, but I just endured. But when I experienced yesterday how the energy came into my body through my neck, there it was tingling. But it also felt, as if someone would scratch down my arm and my leg.

Until yesterday, when I wanted to stand up from sitting or lying, I had to pause for a moment, until everything in the body was adjusted again. And yesterday after the film I just stood up and started walking. It was just like ‘wow’ and really amazing.

I hadn’t experienced that in my whole life before. So I’m really humble and grateful for the healing that I received. And after I’d seen the whole film, there was a quite soft warmth, a peaceful and calming feeling. I didn’t jump up, usually I hesitate before getting up and take a little break.

But I hadn’t been conscious about that and I just stood up and left. It was really ‘wow’, amazing, truly, truly amazing. [Vietnam] We put this flyer together, to announce showings at different times and different places, as well as in Hanoi and also in Ho-Chi-Minh-City.
