Nala and I are on the bike cycling down the coast of Italy๐Ÿ˜ป With having the sea and tons of beaches right next to us, we thought we’d spend a night out in the tent and we definitely found an absolutely gorgeous wee spot โค๏ธ It’s quite a shame though that the beach we stayed at had loads of rubbish on it, I’m planning on getting some bin bags so we can start tidying up the places we stay at in the future. After another beautiful and warm day of cycling, Nala and I weren’t as lucky finding a place to set up camp at the beach so we just got our sleeping bag out and slept on a bridge, and as always we got an amazing sleep in the fresh air. We cycled all the way to Pescara and made plans for the next few days since we want to get to Rome which is at the other coast of Italy. Nala and I weren’t too sure if we would have the time to cycle across 5000 feet high hills as we’re planning to get to Spain very soon as well, so we thought getting a train would give us more time exploring the West coast of Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ˜ป

Weโ€™re Dean & Nala, and weโ€™ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, weโ€™ve been travelling the world together. So feel free to tag along if youโ€™re interested in following our journey and adventures around the globe โค๏ธ

    1. it's my birthday today and after a nice day with friends and family, I wanted to catch up a little bit with dean and nala. best way to end a lovely day ๐Ÿ™‚
stay safe and sound and enjoy beautiful italia <3

    2. I watched this one a few times, but now there is a new one to look forward to, yeah!! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปSo sweet Nala tucked in her basket playing with her paper centipede,lol!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿค— Sleeping in a tent or on a bridge, eating heated canned food, biking hours every day….you have to be pretty sturdy & hardy for that kind of lifestyle! But the Scots are well known for having both those qualities, bravery & boldness too.- Dean you do your country proud sir!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
      Be safe!๐Ÿ€๐Ÿค—๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    3. Wow, what a great journey. Aren't you afraid of sleeping on a bridge at night? Be safe! In California, the homeless vagrants would have stabbed you.

    4. I started with vlog #1 and here I am. Feel like I've traveled the world with you and Nala, because I have. Camping, B & B ing, hotel stays, tops of mountains by cable, beaches, plazas, friendly and caring people, etc. What a treasure this has been, and what a gift you and Nala are. Thank you!!!

    5. Enjoy these videos. I believe that this will be the last time we will ever see Dean and Nala having an adventure. It was fantastic while it lasted but obviously the Ukraine situation has been a disaster for them…how much of one we don't know because it has been 2 weeks since we last heard a word about them. I fear something awful has happened and they just can't figure out how to tell us the bad news.

    6. PLEASE post another video on YouTube. I only use YouTube and I miss seeing you & Nala. PLEEEEEZ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿฆณโค

    7. Dean, you said you thought you were bitten by something and the area was very itchy. You might want to carry a little medical supply bag with cortisone cream for itching, inflammation, bandaids, etc. You probably have some emergwncy stuff. Do you have tweezers to remove ticks if Nala gets them on her? Also, during your travels, do you apply a topical anti flea, ear mite, etc monthly treatment like Revolution on Nala to keep the bugs away?

    8. Too bad , cycling a little north of there across Italy would be fabulous. Well worth taking the time to do it and the effort. The Adriatic coast is very easy but not very interesting as you saw.

    9. It bothers me a lot when Dean disregards barriers that clearly signal him to stay out of places. There's quite likely a good reason why the city had blocked off the entrances to that walkway. I'm pretty sure it would be considered criminal trespass to have unscrewed the gate to gain access to an area deliberately blocked off. I've seen him do similar things in other vlogs so it isn't just a one-off thing. I pray to God if he ever comes to the US and tries to do this that he picks his area well because he could find himself in quite a bit of legal hot water (if not shot, God forbid, but my country has a real problem with guns and quite distrustful citizens so you guys be careful should you come to the US).

When Nala is drinking from the bottle at the very end of the video, it reminded me of a sheep I once had who also drank from my tea bottles just like that. She was a "bottle baby" because her mother died 36 hours or so after giving birth (massive internal injuries none of us realized she had) so she grew up in my dining room in diapers along with her twin sister. I had that ewe a long time. She was my baby and I was her bitch. (I used to raise sheep and don't ask me for what unless you are okay with meat animals.)
