Saw the road sign for Biga and Canakkale. Spent a few days in Canakkale on the banks of the Dardanelles and the nearby ruins of ancient Troy. Olives fresh off the tree (or the ground) are pretty nasty and bitter. I found out the hard way too! Still on the hunt for a new meerschaum…gift to self for Christmas.
