This is the start of a new season TDT-Unibet. Go, go, go, go! Hartthijs – That’s very good, allez man…. …you got a good advantage, allez! Yeah, what the f*ck boy… …shit. M*rde! In our dream of participating in the Tour de France… …we have moved a step closer with our ProTeam licence.

On Sunday 14 April, we may even take part in our very first WorldTour race: The Amstel Gold Race! My wildest dream is to compete in the final of the Amstel Gold Race. At the start of 2024, the big question is…

Can we show ourselves directly to the cycling world in the Tour of Antalya? 93… After an intensive training camp in Spain… …we are travelling with seven riders, staff, Josse and myself… …to Turkey for our first race of 2024. In the Tour of Antalya, we will make our debut as a ProTeam.

No, because we are in Turkey for the Tour of Antalya. A four-day stage race that takes us between all-inclusive resorts to great heights. Stage one is one for the sprinters, but after that it won’t be flat anymore. With stage three being the absolute queen stage.

We are at the start with Owen, Martijn, Jelle,… …Cedrik, Hartthijs, Charlie and Axel. Our team has gone through quite a transformation this winter. Lots of new riders in, lots of foreigners… – Lots of climbers. …lots of climbers. Because hard riders on the flat, we already had them.

And this is actually the first race… Uphill. – …Uphill. And also a test with that… – Uphill arrival. Yes and with that I think we can also show that we are not… …only that team from the Netherlands who can ride nice and hard on the flat.

But with Cedrik Christophersen and Charlie Paige hopefully. In particular, yes. Hopefully, this week them two. Could also possibly go for a Tour de France classification in two years’ time. Well, I think that’s a quick step from Tour of Antalya to Tour de France.
